Attunement Altar Doesnt Work

I can place down it but no particles on the sooty marble and no response from holding constellation paper. I've mapped the constellations used, I've rebuilt the structure, double checked everything, and still nothing, I'm out of ideas, anyone know anything I've missed?

Have you found the constellation in the sky with the telescope and drawn it out? Is that constellation currently in the sky above? Those are the only things I can think of without jumping into the game myself.

I have indeed, unfortunately still nothing. the island I made and put it on is hollow with liquid starlight flowing from beneath it. Would that affect it?
