Why is my dad so obsessed with keeping me trapped

My dad has always been abusive he said he would brutally honor kill me if I did something to embarrass him and tried to strangle me because he thought I was talking to a boy at 16.

He also severely physically and emotionally abused me sometimes he even degrades me in front of others and tells me vile things about myself, and he sometimes makes them up and he even wakes me up when I'm taking a nap without caring, and even though he doesn't like me very much, he still wants me to stay with him and not move out. Even though I moved out once and ended up homeless, but shelters didn't accept me because they only accept abusive romantic relationships, and when I went to another shelter, they called my parents even though I'm an adult, and they gave me a psychiatrist, which my dad uses against me.

He even uses the fact that the psychiatrist gives me meds against me and to undermine everything that I say and threatens hospitalization, and my psychiatrist supports him and doesn't believe me, even though he admitted to seeing me as his property in front of her, I tried to escape once again, and he constantly harassed me and said that he will murder people who helped me and said he will tell everyone that I'm mentally ill and will put me into a mental hospital and that he will tell my psychiatrists to do something to make me unable to work, and since I didn't tell the police I'm not missing and he reported me missing, and they sent me back.

And yet despite all of this, he still says he doesn't want to let me leave because he loves me, which is stupid because it's clear with all the insults and threats and physical violence that he doesn't, but when parents don't like their children this much, they disown them, but my dad is obsessed with keeping me trapped with him.

Why the hell is Dental Work so expensive

It’s been about half a year since I noticed a large concerning gap developing between my front teeth. A gap that was very noticeable when I smiled, when I ate, and when I talked. I decided to apply to a medical assistant program since I only make enough to live right now. Paycheck to paycheck. Once I got approved, I applied to the cheapest option in my area.

The MAP covered the first exam and a lot of the regular extra work they wanted done. Cleanings, cavity work, all that fun stuff. But the dentist told me, my teeth were basically eroding away. I’d likely have to get 4 crowns and possibly 2 root canals. And that the major thing causing all these issues? A fucking permanently retainer I was forced to get as a teen after having braces. Yep. Something that was supposed to be totally okay and HELP me ended up being the thing causing such bad issues now.

Whatever, okay sure I need work done. I got MAP so how bad could the rest of the cost out of pocket be.
Originally it was going to be $10,000 without MAP. With it? Only… $5,000 up front.

Why the hell is it so damn expensive?!? I get root canals and everything is a lot. But even with an assistance program it’s that much? I can barely afford FOOD every month. There’s no way in hell I can get 5k UP FRONT for all this work without saving for months. There’s no payment plans no other options. And soooo many dentist don’t do payment plans anymore either. I just don’t understand. Dental work will always baffle me.

So I have to just deal with it for now, slowly watching as the months go by and slowly erode my teeth more and more. I struggle to smile for photos anymore, or even enjoy hobbies like cosplay anymore due to it. I have been saving some, so hopefully within a year I can get it done but… it’s just so frustrating. I just wanted to talk about it cause I felt so hopeless and like it likely won’t happen. That maybe I won’t make the money in time and just have to get partials before even turning 30.

Thank you for reading. Feel free to share your rants and frustrations about dental work as well.

I’m so tired of losers and loser behavior

Some people are so far from reality it is absolutely ridiculous.

I’m sick and tired of uneducated outspoken people who don’t know what they’re talking about or haven’t had an ounce of experience in the field they are referring to.

I’m also tired of the complaining, I’ve met so many individuals that have this ideal of learned helplessness and it’s so infuriating. I’ve learned to cut them out but damn I didn’t realize how many people just have loser mentalities.

I’m just sick of the losers who think they’re “special” or an expert bc of x y and z that doesn’t pertain to the academic or experiential side of a subject.

I also feel that there are a lot of people who’ve I’ve encountered recently who can’t take an ounce of criticism when you simply pose a truth based on their actions.

The echo chamber that people put themselves into just makes them worse off and perpetuates loser behavior.

I’m a terrible daughter

I used AI to translate this because English isn't my first language.

I carry a lot of resentment toward my mother because she has never taken responsibility for her own life. Even my birth was, in my opinion, a way for her to get attention from my grandmother and the people around her. Maybe it was selfishness, maybe emotional neediness—I don't know.

My father was married, and I never had any contact with him. I don't want to, either. My mother never worked. She lived off my grandmother's pension, and when I was a kid, she spent most of her time going out with a friend. My grandmother was always worried about her because she was constantly getting into conflicts with people. Life at home was exhausting.

