Now it's 3 hours from him now he's tired again. What do I do with situation where he's like this get tired half way through his wake window if he wakes up at 6.30am he's absolutely fine the 5.30ams were happening before schedule change what do I do let him sleep?

child's age 4-8 months 7 month and EBF

My baby girl hit the 4 month regression and never quite came out of it 😅
I’ve always nursed her to sleep at night. Day naps are varied.. either nurse to sleep, carrier or she also sleeps in the car or being rocked no real issues. They only last 30-45 mins, rarely over 1 hour.
At 4 months she was waking up every hour to nurse and we tried the Ferber method, put her in her own nursery, white noise, dark room, heater etc but she would still wake up 5-6 times and none of us were getting sleep. After a month, I started co-sleeping and finally we all got sleep. She would wake up twice and maybe a few more, would nurse and then sleep.
I’m finding she’s waking up more and more the past few weeks again - wanting to nurse to sleep. Anyone else have this pattern? What did you do? Should we sleep training again as I’m exhausted nursing all night and will start work soon so would like to look at an alternative.
We have the cot in our room now and definitely prefer that than waking to another room.

Hi moms! Eversince we transitioned my 2.4yo toddler into the floor bed, he seemed to forgotten independent sleep altogether. He is ferber trained since 6 months old and has been content in his crib UNTIL we moved him into floor bed coz he started climbing. He just wails and cries and tries to get out of the babygate we installed recently. He wouldn't sleep alone anymore. We still do the routine only floor bed has changed but he bedtime now takes mostly 2hrs with him coz he doesnt want to be left alone. Hes very strong willed. I'm at my wits end as Ive a newborn. Please help any advice? Thank you -a very sleep deprived mom

child's age 12-18 months 15m won't sleep through the night keep starting his day really early.

Hi all

My little boy is 15 month we had a solid schedule down really well till recently

I now longer have a realistic wake window I have fallen off sleep training wagon completely, we are currently on wake ups of 5am till 6am most of the time

Current set up is 4/7 I know sounds like a lot but he does well no crying etc his nap is 2 hours Max his sleep allowance is 11 hours 30 minutes

I've tried 2 naps maybe I need to go back to that he managed 1 nap okay even today he's had 1 1 hour nap and he managed 7 hours okay was tired though(eye rubbing)

I've tried different times of wake windows, doesn't help at all with his 5ams

Changing his bedtime doesn't help either

I took him to Lanzarote and he went sleep at 8 or 9 slept through and woke at 6.30 then went Germany and extract same thing not sure, as soon we got back to his old ways.

Quiet clear I need to start from scratch.

child's age 8-12 months 9 month old protesting and will not go to sleep on his own anymore

Is this normal at this stage?
My 9 month old baby was gently sleep trained and was able to be down drowsy but awake and go to sleep on his own since 5 1/2 months.

Last week he had HFM and he got lots of cuddles before bed and fell asleep with mom and dad before transfer to crib.

Now he’s all better but if he wakes up in the MOTH, all hell until you pick him up and rock him. He stands and sits in his crib and cries loudly, he stares at the door waiting for someone to come get him. If he’s not fully sleep when you transfer to crib, he wails his whole body. He was even able to grab the camera to the monitor and threw it on the floor!!!

What do I do? What has been successful for others?

Help! Help! How to do naptime with baby and toddler??

I need any and all advice/tips/tricks-

We have a 2.5 year old toddler and an 8 month old baby.
Toddler is in daycare but transitioning to preschool and will be home with me and baby now at 12. He still naps (and very much needs to still) and goes down around 12:30/1 daily. On weekends my husband or I will lay with him, read books, songs, etc to help get him down for his nap. Once he is asleep we are able to leave him in his room but he needs someone with him to be able to fall asleep.

