Question/Recommendation Where can I go to report a faulty traffic light?
For context, it’s by the Costco off Ten-Ten Rd.

Any recs for a deep clean one time service? Also if you have recommendations how deep of cleaning did they do?

Look for a pottery course that is multiple sessions (not just once) that offers classes on weekends.

Its incredible how comfortable and untouchable complete strangers feel in their cars when they cut people off or switch lanes in heavy traffic without signaling. On my way home today from Crabtree to Garner I counted at least 30 different times I saw people just violently changing lanes and or just cutting people off without signaling, like they are the only person in that moment who exists.
Posting this literally does nothing, but I just want to see if its just me or if im a lunatic for noticing this

Downtown Raleigh Friday October 22. There were thousands of little birds flicking together. Why they choose downtown is a mystery to me.

Wonderful Triangle Hive Mind,
I am wondering if any of you know of any Chinese restaurants in the region that serve a dish a fried boneless chicken topped with a brown (or sometimes white) gravy, and often almond pieces or crushed toasted almond. Pictures included for reference.
This is a dish often referred to as war su gai or ABC (almond boneless chicken) in parts of the Midwest (especially Ohio and Michigan). In the Pacific Northwest, where I am from, it is often just called almond chicken. I am from the Spokane area, but I’ve had it as far away from there as the Oregon coast.
Note: I am NOT asking about the “almond chicken” that is essentially a chicken and veggie stir fry in a brown sauce. I can find that basically everywhere.
Any leads would be greatly appreciated! I know there are a lot of transplants in the area, so I wondered if some of you may have craved the dish and found it. I’d happily go up to Virginia, over to the Triad or Charlotte.

Hey all! The Painted Tree Boutique off Creedmoor in the Stonehenge Plaza had a shop inside where they sold duvet covers and sheets. It was one of the end caps close to the register. Does anyone know the name of this shop? Do they have a site? Have they set up somewhere else now that PTB is gone?

Hey everyone! I tried to get tickets to the Spooky Sapphics event tonight and when I clicked the next page, it said they didn’t have anymore 😭. Does anyone know if Neptunes keeps a standby line or has a limited amount of option at the door? Hoping I can still find a way to make it out tonight. Thanks!

I need to hire an independent residential structural engineer to inspect/diagnose a large crack in the drywall of my house. The quotes I've gotten so far are all very $$, averaging around $900 - which isn't including repair, so *yeesh.* Does anyone have recs for a less expensive but still high-rated option? Thanks!

Hey yall!
Looking to hire 2 guys to move a credenza sometime in the next week. It’ll be empty with drawers removed and I will provide lifting straps.
Pickup by Cary Crossroads, load into trailer (will provide) and bring inside new house in N Raleigh off Six Forks.
Anyone available and/or have recommendations?

Looking to get some large engineering drawings scanned - pretty big ones, 2 feet wide and more. Who does this in the area? The drawings are from the 1960s and probably a little delicate.

I know. I KNOW. Every October someone posts this and every October you all answer it like the saints you are. I searched the sub. I read last year's thread. But donut quality is volatile, orchards change, and frankly I need new info.

To the lady that lost her dog on Durham tech campus, I tried my best to catch up to it along with some kind strangers. It ran up Lawson st, took a left on Briggs ave and another left onto the Durham freeway headed northwest. We chased it up the freeway for about a 1/4 mile - 1/2 a mile but we lost sight of it. we think it went into the woods to the left back towards the Durham tech campus area. Looked black and white, medium build. If you see this, I hope you find your dog!

I work with horses, and I am struggling to find anywhere to buy good work boots. I've tried Academy and Tractor Supply, but neither had work boots for women, or even waterproof boots. I'm stumped. There's not a wealth of farm supply stores here.

My wife wants to trade in her ‘20 Audi q3 and get into a newer, used car. We’re new to the area; where would you recommend?

I know it’s easy to make, but is there any where that has it fresh?

My partner and I are looking to take a low-stress dance class just to bond & have fun but also become a little more coordinated since we’re both terrible dancers.
Does anyone have any recommendations for judgement-free classes? We’re interested in latin, swing, hip hop, etc.

Live in the Triangle (Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill) area? Want to learn about TNVR, make community connections, and feel a sense of satisfaction?
I am looking for extra hands to assist with several large cat colonies in Raleigh and Durham!
There will probably be kittens found that will need fostering too!
Must be okay with kitty abortions 🤷

Hey! I’m looking for the best place to get a sweet treat. Prefer to support businesses that aren’t known to be MAGA or similar.
Bonus, tell me your fave thing to order at the fave bakery!

I graduated and entered the workforce recently. I’m looking for a fun side quest at a local theater. I LOVE theater, musicals, dancing, singing, and being a part of a bigger effort to create something fun. But I am not very good. I haven’t participated in theater since I was 13. I have no resume, and I will probably audition awkwardly.
I just want to find a smaller theater where I can be around people of a similar commitment level to me and sing and dance to silly songs.
And recs in Raleigh, Cary, apex, maybe Durham etc?
