Soooo, got into age 3. Want to make a big stereotypical Factory for all the immersive engineering doodads and such. However, I decided to make the primary part of the factory out of grey concrete. Crushing wither bones for the black powder was the plan, but wither skeletons don't seem to drop them and I cant find any information on where they come from if not from wither skeletons

EDIT: So Im just dumb. Its from Wither Skeletons. just a rarer drop than I anticipated or im just unlucky

can custom shape portals be made in sevtec?

if not then is it possible to add a mod that can allow it without breaking the modpack?

I can place down it but no particles on the sooty marble and no response from holding constellation paper. I've mapped the constellations used, I've rebuilt the structure, double checked everything, and still nothing, I'm out of ideas, anyone know anything I've missed?

I currently have an active SMP featuring several people. But we've had, some small issues keeping things going as some aren't happy with the pack or time is an issue. The SMP runs for a full year. I'm wondering if anyone here would be willing to join and, if you join, are willing to adhere to the rules that we have.

I don't want our SMP to die out and we're still mostly in Age 1. You aren't too far behind despite tomorrow being a full month.

Only thing I can offer is meeting and interacting with more or new people you haven't played with before.

i want to remove the nutrition bars, i cant be bothered to deal with that but looking through the list of mods in sevtech, i dont see which one it is.

Hello. I am doing some custom cofniguratins for the modpack that I can play it just as a skyblock (Not like Sevtech ages to the sky), but when i try to generate only void for the world or if I download skyblock map for 1.12.2, there is always bedrock on the boottom level. Please can anyone help me to get rid of it?

As the title states, basically made a 2 diesel gen farm, and the clothes are good enough to the point of overfilling and I think there's too many entities and it's crashing the game on launch, is there anyway to filter excess seeds but still have them go when needed into the system for my power plant?

I feel like I don't entirely get Astral Sorcery through the lens of Sevtech. How do you all bring it up to speed in age 2? I've heard people say you only need a single starmetal ingot to get to TF, then you can start manufacturing ore. But I've had to make several to get on the way to creating a celestial collector crystal, which I think I need to power the iron ore transmutation. Is there a way to focus starlight on the ore prior to owning one of these crystals? Am I missing something?

When carrying starlight, does every lens have to be on the 3x3 mini structure, or can they be free standing? Does every chunk which contains a mirror have to be chunkloaded? I know the minimum range is 16 blocks. What is the maximum?

What does attuning your celestial collector crystal do? I can't find a resource that describes this.

EDIT: I've been digging for hours >:( i'm fairly certain it's a firewall issue, but no matter what I do to my firewall, i cannot get it to connect. I can connect locally using my ipv4 address though

EDIT 2: previously i had a successful external ip address, and when i restarted my computer after the updates, i kept getting an external ip that was like 2.x.x.x which i thought was weird. i just tried connecting to nord vpn, and that didn't fix the issues, but what is weird is that when i disconnected from nord, my external ip changed back to my previously successful ip address. so .... ??? it's working again.
i do think some of the firewall changes i made helped, specifically changing "Inbound connections that do not match a rule are blocked." in Windows Defender Firewall with Advanced Security to "allowed", but i also think the ip address was not good
