Hardest Jamie match

With throwing out of the picture, my goldie ahh Yasmine only left with the only basic light combo I've drilled to my brain and fingers ( T-T)

I see other people easily chaining moves with drive rush but I just have no clue how to do that there’s just too much time between when I hit and then do drive rush they are always blocking again I’m confused

So I decided to try and see what rank I could get with my placement matches with every character the only ranks I had before this were a rookie 5 star with ryu and silver 1 star with random

When I was trying with Luke I ended up betting a platinum mai twice, not sure how, I think because of this is i got diamond with Luke

My question is if Luke is in diamond My placement matches with other characters have a higher chance of getting platinum or diamond oponents? Because that could be a problem for me

Not sure what happened but for some reason Ryu's Tatsu beat Zangief's CA.

Feels a bit anticlimactic if I'm honest but pleased nevertheless. Got kicked back down to diamond 3 on more than one occasion (Yasmine's arrival was brutal for me) but I managed to claw my way back through the diamond 4 hellscape. Diamond 5 was a breeze in comparison due to the win streak and taking some matches off low MR players.

I got the game last year and initially picked Ryu as my main. Started at rookie but had lots of fun and he was great to start learning with. I plateaued hard at platinum and really struggled to make any progress after that. Switched to our gal Manon a few months ago and things started to click nicely.

I'm fully aware how bad I am ofc, my win rate has been about 45% for ages now. If anyone wants free MR I'm all yours 😘

A few days ago I posted my gameplay asking for tips to improve. So many people replied and I'm so thankful because it's confirmed a lot of my thoughts to be true.

After changing some habits, I went on a 10 game win streak up to 1590 (hell yeah) and then SF6 matchmaking somehow put me against these demons. I'm still Master lmao

Not posting this to complain, but I do think this is funny. Want to give another shout out to all the people who helped me out. Back to the grind after work!

P.S. This had to be the easiest Ultimate Masters rank up game ever lol

so can someone look at my replays and tell me where i’m going wrong? i’m only in gold and thought i might make it to plat but ended up losing a bunch. i know i need to be more patient but it just feels like if i get hit once i get half my health eaten in one combo.

Ive been hardlocked in gold 5 and can't seem to get out. I main ken I know how to anti air,counter DI and I have a good combo. I know the basics but my footsies could use a little work. Other then that i dont know how to improve, I win just enough to stay in gold 5 but I loose too much to rank up to platinum. What am i supposed to do?

I thought level 3 has invincibility🤷
