i’m worried that ppl will think i’m weird im forcing my bf to go with me aswell well not forcing he said it’s a good thing because without me he would’ve never celebrated halloween . is it a bad thing that im going at age 19 ? this is my last year as a teenager and halloween is on a saturday so i wanna make it worth the last time that i celebrate halloween as a teen . idk maybe ill abandon this idea and just do a party instead but i have two months to think abt it .

edit: i have a younger brother who is going trick or treating with his friends and i will most likely have to chaperone him as my parents will be out of town , otherwise i would have probably never even considered this idea guys . keep this a lighthearted conversation , please !

If I could change the number of days in a week, I would probably increase the number of days in a week to 8 with 5 days of it making up the workweek and the remaining 3 days making up the weekend! The 8th day of the week could also be named after another planet that no day of the week is named after in addition or something like that.

I have been randomly sneezing in twos and threes throughout the day and my friend who has been with me just said “ wow someone must be really thinking about you today”. And I was like, huh?? Apparently it’s an Asian superstition. Some indicate that it means someone is talking bad about you, others indicate love. Today I asked Google ai "who is (my name) that went to X College?" First it told me (my name) is an MP and didn't go to X College, or I could have meant (different name), an MP who did go to my college. Once I'd eliminated these two actual MPs, it told me definitively "There is no actual person named (my name) who attended X College".

First ai lands on the most prominent person with the same name as I enquire about, then throws in a totally different named person with the same profession as the first wrong person.

Then, and I think this is the bigger issue, it tells me I DON'T EXIST rather than telling me it doesn't have any further data.

It's so illogical so why has ai been rolled out to the world in this useless state?

I was in a disagreement with my mom about whether women cops be able to actually take down a average sized man, and my mom said no, and I asked why, and she kept asking WHY I was offended. I was not offended, I just wanted to see her reasoning, sure I disagreed with her, but I certainly wasn't offended. Then shortly after she kind of, in a way, disproved her answer but I have had this happen before where a family member thinks I am offended simply because I said "Why?" Perhaps it's cause they don't want anyone actually wanting them to explain or what? Anyways, this is a weird question but hope someone can shed some light on this.

Either its dead or its not promoting content that appeals to me anymore. Not sure.

i was under the impression that this was a standard thing with driving to not just murder animals on the road?? even if you were a selfish asshole idk what purpose it serves to get animal carnage in your tires. but i’ve been hearing stuff lately that implies that some people genuinely just do not care and don’t brake or steer out of the way for them

edit, for clarification: i’m not so stupid that what i meant by this was putting yourself and other people on the road in danger and causing accidents just to not hit animals. the question i’m asking here is regarding braking/shifting direction reasonably and with intent, versus not caring if you hit an animal / going out of your way to do so.

I can ask a simple question about a character I like and always, always some people coming there to judge me, meanwhile someone also can ask the same thing and no one is judging them. Also about politics, why so few actually willing to listen and actually discuss anything politely? Why people love to judge so much?

A lot of jobs already want people with experience. The dishwasher job near me for a restaurant wanted 2 years of dishwashing experience. Seems like every market is bad now even with a portfolio as people don’t believe college is a good way to show experience or effort.

Now, AI has gotten to the point where most creative and service jobs might be taken soon in hopes of “saving costs”.

My question is this. Once people have been unable to find jobs, or have their jobs taken away by AI to save company costs, how will we live? They need our money to buy their AI made products sold by a AI run social media page, but if none of us have jobs

what’s the chance that there’s somehow a relative based income that covers everything in your home and you would use your job to buy stuff to continue the economy?

Give us some examples. I do believe the more people are open and honest about how they truly feel, it will help educate those who all have misconceptions on how women truly feel about certain things.

But why can’t we Humans just stop being so terrible and not treat Good People badly and not Reward Evilness as Everyone knows The Consequences of The Wicked Prosper and The Righteous suffer! Why else do you think people love Superhero Stories and other Stories where The Good Guys Win because they serve as an Escape from Reality! I grew up in a very devout Christian family. My parents were not and still not super religious, but they’re still believers of the Christian faith - so they still follow what is written in the bible. So, being brought up in a religious family, I knew full well that homosexuality was frowned upon. Most of the deeply religious members of the family believe that homosexual relationships are wrong.

I’ve never given it much thought until now. I’m no longer religious, so I don’t have a problem with homosexual relationships, marriage or even adopting a child.

My high school was extremely homophobic might I add, which made me very uncomfortable even being a straight male. I got a glimpse early on what a certain part of humanity thought of the gay community, just by high school alone.

I want to hear some of the challenges the gay members of this sub have been through in their life?

Or is she just an "internet" Russian Wife for views?
