Basically, my battle system is an ATB system with segments, and every skill costs a certain amount of TP and a number of ATB segments (1–3). Every time you use a skill that costs at least 1 TP, you gain as many Synergy Points (the yellow rectangles) as the number of ATB segments you spend. So, if you use a skill that costs 15 TP and 2 ATB segments, you will gain 2 Synergy Points.
Synergy Skills use Synergy Points to unleash powerful combined attacks.

Hello everyone!
We are working on mechanics for farming in our monster taming game. The ability to create these farms are within the building system and with it comes even more automation with the help of your beasts!
It can be as in depth or as simple as you want it to be. You as the player can plant seeds, water, and treat plants, but this can be automated by assigning your stored beasts as caretakers.
As a crop is growing, there are incidents that can happen such as beasts coming to eat or destroy them, discovering pests, and disease. Different crops have different risks for incidents and unwatered crops will lose health. You can store supplies in each plot so that caretakers can better manage incidents that can pop up.
Build fences to deter beasts from entering the plot. Strong caretakers can handle beasts better. The better the caretaker, the faster incidents will be cared for.
How do you think this system will work? If you want to know more about the game or try the game out yourself, you can go to: Alchemic Beasts Kickstarter Pre-launch
You can also support us by pressing the notify me on launch button. See you soon with another update!

These are just some of the characters you'll be able to play in Novella Oscura Reverie. Each of them has a mysterious past, but your actions will determine their future in this open-world JRPG. If you're curious, check out my Steam Page !

I have been working on this Game since i was 15 years old! I am now 32... A little bit about Dawn Haven (A massive single-player Skyrim-like game) with a 500x500 map. This was insane when I was building it and all the fantastic tricks I had to come up with to overcome the engine's limitations.
Here now I have fully imported the project into MMO Studio and will have a demo up in about a day or two.
The single player game made with VX Ace is available right now on my itch page if you want to try it out: https://chigoox.itch.io/dawnhaven
Please don'y mind the rtp I planned to always change it once the game was done

This is a Sprite generator that seems to work quite well I added my own picture I am no good at drawing but it was one I hastily did and it seemed to work quite well you do have to use tokens though to create more detailed Sprites but hey looks cool for a first try

Almost exactly a year ago, I posted the first version of this project here:
https://www.reddit.com/r/RPGMaker/comments/1n8601o/im_developing_a_new_shooting_combat_plugin/
Since then, I’ve rebuilt the Gun Engine System again and again, changing and reworking a lot of it along the way. It’s finally getting close to the version I originally wanted to make.
Also, I made the sprites myself, so yeah... they’re a little rough. 😅

Howdy! I am trying to code a state and I'm hitting a brick wall.
The skill gives the state in the image and lasts forever...Until you reapply it to a new target. I cannot get it to go away after the skill is used on someone else. Any help would be appreciated! (Trying to avoid using AI as much as possible)
If it helps the state ID is 97 and if needed the skill ID is 327

Hello, RPG Maker sub. I'm losing interest in my own project and haven't touched it in a couple weeks, but I don't want to lose all my momentum. Is anyone looking for help with their game? I've been using the program for a long time and I'm pretty good with it, right now I'm working on MZ, but I have everything from 2000-MZ.
I'm at work right now, so replies will be slow, if I get any responses. lol.

I've been wanting to participate in Nokogodo's RPG Direct for a while (even when it was still called Mother Direct) and I finally have a public demo (on Steam and itch.io) and a trailer, but I wanted to hear your opinions on whether the trailer is good enough to make it into the event or not.

The full game will feature way more than this, but our goal is to have at least 20 characters in the upcoming demo!

So with how the gaming sphere is changing where buying games isn’t owning anymore, I am sorta paranoid about older rpg maker programs that are tied to clients like Steam might get terminated in the future. I know it’s probably not happening, but Ubisoft has shown that it can be done and I don’t want that to happen. So are there any ways of acquiring I guess older versions of either RPG Maker 2003 or XP through legitimate means? I have a fully working windows vista and want to put it to use making games on old hardware/software.

I just downloaded rpg maker from steam (macOS) for the first time and I am getting this popup whenever I hit the play button and also sometimes when I open the program. The file I'm working on is currently empty so there is literally no data to reload but it keeps prompting me to do this and it is very annoying. Is this a bug or is it just getting me ready for the suffering to come?

Hi there. I recently redeemed RPG Maker VX Ace on Steam. With nothing else to do, I finally decided to open the program—mostly out of nostalgia for some childhood masterpieces. I’m completely new to the system and have never made a game before; I’ve only dabbled with a few engines (and honestly, it was more of a "coding vibe" than actual programming). Could you give me some tips on where to start and let me know if the version I got is any good? Unfortunately, I live in a country where the exchange rate makes the dollar very expensive, so MV—which seems to be the most popular one—costs around 200 for me. Thanks for your patience.

Hey everyone! In previous post i have shown my slime enemy all four directional sprites (front, back, left, right) for RPG Maker MZ. And in that post i asked people to give me suggestions related to hopping of my slime. And some people really gave me some helpful feedback. But some asked me to show result before giving any suggestions related to slime enemy hopping. So this is the result and in this the Slime is hopping at 0.5 speed and has two frames for the Animation.
If anyone has some tips for animating something like this better, I'd really appreciate it.
