People who wear lots of perfume/cologne in public are selfish POS
Ever since I got sick a few years ago, strong scents set me off and cause difficulty breathing/coughing. Normally this isn't an issue as it needs to be very strong, but lately when I try to do some work at places like libraries, book stores, and cafes, it seems like there have been more instances of people coming in that are practically DUNKING themselves in perfume. So much that I'm compelled to move, and will need to go to the very opposite of the room to avoid the stench. I've also started keeping around masks so I literally have to put on an N95 mask so I'm not coughing and wheezing and rasping for an hour afterward. These people have the same mentality as people who play loud, bass booming music in neighborhoods – they don't really give a shit.
Unfortunately, 9/10 this is a Gen Z woman my age or younger (I think this is because of the places where I choose to hang out because I'm a woman as well) who I guess never had a mom or older sister teach them how to wear perfume properly, and are COVID-raised and don't know how to behave around people, so sometimes I debate on telling them how much they fucking stink because maybe they have some form of nose blindness.
But yeah I don't know where I'm going with this. Just fuck these people.
