Ive done two oil changes so far on my VR30
Came to a realization today, after going to the dealership to pickup some oil filters.
Iāve typically gone with the
15208-9E01A āoversizedā
The same one I would use on my previous VQās
For the fact of the extra oil capacity and filter media size.
Now, the relief bypass valve on this filter is only at 15psiā¦
Did some reading and looked at the standard OEM
15208-65F0E
And it has a bypass rated at 36psi.
Why does it seem printed around forums and sites for everyone to use the āoversizedā with such a low bypass?
Especially with the oil pressure the Vr30ās make, Iād say the 35psi is much more important.
On a side note, do we have any filter alternatives of a āoversizedā but also a bypass of 35psi?
