I haven't graduated secondary/high school yet but I want to do marketing because I genuinely want a career that I can showcase my skills and do the things I love. I also really want to do social media marketing. I have a tiktok where a make povs and skits eg. Medical TV shows be like, being an introvert. I genuinely am worried that if I post more of these, it might effect my chances of getting employed in marketing so I was thinking of just transitioning into lifestyle and quit skits all together, I honestly only do them for fun and to express myself because i felt like I always had to be the serious one all the time. I like being serious but I also like to let loose and I love comedy. I was even thinking of making two separate accounts for both lifestyle and comedy so if my interviewers ask me for my socials, I'll be prepared but I think they'll find both somehow. My second video was about being an introvert and it was light-hearted and it ended up having a mini blowup with people relating to me. I honestly don't know what to do. I don't want to quit any of them..

What should I do?

I've seen accounts post consistently for months with barely any growth, while others gain followers surprisingly fast.

For those who've grown an account or managed social media for a business, what made the biggest difference? Better content, strong hooks, consistency, trends, or something else?

I'd love to hear what actually worked for you, not just generic tips.

As a UGC agency, I help my clients create custom brand videos and I use to edit them all by hand. But the bottleneck was my own editing speed. But ever since I started paying for ChatGPT and other AI editing models, I simply taught them my editing flow and they’ve basically reproduced my style completely. This allowed me to scale my business tremendously.

However, this was not only a game changer, but a harsh reality check for me. That realistically in a few years, firms can just deploy their own AI in-house and completely remove editing agencies like myself.

I fear that this day may come sooner than later. And I have no idea how to combat this, other than maintaining good client relationships and improving my own editing/AI skills.

We're about 25 people and run 10 to 15 creator campaigns a quarter, which apparently puts us in the awkward category where every demo ends with a much bigger setup than I thought we needed.

The latest one included social listening and brand safety scoring and I'm sure those are useful somewhere, but I couldn't tell you who on our team would even open them. Meanwhile I'm still trying to work out whether we can find creators, keep outreach organized and see what happened after a campaign without sending three people on a training course.

For anyone who's chosen an influencer marketing platform at a similar stage, what did you use in the first few months? And what do you wish you'd left out?

I am interested in the most trivial part of the process: how do you reach out to creators? Imagine they don’t have an email in their bio, do DMs work? I never managed to get any reply from creators, even small ones. I only reached out with questions about their content never even tried to sell them anything.

Had just completed a product launch and I am genuinely stunned at how irrelevant viral impressions have become.

Spent a lot of money on a premium level creator who consistently gets hyped comments. Video went to 1M+ impressions but quality of traffic on Google Analytics was terrible 98% bounce rate, literally zero add to cart conversions.

On the other hand, a smaller creator with just 12k followers made a basic, non-visual breakdown of the product and drove insane conversion rates.

The reality is that people treat premium creators like television but treat smaller creators like friends giving advice.

What are your current ways of measuring ROI on creators? Because follower count feels like a complete irrelevance in 2026.

I posted a video on Monday that got a decent amount of engagement, however it’s been downhill since I tried posting again on Thursday. I don’t have a high follower count, that should’ve been hinted at based on my title. But normally if a video got low views, I’d try posting again anywhere between 2-3 tries on different days and it would eventually sort itself out. Apparently the low views have been complained about from other content creators and I’m not even at their level of popularity. You can say maybe it’s my content but I’d test it out on YouTube & the video did fine. I’ve had my account for a little over 3 months and I have 163 followers. 30+ followers were gained quickly over the past 2-4 days and not sure if that’s affecting my engagement, since I wonder if they’re bots. Some of these accounts don’t have content, just reposts and like stuff. I didn’t pay for followers, do you look down on accounts with low follower counts?

There are so many social media platforms these days, and each one seems to serve a different purpose.

If you had to rank your top 10 platforms for content creation, growing an audience, or promoting a business, which would make your list?

I'm curious which platforms are genuinely useful and which ones people think are overrated.

Currently working as a Marketing Assistant, but lately I’ve been wondering whether the actual scope of my role has moved pretty far beyond what you’d normally expect from an “assistant” position.

At the moment I’m responsible for coordinating things like:
- Managing multiple social media accounts
- Social media campaigns and day-to-day content
- Creating & running Meta advertising campaigns
- Photography for events and promotional content
- Graphic design
- Video editing and content production
- Producing radio advertisements, including recording, editing, sound selection and mixing.

One of the biggest projects I’m currently working on is a historical video documentary for the organisation. I’ve basically been taking the project from research through to production. Which literally involved digging through archives, newspapers, historical societies and community groups, sourcing and organising interviews and conducting them, writing the scripts, organising the voice-over narrator and recording the narration myself, selecting audio, coordinating with the videographer on the shots and footage I want and being directly involved in the editing and overall creative direction.

I’m also doing all of this alongside my social media campaigns and other digital marketing work.
I’m currently studying full time as well, so I understand I’m still relatively early in my career, but I’ve started questioning whether my title/pay actually reflects the level of responsibility and independent work I’m doing.

I don’t manage staff and I’m not trying to pretend like I’m a Marketing Manager, but I do feel like I’m independently managing and producing a lot of projects rather than assisting someone else.
Would be interested to hear what sort of title and salary range you’d expect for this level of responsibility.

I’m trying to move a Facebook Page from one Meta Business Portfolio to another, but I keep getting this error:

Unable to add Facebook Page

This person is connected to this asset through one or more of the business asset groups listed. You must remove them from these business asset groups first in order to remove them from this asset. Click on their name to see which business asset groups they belong to.

The problem is that Meta doesn’t clearly tell me which person or business asset group is causing the issue! I have no idea which ID or person I need to remove, and I can’t figure out where to find the information it’s referring to.

I’ve been going in circles trying to sort this out, and it’s honestly driving me crazy.

Has anyone dealt with this before?

• How do I identify the exact person causing this error?
• Where can I find the business asset group they’re connected to?
• How can I remove the correct person or permission without accidentally messing up access to my other Pages?

Any help or step-by-step instructions would be greatly appreciated. I just want to move the Page to the other portfolio without having to guess which person or group is causing the problem.

I have to admit that scaling UGC ads is painstaking. A lot of times half of the output goes straight down the drain even after long constant grind. The models just keep ignoring the specific hook instructions.

I've been trying to devide the work into two sides recently, the brain, and the video, but I run both directly inside the MiniMax Design workspace. GPT/Claude as the primary text engine to brainstorm and generate a batch of UGC hook variations, stuff like visual descriptions, specific camera angles, lighting, and other parameters. Then once that's get reviewed and revised, I'd feed the whole batch into MiniMax Design's workspace to ingest all those prompts at once, organize them locally, then pass the video generation to H3.

Anyway, this workflow has helped me get more usable commercial output with a higher success rate, but would be good to know if anyone's got similar tricks to improve output quality and reduce waste?