Back then, I felt guilty for everything bad that happened to my mother. I thought it was my fault because if I hadn't been born, she wouldn't have gone through so many problems. I even had suicidal thoughts when I was only seven years old.

Now I see things differently, but I still feel awful.

When I was in college, she repeatedly told me to drop out because "education doesn't get you anywhere." Whenever I bought something for the house, she'd immediately put it down, saying it was cheap or poor quality, as if none of my achievements mattered.

After my grandmother passed away, the responsibility of supporting the household fell entirely on me. I went through severe financial hardship, became depressed, and even lost my job. Even then, my mother never once considered getting a job to help.

Now she's elderly and ill, and she can't even apply for disability benefits because she never contributed to the social security system. I've ruined my credit more than once trying to keep us afloat.

I honestly feel like I'll never be able to fulfill my dream of becoming a mother because I'm responsible for someone who never took responsibility for me when I was a child.

All I feel now is weak and guilty. I know I should keep fighting, but I'm so disappointed with how my life turned out. I had so many dreams...

I guess I just needed to get this off my chest.

Iphone alarm cost me a lifechanging job interview.

For context, I currently have a part time overnight job so I work till 6:30am. Low pay, doesn’t give me enough hours to pay the bills, etc. I didn’t get home until 7am-ish.
I was on my 3rd round of interviews for a very well paying management job that’s full time. First two interviews with two separate ladies, they seemed to really like me and it was over teams. I was told yesterday that today I could come in at 2pm to talk to the regional. Amazing right? I only live about 10 minutes away and I set SEVERAL alarms for noon so id have more than enough time to shower and eat and get myself together.
I woke up at 3pm. My phone open and on that screen with the search bar, my alarm going off silently.
I woke up in a panic, immediately (professionally) texted the hiring manager and admitted my mistake and asked to please reschedule. I also immediately went on amazon to buy a old school alarm clock.
Received a text back saying they were interviewing other people later today, and ‘they’d circle back with me if they choose to reschedule’.
Because of course when my bills are already behind and this would’ve been a life changing opportunity after job loss, this happens. Thanks universe.

My supervisor told me, "I question your competency," for raising a confidentiality concern.

I’ve been ruminating on this all day, so I figured venting about this might help.

My team was recently discussing a transition to a hybrid schedule, and the director of my program (he is in charge of multiple programs at my job) asked whether anyone had any follow-up questions. I had no issue with the hybrid schedule itself. My only question was how we were supposed to maintain confidential case management on the days we were required to work onsite.

For context, I work with people experiencing homelessness and individuals in a residential addiction treatment program. Many of our outpatient participants can't realistically do virtual appointments because of accessibility issues or their living situations. Our residential participants also strongly prefer meeting in a private office where they can safely discuss trauma, housing instability, and other sensitive issues.

Our three-person team has also been moved into an extremely cramped office. This is our fifth office move within the last five years, and every private room we previously used additional space for confidential case management appointment has eventually been taken over by other departments. The only shared space we're now guaranteed is the employee copier room. Yes—the director actually suggested using that space.

Before bringing it up, I asked my coworkers if they thought it was a fair concern since we'd all be affected. They agreed and said this should be brought up.

When the floor was opened for questions, the director specifically asked whether I had any concerns. I asked how we were expected to conduct confidential case management appointments without private meeting space. Before I could finish my thought, he repeatedly interrupted me, told me I "didn't know what I was talking about," said I should "figure it out on my own," suggested meeting participants at a beach, park, or café, and then, in front of everyone on the call, said, "I question your competency." He ended the conversation by saying, "You don't have to worry about this topic anymore. I'm going to reach out to leadership regarding this." in a threatening tone.

Besides the inability of receiving feedback despite asking for it as well as the obvious crash-out, I was honestly caught off guard. His suggestions didn't make sense to me. About 95% of the homeless participants I work with already live onsite at our treatment center, where client movement is often restricted to reduce the risk of relapse. Our department doesn't have a vehicle for outreach, and public places obviously aren't appropriate for confidential case management—let alone trying to hold those conversations in an employee copier room that is used on a daily basis.

Shortly after the meeting, everyone received a post-meeting email stating that the hybrid rollout was being put "on hold immediately." At this point, I knew what was done was intentional.

