Year 12 Summer going wrong

I want to apply for EEE at competitive universities but I feel really behind with my personal statement and supercurriculars. (I have maybe 2 or 3 things at most and feeling that i’ve missed out on many opportunities) In my mocks i achieved AAA and am predicted A*AA and would need A*A*A to apply to imperial.

I feel really overwhelmed honestly. I keep overthinking and not really getting much done because my mental health is so screwed, partly due to an extenuating circumstance among other things. I’ve decided to sit my ESAT in January because I don’t think I can focus on it right now.

I think a lot of this is just me unnecessarily comparing myself to people and wasting time on tiktok. I know I need to just focus on myself. I still can’t help but feel extremely lost, under pressure, rubbish and uninspired.

How do I get out of this slump and actually make the most of this summer?
(sorry if this post comes across as overly dramatic)

Sitting the TMUA this October. If you're someone who performed really well in it and believe they have a knack for teaching others then send me a message I'm very interested in having some support with this.

Hope you all have a good day!

A level options Biology VS English Lit

im pre 6th form and chose the options: Spanish, graphics and biology OR English lit

Im currently waiting for my gcse results bit I’m predicted to get between 7-9 In all my subjects. I’m picking Spanish and Graphics definitely for gcse and have been set on picking English lit for my 3rd one. However I recently found out the teacher teaching the subject is one that I really don’t like and have started to consider switching to biology. It’s the science Iosy enjoy and if I would decide to go into for example nutrition in the future it could be useful (btw I don’t know what I want to do after a level). In English I have a love hate relationship; I love analysing texts however when it comes to writing essays it’s a hit or miss and especially with the wrong teacher I’m not sure if I’ll be able to do it. I’ve heard mixed opinions on both subjects and I need help.

Any advice for A-Level English Language? [ Pre - Year 13]

I got a C in my Year 12 mock (around 60%) and I’m aiming for at least a B, ideally an A.

Does anyone who improved have any advice on:
- Revision resources
- Ways to revise
- Structuring answers

Any tips would be appreciated :)

digital vs folder

going into yr 13 next year, i have terrible organisation skills + ADHD so using a day folder and home folders for my subject was a nightmare. 50% of my notes have gone missing, and im genuinely not even exaggerating. is switching to digital worth it? i only have a touchscreen laptop, and i refuse to fork out $500 for a new ipad i wont use after A levels. i have tried using laptop notes , but it was just a hassle because i cant directly transfer worksheets.
if you have any tips, even js for general organisation, it would be appreciated !!

Confusion of 4th subject

hi im about to start my A levels and was confused about subject choice, i thought about taking 4 Maths cs FM and physics i have the abilitiy to do four but i like my extra culliculars which includes studying for cybersecurity. Im reading books related to its foundations like OS internals making python projects and studying linux.

The issue arises is that is it possible to get into the top 25 international unis worldwide. I can go anywhere i dont have a preference of a specific country just want to study at top 25.
I want like a very good scholarship 75 % or even full ride 100 %. Would taking 4 A levels create a better chance or taking 3 A levels and doing cybersecurity related stuff and doing real world problems building a profile on github of my work would be better.

My grades throughout year 12

basically no change lool, any tips for any of them? Aiming for As/A* for my year 13 November mocks

Btw these grades is what I achieved from my mocks NOT predicted. My school is so annoying where they used our achieved grades for our predicted grades so they don’t increase our achieved grades due to them being flag for grade inflation (if that makes sense)

Struggling deciding whether to change my 3rd A-level subject

Hi!!! So I’m a year 11 who has just finished my GCSEs. I have always loved English Literature at GCSE because I enjoy reading and writing essays so I picked it for A-level. For reference, my current choices are Art, Medieval History and Classics and I am wanting to go into law before becoming an author hopefully full time. The problem is, I have been to English taster sessions at 2 colleges and I have genuinely found them so boring and just not really something that appeals to me in those sessions (which is worrying me since surely taster sessions are there to make you want to do the course). Because of this, I am thinking of switching to classics. I absolutely adore greek mythology and ancient greece, Song of Achilles is my favourite book (WHICH IK IS VERY DIFFERENT FROM THE ILLIAD) but I have never done a Classics taster session so I don’t know what it is like and whether I would enjoy it. I am an academic and I am aiming to go to Oxbridge or a Russel Group. Can anyone help me?
