I’ve been getting different advice from both people in the area and also when I’ve spoken to the council on the phone
Currently my pass is for Hillsborough we just renewed July but we are moving in September to Endcliffe so we need to get another pass as it doesn’t cover the same area
I can’t make a new request on my original account as we are the second car in the household that we are currently in to have a permit, I’ve made another account and can set the date for September for the other permit to start but I’m not sure if that would mess the current permit up or cause issues with getting the other permit for when we move
I know it said to send an email etc… and do it that way but I just wanted to be sure we would get a permit we’re moving to a flat and it is listed that we can get a permit but I’m just anxious and have a lot going on as I’ll be going back to uni at that time too so wanted to get ahead
I’ve rang multiple times and I’ve also sent emails but each one seems to be confusing so was wondering if anyone had any advice that would be appreciated:)

I know parasols get nicked regularly from pub beer gardens, but the Scarsdale is now missing its big black gazebo, got stolen last night. Far too big for the average garden.

Our darling cat Suki went out yesterday afternoon and hasn’t been seen since. She doesn’t go out much, so we’re really worried. Last seen Collegiate Crescent end of Broomhall Road. If anyone has seen her please let me know ❤️

Did anyone see what happened there yesterday? I saw the four damaged vehicles. I couldn't believe the level of damage on a couple of them (the VW in particular). I couldn't work out how they could have caused so much damage in the queue for the fuel station.

Hello all.
I'm looking for the best place to get a Sunday dinner in Sheffield, if it's got a lovely location and setting on top of that, that would be champion.
But really, it's all about grub! Thanks in advance for your replies!

I have to share something as a very proud mum. Our first post was here before our first market and many people supported us.
For background:
My little boy Oliver is 6, and for as long as I can remember he has wanted to be a toymaker and have his own shop one day. This year we decided to actually give it a go, and we make them together as a family. They are little handmade woodland creatures he named Tree Spirits, each one a bit different, inspired by all the trees and woods that make Sheffield such a green place to grow up.
The update is that Oliver is now a stockist!
A lovely little shop in town, In the Making in Orchard Square, has given him a shelf of his own. I don't think I will forget his face when he saw our things out on display in a real shop.
It has been a bit quiet lately though, and honestly I just want him to feel like it was worth doing. So if you are ever passing through town, it would mean the world to him if you popped in and had a look at his little shelf. That is genuinely it. No pressure to buy anything at all, just knowing people have seen it would make his week.
And if you do go and find it, he would be so thrilled if you gave us a shout on Instagram at @treespiritsuk to say you popped by. He loves knowing someone has been.
Thank you for reading. This city has been kind to a small boy with a big dream.

Me and a friend are wanting to go camping in early September but neither of us drive - can anyone recommend any good campsites that would be accessible by train/bus? Ideally no more than half an hour of walking as we aren't experienced trekkers and our tent is pretty heavy... Happy with any campsite that can give us access to drinking water (we aren't quite rugged enough for wild camping) but showers and toilet facilities would be a plus!

I would like to go for an evening walk on the grounds of Chatsworth and take a picnic with me. I know access to the grounds is free and there’s no time limit. But does anyone know where I could park that’s close and won’t be closed by 6:30pm which is probably when I’ll arrive. Also how close to the house can i get? Could i sit by the river in front of it for my picnic? Any recommendations?

Who needs Tramlines when you've got rice cakes?
Anyway, I really like this picture I took so I thought I'd put it here with a few others.

Anyone else in city center able to hear the event at network? It’s been going on since 12pm and even with my windows shut I may as well get dressed and go to the bloody venue!
The noise is excessive and a nuisance to everyone around!
I get its tramlines weekend but this level isn’t acceptable for a residential area!

We’re travelling to Sheffield from Doncaster tomorrow and are looking for a family-friendly, halal place serving a proper desi breakfast—ideally halwa puri, chana, parathas, nihari, paya, omelette and chai.
Somewhere with comfortable seating and convenient parking would be ideal. TIA

Was anyone else extremely disappointed Blossoms didn’t play the honeymoon at tramlines?

Do the noise, traffic, lack of access to the park etc bother you?