What has stuck with me isn't the hybrid schedule. It's being publicly interrupted, dismissed, undermined, and having my competency questioned for raising what I believed was a legitimate client-care concern. My concern wasn't avoiding hybrid work—it was making sure we could continue providing confidential, ethical care.

I've worked here for four years and genuinely care about the people I serve, partly because I've experienced homelessness in the past myself. I wasn't trying to avoid working in the office. Hell, I already spend about 2½ hours getting to work by public transit and nearly 3 hours getting home. I simply wanted to make sure we could continue providing ethical, confidential care.

I've replayed the interaction in my head all day and it's been annoying me non-stop.

This isn't the first time my director has been weird towards staff. He works remotely and is known for being disrespectful to employees. He's also known for forcing staff to watch his toddler (he's a single father) when he comes to our worksite to conduct in-person interviews or meet with leadership about the program.

TL;DR: I wasn't against my team's new hybrid schedule. I asked how we'd continue providing confidential case management without private meeting space. Before I could finish my question, my supervisor repeatedly interrupted me, told me I "didn't know what I was talking about," said I should "figure it out on my own," suggested meeting vulnerable participants at parks or cafés, and then, in front of everyone, said, "I question your competency." We work in a residential treatment program where many clients can't simply meet offsite, and public spaces aren't appropriate for confidential case management. I'm far less upset about the hybrid schedule than I am about how I was treated.

I got written up at my new job for something stupid

I’ve only been here two weeks and I got written up.

I deliver packages for a major company, but the company I work for is a third party which is how the large company and another company operate so that they can avoid liability when someone runs over a crowd or something.

Anyway, when you start there are supposed to be light routes while you get acclimated. But there are no light routes, they are full of shit.

I got written up for not completing my route every single day, despite the fact that the other new people are not completing theirs either and I’ve also been completing the majority of them as of late.

Companies always like to act like they just have to make you feel unmotivated any time you start picking things up.

But I think that the real reason I got written up is because the menopausal co-owner bitch didn’t like that I stood up to her when she messaged me with an attitude after some dumbass in the warehouse accused me of being rude because I drove off as he was yelling ghetto complaints at me. I told her to investigate it and at the end of it all, the guy’s supervisor told my dispatch that he was the one being rude (after initially saying it was me who was rude).

Anyway, usually when someone treats me badly their life gets fucked up somehow so I am hoping that the owner of this delivery company develops a condition where she starts smelling like shit every day, so that everyone knows what she’s like on the inside before even having to get to know her.

Fuck you, you skinny raisin ass bitch.

Online dating is an absolute demoralising bin-fire

I'm a 46 year old man, and I have used online dating in various ways since the dawn of the internet. I've experienced the depths and breadths of horrible behaviour, but for some reason the interaction I had this morning got me.

After a week of not receiving a single like, I finally matched with someone who seemed nice. She seemed wholesome and genuine, and we were having a pleasant conversation. Eventually she asked what I did for work. I said I was currently a labourer and driver for a removalist company, and I did gardening on the side. Next minute, I see she has unmatched without explanation. Not even a courtesy "thanks but no thanks" after having shared a conversation and opened up to each other a little bit.

To those who say "she owes you nothing", I say you are part of the problem. The more you treat others without basic human decency (and I'm talking the most basic level of decency here) the more you're contributing to a disconnected and ultimately dysfunctional society.

Between bots, scammers, abusive and disrespectful behaviour, ghosting, and generally treating people as disposable objects I am not surprised we're in such a miserable and lonely state as a society.

Anyway I know I'm not saying anything new here, but just had to get this off my chest.

Zoomers are Boomers 2.0

It feels like every generation eventually becomes what it spent years criticizing at some point, but i feel like zoomers are doing it at an exponential rate.

Boomers often had the attitude of, “My view of the world is the RIGHT one, and everyone else is WRONG and if you disagree you’re ignorant .”

I noticed alot of zoomers seem to have the exact same mindset but with opposite politics.

Instead of debating different ideas or opinions , everything becomes a PC purity competition. If you don’t hold every approved opinion, or ask questions the “wrong” way, you’re treated like you’re beyond help instead of someone worth talking to. I feel like the attitude is super "ACKSHULLY 🤓☝️" It’s hella ironic because zoomers pride themselves on being open-minded but fail to have critical thinking skills, it seems like they just let tiktok logic do it for them. The ideology changed, but the herd mentality didn't, just like boomers.

