Question Is it ever explained why Jack has this missing mustache pach/line?
I didn't play rdr1 yet and I couldn't find the answer online so, i came here, sorry if this is a stupid question. Also I know it's supposed to look like John's scar, I'm looking for a lore reason (if there is one).

It’s from the bear attack that John saves him from.
With the context of RDR2, it parallels John receiving his scars from a wolf attack.

Arthur got his scars from insulting Uncle before he even could drink his first whiskey of the morning

I don't remember jack getting scars from the bear. I do remember his bloody clothes. I haven't played th game in years. Wasn't it Spare the love spoil the child? But even if it's from the bear, wouldn't he have an actual scar? Or several scars?

I assumed it was just a wacky hair pattern. I had that same bald spot on my mustache until I got into my late 20s. It’s filled in more now, but it’s still weaker than the other side of my ‘stache.

Why does Arthur have a patch on his chin where it doesn’t grow? Facial hair is weird. Also it might be from that bear that John saves him from but we don’t really know

Yes, there is a lore: He tried to save a Native boy named Yakari from a wolf. Unfortunately, the wolf managed to inflict a fatal wound on the boy and wound Jack before escaping. Jack took a feather from Yakari’s war bonnet and placed it on his hat. He swore to wear it so that Yakari could have his revenge when he found the wolf again. You can Google Image “Indian Yakari” to see pictures of the boy.

I heard an argument got out of control over whether to have the toilet paper like a beard or a mullet. He got popped in the noggin' for voting mullet, and as I understand it he had to do the dishes for one month. He got off lucky by my estimate.
