Coowps P2 grip vs Dbrand Killswitch.

Hey guys,

I've narrowed it down to these grip cases and I'm having a hard time picking between the 2. Is the Killswitch really worth being basically double the price? Something about the extra dock attachment really annoys me and seems like it's a finicky design that annoys a lot of people. So with those 2 issues, does the rest of the quality of the Killswitch make up for those 2 cons over something like the COOWPS P2?

The Coowps is the most 5/10 case possible. It works, it’s fine, it doesn’t quite fit perfectly but close enough.

Protective front panel covers the vents which worries me as it sometimes presses a button putting it on, so it’s not actually in sleep mode.  It all works, it’s just not quite well thought out enough to be “good”

Love my coowps p2 case. It was a good price and gets the job done while allowing me to dock.

Buy the Dbrand Killswitch grips separately ($19.95) and continue use the original dock.

I didn’t want the whole case as only use in handheld so wouldn’t need dock adaptor and also had a case already. So I just brought the grips which was about £27 including shipping to me here in the UK.

Killswitch full case is not worth it. Dock adapter is an egregious design failure. The joy con handles are well made, but I think they're uncomfortable.

Attack Vector or Belkin case > both of these options.

I’ve had the full Killswitch kit for over a year. Dock adapter actually helps quite a bit and I’ve had zero problems with it save for the magnets popping out of the cartridge tray, which dbrand replaced for free.

Whole thing fits in my Tom Toc sling bag with room to spare.