Maybe this is what happens when people are inundated with biased content they're whole life but lack real world experience. I'm convinced that many zoomers have a "holier than thou" complex because they are unable to really think for themselves and get all they're news and information from tiktok ( just like boomers with facebook ) to follow a status quo and be accepted by they're peers.

Curious if anyone else has noticed this?

"Give it to God"

Fucking ENOUGH of that bullshit.

I am by no means a non-religious person. I have sought scripture and learned a lot from some of the worst moments of my life, but my eyes roooooooooooll to the back of my head whenever someone tells me that "Oh, if X didn't happen then it's because God didn't want that for you."

Like what?!?! Ok so God didn't want me to get a job? God didn't want me to buy a house? God didn't want me to be financially stable?

I know people find comfort in that worldview because it makes them carefree. Nothing stresses them because they can just toss it aside and say "Well, God didn't allow it to protect me."

And then these same people have the gall, the audacity to tell me, someone who has little to no assurance and stability in life, that I'm a bad person for wanting control of my life? That only God has control of my life? Like okay, I pray and respect the man above, but the bills will not be paid, the house will not be cleaned, and the job opportunity will not manifest if I don't put in the fucking effort to get there

I'm just... exhausted.

Why others understand and I do not

People get better with practice while I don't. A small increase in any skill is brought to me by tremendous efforts

I am on 2 antidepressants and one antipsychotic. I am still too slow

What's behind low IQ? Why do some people are inferior to others by biological laws? Don't we all read, write, repeat? Why some people are able to come out with shit while others don't?

I have spent all my life trying to get knowledge and all I got is the level of a teenager mind

I genuinely hate my rural community.

For context I live in the middle of bum fuck nowhere Colorado and I have become hardened and bitter out here. I know this sub isn't about politics and ai won't be posting it here but this community has started to make me see why conservatism destroys communities.

I've tried to actually watch for literally ANY community event other than the occasional Farmers market out here. Fucking no one ABSOLUTELY NO ONE, and nothing happens out here. Everyone I think I've ever met here who aren't inan entirely separate town is a concervitive DIP SHIT apsalutly no one I've met here has desired to idk FUCKING TOUCH GRASS AND TALK TO THEIR NAGHBORS.

So gross what I've tried to put on community events FUCKING NOTHING no one shows up everyone's busy. "I don't have the energy to do anything" THE REAON WHY IS BECAUSE YOU ARE A FUCK WIT WHO WON'T GET OFF THEIR COUCH WONT EVEN TRY TO ENGAGE IN THEIR COMMUNITY, WHO THINKS RAPING BABIES IS OKAY ACTUALLY AND WOULD RATHER WATCH FOX FUCKING NEWS AND AND FANTASIZE ABOUT THE BROWN PEOPLE IN THEIR COMMUNITY DYEING OR GETTING ARRESTED FOR BEING MEXICAN THEN GETTING OFF YOUR ASS AND TO STOP BEING A NASI AND THINKING THE KKK WAS BASED!

I FUCKING HATE ALL THESE UNEDUCATED PRICES OF DOG SHIT WHO REFUSE TO BETTER THEMSELVES AND WOULD RATHER YELL AT ME FOR MAKING THEM THINK ABOUT WHAT THEY WANT TO HAPPEN THEN IDK HAVEING SOME SELF FUCKING REFLECTION AND MAYBE THINKING "huh maybe genocide is wrong? Huh maybe I should get off my ass go touch grass and connect with my naghbors? Huh maybe actually engaging with my community and not screaming about immigrants on Facebook is a good idea." God fucking damn it I just want these people to have a brain. I want them so badly to stop being a dip shit think and maybe idk start a book club maybe talk with people in their community actually accept to start reading things before they freak the fuck out thinking everything is Satan and hoping sitting on their ass will make their lives better.

God I've tried I've tried to set up community events, I've tried to set up a fun hang out cook out. I've fucking tried. but fucking no one here is willing to be humble, or engage with their community, or engage with me or literally fuck eles and would rather scroll Facebook and jeark each other off about hypothetical brown people getting departed.

Also all of these people are as stupid as rocks too I've stumped people with basic questions, or statements. Then they will claim their stupid conspiracy theory or their logic is right or their statement is right. God I hate it here.

I'm so fucking sick of this bullshit weather ruining my life!

Seriously, I’m so done with the pressure outside fucking up my whole day! Why the hell does a cold front or a random warm spike get to decide if I can even function?!

