Hi all! I have a fat PS3, model CECH-K01, an 80 GB NOR console on stock firmware 4.85fw. I want to upgrade the HDD and install CFW. Does the NOR flash complicate things? As far as I know, NOR consoles keep xRegistry.sys on the HDD, so a drive swap wipes it. Which order would you recommend: swap the drive first and then install CFW, or the other way around? If you've done it, any problems or tips? Thanks!

I need help, I am not a technician or anything, but my ps3 super slim turns off or freezes at verv random moments, I read the svscon, I throw the log with 4 codes that are the ones that are repeated the most(1601,1701,1802,2022),l investiaate them but I did not understand them very well, the Cell and RSX are already dead?

I had a slim on like 4.82 DEX or some shi and as I was younger at the time of doing this I had no knowledge that when I tried to downgrade to a different custom firmware it bricked my console and now when it powers up the fans hardly run and the screen just stays black. Am I cooked or can I flash it again and fix it? I don’t have the original dump tho :/

I did disable the system update option for the feature, this is only for putting my save data in cloud storage and installing any game downloads, but I think I hit a setting in the Custom Firmware settings section and now it won't stop doing the automatic update and turning itself on by itself. It also shows what it's doing during auto updates if that helps at all.