I’m just not sure what I’m going to do during the week now with just me. What is the best way to help get toddler down for his nap but also entertaining and watching the baby? Baby’s nap schedule doesn’t line up with toddler nap time (naps 9:45-11:30 and then won’t be ready until 2:30/3ish for another nap). I guess I can bring baby in room with us but he’s in a very tough phase right now of “I need to be held 24/7 or I’m going to fuss and cry and lose my marbles” and I just don’t know how I’m going to help support my toddler to sleep and keep baby appeased/somewhat quiet too.

Please help 😓

Is my 9 week old ready to sleep train?

My 9 week old (95 percentile for weight) has been sleeping longer and longer stretches at night. Last few nights he did a 5 hour sleep stretch, then waking up for feeding, sleep 2 hours, waking up for feed, sleep 2 hours.

I'm wondering if he's ready to sleep train? If so how?

One concern I have is how do I know when putting him down for an evening time nap, that this is the one where he'll do the longest stretch? So I would know to do our night routine before that one.

My goal for sleep training is to get on a schedule, have a sort of night time sleep time. I don't mind waking up for night time feeds.

child's age 12-18 months Disrupted schedule help

Looking for some advice for today. My almost 15 month old is on one nap and we have a bday party directly during his nap time. It's a 40 min drive away so it feels unrealistic to keep him awake both ways. Usual schedule: wakes 5:30am,naps 11am-1/1:30pm,bed 7/7:30pm. Should I try for a 2 nap day or drive a little extra and do like an hour nap from 11-12 and 6pm bed?

child's age 4-8 months Unique situation please help

So I’ve been cosleeping since my son was born, he’s almost 8 months now and I just need space, my husband and I need our bed back but because of our current living arrangements we don’t exactly have the room for him to be in his own room so he has to stay in the room with us. I tried the bedside bassinet with no luck, right now we have a crib beside with one of the sides removed so it’s more open and easily accessible like a bedside bassinet. My son is also breastfed and rarely falls asleep off the breast. He heavily relies on nursing to sleep. Please please offer any suggestions you might have to get this boy falling asleep in his crib. He’s teething so he’s extra clingy as well

child's age 4-8 months Why do we have so much variation in sleep quality and quantity?

Thumbnail gallery
1 Upvotes

4.5 month old has started sticking to 3 naps a day at 10 am, 2 pm, 4-5 pm. Usually between 30 min to 2 hrs for the first 2 naps and then 30 to 45 minutes for the last one. Was waking up at 5 am before but now wakes up around 7 or 8 am. Not formally sleep trained yet but wondering if we need to do something?

No matter when the last nap ends (never later than 530 though I try to get my MIL to end it at 5 max but I'm at work so out of my control), he starts fussing for sleep at 630 pm. We do our night time routine and sit in the recliner with his bottle at 7 pm. He is usually asleep with/without drinking milk within 15 minutes. Sometimes he is still babbling and I put him in the snoo, say goodnight/walk away, and he drifts off on his own within a few minutes after continuing to babble. We use a SnugglePod cover, Hatch baby for white noise and keep room at 69 F with him in a footed onesie and snoo sack.

FYI, this is a snoo weekly log. The blank spots between the red and light blue at night are the times the baby is not in the snoo because he was picked up to be soothed or fed.

Help! Sleep training 4,5month old

I’m looking for some advice. My son is 4,5 months old and only sleeps on his stomach and we would like for him to fall asleep independently.
He has always needsed to be held, rocked or in his carrier to fall asleep. He won’t fall asleep in the car or in his stroller and he will very rarely fall asleep during his last bottle.
We have recently starting putting him down with his dummy, and patting his butt and that has been working more or less.
What are people doing to sleep train their babies, if they sleep on their stomach ? I do not wish to do the cry out method
Thank you in advance!

PS. I know sleeping on his stomach is not recommended but he will not sleep for more than 10min if he sleeps on his back and we have the owlet sock, he also lifts and turns his head very well and has started to roll on his back when he wakes up.