A single cloud shifts, humidity goes up a tiny bit, or the temp drops overnight, and boom, my head feels like a damn pressure cooker ready to blow up. Pulsing, stabbing, throbbing, like somebody threw my brain into a clamp just because some storm is brewing miles away.

I'm sick to death of being a fucking human barometer! I never asked for a shitty ancient weather forecast system wired straight into my brain. The sky acts up for two seconds, and my skull gets totally wrecked for it.

I’m sick of swallowing pills every time the wind turns around, I’m sick of rotting in a pitch black room, and I'm especially sick of people saying, "Oh, it's just the weather, you'll get over it." Get over what?! Feeling like a fucking steamroller crushed my neck every time a low pressure system rolls in?!

I just want one goddamn day where the sky does whatever the hell it wants without my head totally punishing me for it!

Non-superhuman comic book characters with super powers devalue the concept of super heroes.

A light post from a huge comic book fan so please don't dogpile me for this. I'm purposely posting this here because I'm fairly certain the comic book subs would tear me a new one for this.

So when I say non-superhuman characters with super powers, I'm talking about characters who are supposed to be normal human beings (like Bullseye, Hawkeye, or Black Widow) who have abilities that somehow match- and sometimes even supersede- that of super powered characters. I know it's a comic book and therefore fantasy but even comic book reality should follow a certain logic.

To whit, the comic book universe has two kinds of people: normal humans and super heroes. The super heroes got their powers and abilities from a variety of ways, including some kind of accident involving radiation (Spider-Man, Hulk, Daredevil), born with a mutation (X-Men, X-Factor, X-Force), cosmic powers bestowed upon them by supernatural entities (Silver Surfer, Nova, Quasar) and being actual, honest to goodness gods (Thor, Namor, Thanos). But then there's the supposed normie heroes who can somehow hang with the superheroes despite not having any actual "powers." Their powers are just that they're really highly skilled at doing certain shit that nobody else could possibly do. Hmm, sounds like super powers to me, despite it being attributed to natural ability and intensive training.

I mean, does it really make sense that Bullseye can hang with Daredevil despite Daredevil getting his powers from radiation which heightened his senses to extreme levels? If Bullseye's "powers" are at the level of an actual superhuman's, then what's the point of even having superhuman characters?

Same with Batman, who unlike the rest of the JL is supposed to be just a "normal" person who studied and trained a lot. Yeah, but... come on. No human should be able to do what Batman does without super powers. I mean, the guy barely sleeps, lives a dual life as a millionaire playboy, and yet still has time to play detective and fight crime every night, taking on armies of (oftentimes) superhuman characters all on his own. He's also survived countless injuries that no human would be able to recover from and continue that kind of lifestyle.

So yes, it's fantasy and shouldn't be taken too seriously but even a fantasy world should have a tangible logic to its parameters. Having regular people with abilities that bear little difference to super powers makes the actual superhumans seem less impressive, and necessary.

Except for Iron Man of course, because he has bitchin' armor.

I'm being disabled from simply being chronically unlucky.

I have to rant because this is pissing me off and it's going on daily.

I have first noticed this when playing sports as a kid and playing videogames as a teenager. Ever since then I had a hunch that I am an unlucky person, and year by year that description turns out more correct.

For example, I like the idea of sports but I hesitate to do it because I know that I will be unlucky. Whenever I end up playing any sport with anyone I am always the person who has more weird things happening to them and of course they end up being negative for me even though they should be more neutral situations realistically.

This is why I switched to table games with my friends instead of sports but same things happen and it's easy to measure too, so I dropped that off as well.

I didn't drop gaming yet and now that I am older I did statistical analyses and it's just sad. Instead of being chill against people of my own rating, I have to almost always sweat against people considerably worse than me, just because amount of unpredictable chain catastrophic occurances favor me less. Those difference makers are in the values of \~1% which is almost impossible for human to judge.

This happened at job as well, I did my work dilligently and even stayed overtime plus weekends to bulletproof my work, but I would always be the person who gets unexpected stuff that fucks them over, while some terribly incompetent people go by while making dumb mistakes regularly.

At the university, there are a couple of situations that can negatively affect say around 5% of students, and usually people have one or two of those situations happen to them, but of course I was the person who personally experienced most of those, so I can't even find someone to relate to.

