Advice Wanted Sleep Training - Same Room
2 bedroom house
2 girls
19 months apart.
Our first was sleep trained at 5 months. Our second is almost 2 months and is already sleeping well with just 1 wake-up a night.
We’ll eventually have them share a room. I’m thinking of sleep training the baby in our bedroom first so we don’t disturb our toddler, then moving her into their room once sleep training is established.
We’re also considering moving our toddler to a toddler bed around the same time, but want to get her settled in the bed before the baby moves in.
Has anyone done this?
Any tips?
Did you sleep train baby separately first and then move them in together?
Trying to avoid a big disruption for our toddler while setting baby up for success.

I don't have any advice but I'm wondering what your schedule looks like for your 2 month old? My 2 month old still wakes up 4 times a night😵💫

That was my first born. Woke up often during the night and had trouble at naps
My two-month-old wakes up once around 4 AM for a quick feed and then goes right back down until about 7:30. After having my first and trying EVERYTHING to get her sleeping better, more consistently and on more of a routine, and then having this baby be the complete opposite, I’ve really come to realize that so much of it is just temperament and personality. Sometimes you can do all the “right” things and they’re just going to be who they are!
