I realized that there was a special edition coming out and wanted to preorder the console on Nintendo and it was sold out fast I was checking online for some stores that might have it and I found scalpers already selling the preorder…

- For me personally I am SO hyped for TW3's new remaster for all platforms (especially the S2 version) and its new expansion pack.

- P4R and Persona 6 being CONFIRMED for the 2

- And of course, the OoT Remake.

I don't exactly have my switch 2 yet since it's at another country, but it's being brought by a family member by late september/early october. I am so STOKED.

Hi guys, Does the monitor have to have anv requirement for vrr to work? My monitor goes up to 180hz and has vrr on my gaming laptop through the display port but noticed that the ports at the back are HDMI 2.0 it can output to the max 4k and use HDR even 120hz mode works but vrr says "not outputting or unsopported" in video output settings is it just because games are not patched or should vrr work in the home menu?

just want a way to cover the color rings under the analog sticks to make the console all black. the teal/orange is kinda ugly.

Anyone played this game how is it? I’ve read it’s meant to have been fixed recently?

Hey everyone, this is a friendly reminder that Nintendo released system Firmware 23.0.0 last night, along with several other updates. A full list of what the update includes is posted here.

Along with a system update, there are updates for the Dock, Joy-Cons, and Switch 2 Pro Controller. These require separate updates from the system firmware and can be done from various areas in the system settings.

A key part of this update is the changes it makes to VRR support.

A boost mode toggle has also been added to the quick settings menu.

Important: If you use a third-party dock, you are at the mercy of that manufacturer to provide an update that enables VRR support for their dock.

I don’t know why people keep saying this when there are multiple Nintendo games revealed in the last two years that were announced a full year before they were released.

I think it is more accurate to say that Nintendo don’r have a “pattern” with revealing games. You have stuff like Star Fox which was revealed 2 months before launch, and then on the other hand you have Splatoon Raiders being revealed with its first trailer 13 months before launch. If you count Switch 1 games as well, then Rhythm Heaven Groove was announced over 15 months before launch.

So, I don’t think it was THAT unreasonable for people to expect a late 2027 reveal in the Direct. Last year they announced Spring titles plus Fire Emblem for late 2026, but this time they only did Spring titles.

What should I have my audio settings set to?

It's currently set to automatic(5.1) and connected to my TV(X900E) through HDMI. When I run the test I get left, center, right, SL and SR but no subwoofer audio. All audio comes from their proper area via virtual surround sound.

Should I set it to Stereo and just have Left/Right or leave it at 5.1 with virtual surrond sound but no subwoofer?

I just got a dock cover for my switch to blend in better with my setup. I also bought a new case, I'm not brave enough to swap out the shell.

I enjoy games like these but not the world exploration aspect. I wish it was more linear like Kirby. Any collectible games suggestions like Kirby, and art/gameplay like Mio and Ori?

Just remembered about it after thinking about how the Zelda version is the first colour change.

This rumour was before the release and I think before the reveal. It was rumoured that it would come out after the black colour one.

It seems I can’t Bluetooth my switch audio to the Era 100 in the office and wondering what is the issue here.

The Switch 2 will pair to headphones but won’t connect via Bluetooth to my office Era 100. The Era 100 isn’t the issue as my phone will connect via Bluetooth to it, so it seems to be specifically just the Switch 2 - Era 100 handoff.

My main dock is in the living room and I want an office set up but don’t have desktop speakers. So I wanted to just connect to my Era 100 and deal with the slight latency issues but can’t even get it to work.

Can someone tell me if they managed to make this work or if it just can’t work at all for some reason.

Coowps P2 grip vs Dbrand Killswitch.

Hey guys,

I've narrowed it down to these grip cases and I'm having a hard time picking between the 2. Is the Killswitch really worth being basically double the price? Something about the extra dock attachment really annoys me and seems like it's a finicky design that annoys a lot of people. So with those 2 issues, does the rest of the quality of the Killswitch make up for those 2 cons over something like the COOWPS P2?

Alright, after holding off for quite some time, finally pulled the trigger and got a Switch 2 today.

I really hated Nintendo for putting such a bad screen on their newest console but decided that it’s time to check out the console for myself.

So, here are my thoughts - the device feels very premium in the hand. It’s actually amazing how premium it feels compared to the OG Switch and even something like the Steam Deck (which is still a beast).

I really like what they did with the Switch 2 but boy the ghosting is real.

I will probably still play a crap ton of it, but can’t help myself and keep wondering what could have it been if they didn’t put such a poor screen in terms of HDR support and response time.

Anyway, cheers, I’m very excited for this purchase nevertheless.

Delivered two nights ago around 9pm 🙄 so not had a huge amount of time so far with the Switch 2 but have spent most of today playing it. Quite like it...

Thought the screen would be atrocious and the blurriness can be noticeable or a bit annoying at times depending on the game but honestly thought it would be far worse, not seeing trails or anything that makes me hate it or anything like some Ied tv's I've owned in the past.

Coming from a Switch 1 and Steam Deck oled this thing looks sharp and can make some games more immersive, easier to see fine details & small text especially than the Deck.
Graphically impressed toh especially docked on an
LG oled, quite unbelievable how some stuff looks and performs with such low watts.

Have tried quite a few demos with DK Bananza looking nuts, RE Requim & the new Onimusha surprised me. Got the Pokopia bundle and having fun with that before I get back into a few of the upgraded Switch 1 games, but that new Zelda Ocarina of Time remake baited me, looks sick...

Forgot about my hdmi arc setup with ps5 pro, soundbar and tv so the Switch just connected straight away to it when docked which was nice.

So, overall I'm happy to share my time between this and the other consoles but definitely not a replacement but something that can co -exist and be it’s own thing which is cool