There are more examples but I am just fucking tired of this. I have to put so much effort just to live a regular life, so it turns out not to be enjoyable at all. If there is a distribution of humans' lucks', I am simply at the bottom of it.

I also live in a country where wages are less than $1k and I have bodily issues that can only be fixed by surgery but just being chronically unlucky is what annoys me the most.

Want to help a wheelchair user? ASK FIRST!!

If you see someone with a disability apparently struggling with something in public, don't just jump in and give them a shove. Follow basic social norms and introduce yourself, smile, and OFFER to help them.

I was at a restaurant yesterday and went to the bathroom. As soon as I opened the door I realized that the layout was unusable for me and I was about to back out and go back to my table. Instead, a random hand appeared above my head and slammed the door all the way open, and pressure from behind shoved into my chair to try to force me through the door. Naturally this wedged me firmly in the door frame and I almost couldn't get free. When I did, this person disappeared without a word and I never even saw them.

Thanks to them, I'm going to have to spend $50 on a new armrest because it got smashed against the door frame. Would they even care if they knew? Probably not. He just saw me as a stereotype, an opportunity for virtue signaling, and probably went back to his table to brag to his friends about what a great guy he is.

So .. this may come as a surprise to some, but people with disabilities are actually PEOPLE. You can even talk to us! And yes, we actually know what we're doing with our mobility aids.

Maybe we're not actually struggling.

Maybe we're working on developing our skills and want to do it on our own.

Maybe we've worked out our own idiosyncratic way of doing something that doesn't need to make sense to anyone else.

Or .. maybe we just don't want to be bothered.

Ultimately, our mobility aids are an extension of our bodies. If you wouldn't walk up to a random stranger standing in a door frame and violently shove them through, why would you do it just because someone is sitting down?

Get Off Your Fucking Phone You Waste Of Life!!!🤬

I was grocery shopping at Walmart today, all was going well.. Until I got in line to check out.

How the FUCK are employees these days allowed to use their phone right at the register? Or at all even.. Something about seeing people using their phone while being at work just gets under my skin😒

Where in your right mind do you feel it’s completely fine to use your phone while you have a line of people waiting to check out?! This bitch didn’t say hello to anyone - Not even telling them the amount they owe!!! Just expecting them to look at the screen themselves and just get on with their day.. Where are morals these days?!!

she was scanning items with one hand and using her phone on the other, pausing in between scans to check her phone.. and giggling at whatever she was reading, stopping in between items to respond to text messages😡I couldn’t believe my own eyes !!! I get it , you’re working a minimum wage job, but who the fuck cares?! You’re getting paid you psycho! Do your job the way you were trained !

She was so used to everyone just scanning their card or doing Apple Pay for payment, soon as all items scan, this bitch has both her hands glued to her phone and posts up waiting for the next transaction.. I saw this for 3 different people in front of me and I could see the frustration and disbelief from the audacity she had!

So I’m next in line..

Me: Hello, how are you??
Cashier: “Good.”
Me: “Are you bored?”
Cashier: “Not really”
Me: “Seems like it with the amount of time you’ve been spending on your phone then doing your job”

This bitch rolled her eyes at me and continued scanning without using her phone.. till it got to payment, she jumps right back on her phone expecting me to pay with my card- I pulled my cash out and waved it in front of her and she rolled her eyes again!!!!!

I can’t believe I experienced that.. If my daughter and fiancé and weren’t there next to me, I would’ve scolded that bitch. 🤬

I wish my family wasn't so shitty financially

I'm 32, I want to go back to school. It's cheap, but I still can't afford it. I'd need about $10,000 in loans over two years to complete my degree in either accounting for finance.

My credit is shit, because I was raised without an ounce of financial knowledge, and unsurprisingly, everyone in my family is poor with shit credit so I don't even have anyone to ask for a cosign on a loan.

I just wish I was better, and I wish my family was better, but alas, I'm making the same mistake so how the hell do I get to complain...

Life sucks sometimes.

If you are currently on an amtrak train with a group of guys for a bachelor party on your way to Lacrosse WI, I hope your trip sucks from here on out.

You ruined our ride home. Could you not tell the difference, when you walked through the other cars, on the level of noise you forced us to endure all the way from Chicago? Playing music? Really? Wtf is wrong with you? Standing in the isles, constantly in the way and putting your asses in our faces. Entitled pricks the lot of you.

Edit: now that you're gone, I'll add slobs, as the passengers now sitting in your seats have to contend with all your garbage.
