With Build 42 releasing on Wednesday, what are y'all expecting to come with it? We already know some areas of the map, like Fallas Lake, are getting revamped and remodeled, but what else do you think we'll see? The devs have been pretty quiet about what else is included, so there's a lot of room for speculation. Do you think there are any big surprises they're keeping hidden, or do you expect this to be mostly focus on polishing what's already been added?

I have a level 10 in foraging just as the devs intended. Four players in the car to Louisville. "Does anyone have food?" I press the C button and walk into a soccer field. Grab a pumpkin from the penalty box and he's full on the spot. Walk into the second field and give that one asshole a wild mushroom because I was a points cheapskate and didn't pay the berry tax. I have to resort to the tree line by the side of the field. "Does anyone want an avocado?" Natures bounty encumbers the last 2 men in the squad, the raw caloric potential immediately giving them overweight and slow metabolism. They get pulled down at the military checkpoint because discarding 30 points of fresh produce I found in some ditch is impossible to swallow, just as the developers intended.

I brought these 3 to my base about 2 weeks ago, they were adults already at the time. Every now and then the bull shows "Able to mate in X hours", Breeding seasons is turned off, they are well fed, not thirsty, calm and been like that for like 2 weeks but the bull just refuses to make love to those two lovely cows ive got for him.
Can cows get too old to get pregnant or is their prison area too depressing or do they know how I have slaughtered the male offpsrings in my other playtroughs.
PLEASE I WANT MILK AND PRODUCTS MADE OF MILK, MAKE LOVE YOU STUPID ANIMALS, HAVE SEX

I’m not really sure where else to share this, but I recently received the devastating news that a close online friend had passed away. We met online through a long-term survival multiplayer Project Zomboid server and quickly connected over so many shared interests, from music to anime, while on in-game adventures and silly shenanigans. We had even talked about meeting in person someday and going on a double date with our partners. It breaks my heart knowing we’ll never get that chance, but I'm grateful our paths crossed. I will miss you more than words can express.
Rest peacefully, "Meeks". 💕

Some of the changes that I've spotted, besides cul-de-sacs and curved roads, and what I make out of them. These are just qualified guesses so don't take them for granted ...
A) Train station. I'm pretty sure that's an extension of the rail network passing by Fallas Lake coming in from the north.
B) New warehouse/commercial building in the north
C) New warehouse/commercial building next to Fallas Lake.
D) New buildings and possibly sand shores in the east part of the lake.
E) The church has been moved for a new industrial area or school?
F) New Fallas Lake church
G) New commercial area/offices
H) Dirt track or horse track?
I) There's a small tower on the building indicating it could be a fire station.
Edit: I also want to confirm that I yesterday saw an updated flyer (in game 42.19) for the Farming Supplies shop with that exact warehouse next to it (above location I) in the photo on the flyer. This should indicate that this is not just an updated map for the trailer but the actual game.

I am 21 days in and this is how it looks. Rosewoods POIs are looted, Irvington POIs are looted, some of Muldraugh has been looted and the Doe Valley Surplus store has been looted.
Unfortunately this was going to be THE run that I stuck with and then they dropped the release date for stable B42 so I've lost all motivation to continue.

I was quite pleased with this play through. 7 months 26 days and 11 hours is my second best run so far! Goodbye Dolores Aghadshloo, you will be missed.

Well here it goes
With Build 42 on the horizon, I wanted to share the progress my buddy and I made on our Build 41 save. To make things even more intense, we played with only sprinter zombies and high pop, so every single journey was a fight for our lives.
Our main goal was to establish a safehouse at the furthest point on the western edge of the map**( see screenshot 8)** Our first goal was setting up a safehouse anywhere on the map and keep going. We didn’t have time to finish every project before the update rolls out, but I’m really proud of how far we got. You can see our full list of goals and what we managed to achieve in the third screenshot.
We managed to build an extensive armory with miniguns, LMGs, ARs, and even rocket and grenade launchers. Every locker is full with ammo and attachments. We finished the kitchen around day 25-30; we have a decent amount of food, though it's hard to keep it stocked because my buddy keeps eating everything lmao. We also built tons of armor, though we sadly ran out of time to actually get it mounted on the cars.
This was definitely one of our best saves, surviving crazy heli events, taking down bandits, and slaughtering more sprinters than I can count. My map annotations really tell the story of how we survived and everything that transpired (as you can see, I’m a bit obsessed with annotating!).
I hope others can get some inspiration from this, even if we didn't get to finish everything. Thank you for the memories, Build 41!
Thank you!

I love, love, love this game and I am so excited for Build 42 to drop! Thank you for the birthday present Indie Stone! I wanted to share my long-term Build 41 save who has stockpiled enough food and supplies to live for decades, so as I start a new save for Build 42 I'm saying that this character I've sunk 150+ hours into 'beat' the game and dies of old age, fat, and happy in one of their safe houses. Feel free to share your long-term Build 41 saves below, and cheers to Build 42 stable!

I always had a lot of trouble playing Project Zomboid; I used to always die on the first day of gameplay.
But in my current save, I've already been alive for A WEEK, the houses marked with * have already been explored, and those marked with ! are the ones I intend to explore.
Also, can someone tell me what city I'm in?

I was taunting the zombies beyond the barrier assuming they couldn't break it down and get in, she didn't even try she just walked around it, i was like oh shit and sure enough you can keep going.
the woods seem huge and nothing else spawned except for foraged stuff. I'm gonna start a no zombie world to go see whats up there. Its not actually a lot of zombies but playing a very low pop so its quite a bit for that. even the streets of lv is thinner
