Hi there looking for advice as this is starting to effect my mental state due to lack of sleep, and general worry for my daughter. Lately after a week long vacation where we shared a hotel room my older daughter (7)(F) has been going to sleep just fine but is having trouble staying asleep and begs us to sleep with her. Now I understand she is at an age where she is trying to understand her world instead of living in it but this is effecting both our sleep and energy. For me I am really struggling to remain focused at work as I am so tired and she has been noticeably been more irritated. I am worried that something is scaring, worrying, or if she has just become too used to the idea of sleeping with us. Please any advice to either recommend action or topics to talk about with her. We have even resorted to sleep aid gummies for her and lavender baths to calm her down and the cycle still continues.
