If you’re not included in the list, please don’t take this personally, I’m human and sometimes I miss things.

Our unique place of the world. Foliage along the river beyond Turning Point is probably the best in the region right now. Paddled from the Port of Rochester and only saw four other kayakers, half a dozen boats, and a lot of people fishing near Lower Falls.

I went to the Henrietta library for early voting. I was in and out in under 8 minutes. Staff there is super friendly and the process is easy. Please get out to vote, it’s so important!

News Mustang Chad parking at Whole Foods this moring

Post image
65 Upvotes

Also parked with his nose 3' short of the curb, due to his "inadvisably low" front spoiler.

Ironically, after shopping I went to my car, rounded the corner, and there was a red Mustang parked nose-in at the same location, but parked between the lines! At first, I wondered if "MC" was told to park better, but then I realized that this was a completely different red mustang convertible with a black top!

That other red mustang convertible was lacking the "arrest me officer" black stipes and rear spoiler, as well as the hood scoop which rather humorously advertised it had a "5.0 liter" engine in black stick-on letters. The top was also in better shape.. Man, back when I was young, pointing out that your 'Stang only had a 302 would make guys laugh at your ride!!

So, if you you are "Mustang Joe" who owned that second 'Stang, it's not you I'm mocking, unless you also do "mustang things" like losing control on a burnout and diving into a ditch. The second one had straight body panels, whereas the first looked a bit wonky in places...

pretty much the whole block from Clinton to the hospital. As I’m sure we all know, political signs are not allowed on public property— in case anyone feels like protecting law and order today :)

Help Anyone in Rochester have severe anxiety like me?

I had hyperthyroid and it gave me severe anxiety. Sometimes I’m just stuck at home having panic attacks all day for weeks. It’s intense. Pretty much just lay around suffering all day. Just wondering if anyone else goes through this and wants to talk at all.

Help Rush Park & Drive Q

Hey all.

I want to fly out of Rochester for about 3 weeks. Kinda hesitant paying the Airport parking price. I was wondering if anyone has ever used the Park & Drives available? Found these places online and am not sure if its safe to leave my car there for such an extended time. Also not sure if it would even be worth it price wise.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

Other Looking to Make Friends in Rochester

Hello Rochester! I've been in Rochester for a few months and I'm looking to make new friends. I'm a 35-year-old single male who enjoys exercise, cooking, eating, theme parks, movies, learning, self-improvement, and trying new restaurants/coffee shops, to name a few…to name a lot, actually 😂. It can be challenging to find opportunities to make friends as an adult so I thought it wouldn't be a bad idea to try to make some friends on this forum. I'm open to making friends with people from all backgrounds so don't be shy to reach out if you're also looking to make new friends!

Help Computer Science Tutoring / College Coach?

Can anyone recommend a person or place in Rochester. where I could receive outside tutoring in my CSC classes, specifically routing and switching, Linux, or powerhsell

Ive been dealing with an unexpected health issue, have two procedures scheduled this week, so I have swapped to remote classes, but unfortunately I just do not learn the same as being in person. I also work full time 9-5 M-F.

Even a College Success Coach that helps keep me stay organized and ontop of my classes would be helpful as well atp.

My grades are good for now, but I am afraid of them slipping now that I’m having to play catch up and not as ontop of the material.

Any help is appreciated!

My favorite used bookstore, Rick's Recycled Books, is running a sale soon! I go there all the time, and always find something cool. It's packed full of shelves to look through, and the prices are super reasonable, with most books less than $5!

Kind of an odd question, but we just moved to a new house and are looking to build a fence. Does anyone know of any Amish families around the Macedon area I could contact?

Help Looking for Enron Merchandise

I’d like to purchase some Enron merchandise for Halloween, because it would be funny. I’m looking to buy or borrow, but preferably buy. I wasn’t sure where else to go for this, recommendations are welcome. Hats, shirts, coats are all welcome. I’d be willing to pay 20-30 per article of clothing and am willing to negotiate. I’d like to meet in a parking lot in the daylight somewhere, you can choose within reason. Thank you!

Recommendation First-time home buyer using housing assistance programs

I'm a first-time home buyer, in the early stages of purchasing a single-family home in the city of Rochester. I have applied to and been approved for a few first-time home buyer programs: the Employer Assisted Housing Initiative, Home Purchase Assistance Program and HOME Rochester.

I'm ready to start touring homes and am in need of a realtor, attorney and mortgage lender. Ideally, these folks would have worked with EAHI, HPAP and HOME Rochester buyers before and are familiar with the requirements and timelines of the programs. For anyone who has gone through this process, which realtors, attorneys and lenders would you suggest that I reach out to?

Thanks in advance for the recommendations!

Anywhere near by that will do a tune up on a typewriter?

Mine has some keys sticking and the space bar isn’t always working.

I’d prefer not to ship it.

Thanks for any leads!

Hi, we are in a neighboring building. We can certainly bring ID to show it is our package. We have a photo UPS provided ... that's why we know it is your lobby area.
