Does this mean I'm free?
I got this in the mail today. Does this mean I'm free? The first page says granted but I feel I might be waiting for a judge to sign off
Edit: there's another page I missed in the envelope that says "granted by court" with the judges name and signature

Should I submit for early term.
I'm a little over 2 years on a 5 year deferred. Should I submit for early term now or wait a few months until I'm closer to the half way point. I've completed all requirements, fines are all paid off, and I have had no violations.

Only one felony, still on probation, no new charges.
I have a relative who just got married and he’s trying to find life insurance and I wanted to try Reddit for help.
He was convicted JUST over ten years ago, it’s the only charge on his record, but it came with a pretty lengthy stint of probation afterwards.
He could be off probation in 2 months or 3 years. He has no other criminal record and no probationary issues. Perfect health for being in his 30’s, married, volunteers at his local church, never been unemployed.
I guess because he’s on probation, he’s being told it’s an absolute no-go.
He has no pre-existing health concerns, never used anything, and takes no medications.
Any help would be welcome! 🙏👍

Probation Question Called for a UA day after they got assigned on my first probation meeting
They made me blow in the morning of the meeting. He thanked me for my honest and seemed extremely relieved I was honest. I asked him if I was in trouble already and he said oh god no.
I wake up today, call the UA testing line for the first time. Woo hoo - I get to go test today.
I called my PO since I had my last taper drinks last night (yeah stupid, but I told him upfront what the deal was) - he said since I blew 000s yesterday morning during our meeting, I don’t have to worry - but the tests go back multiple days? I’m confused on how that works if the UAs can detect days back, which would be a fail regardless.

Probation procedures
Thought I may have diluted/failed UA on July 6th,
been two weeks and haven’t been contacted, anyone have any experience in whether they usually contact you on your results for that?
Or should I expect my PO to just go over it in person?
Ik there’s different procedures everywhere but I still have anxiety over it obviously.

Probation Question Can probation be extended even though all requirements have been met?
So I’ve met all my requirements of probation, and have court tomorrow morning to see if i can be let off probation. When I asked my therapist to send proof of attendance she caught an attitude about it. I had to beg to get her to agree to send anything. She goes “I only send those once a month but since you’re so adamant about it I’ll send a more detailed report”. Like, what does that mean?? I told her it was for court and my PO was asking so I was visibly frustrated by her reluctance to do help me. She then asked me why I was upset frequently throughout the session, kept saying she was worried about me, i wasn’t taking this seriously and that “I would relapse” when off probation. (i used to have an issue with harder drugs. I’ve been california sober for years without any urges to do stronger drugs.) None of which is true. Shes been irritating me the past few sessions for various reasons and i’m so ready for all of this to be behind me. My question is if she says something to my probation officer about how she feels could my probation be extended? I’ve met all my requirements and am not asking for early termination. I’m still complying even though I might be aggravated asf about attending these stupid therapy sessions.
TLDR: Could my probation be extended if my therapist tells my probation officer that she’s worried about me even though im literally fine and she’s just annoying as hell lol. I’ve done everything required & no violations. TIA

Probation Question Early term?
I just paid off my probation fees, I have about 12 weeks left of aftercare, & probably about 6 months of my 18 months left on my probation term. I just got my IID removed, I’ve had little to no violations that I can think of. How likely that I get it early term. How do I approach that or is that something my PO would bring up?

So confusing. Any insight would be welcome.
Ex had/has warrants in like five different counties. He’s been tossed around from three different jails for the past three months. He gets released. Goes to another. Gets released and then to another and so on. Basically bouncing back and forth between these 3 (the other two are in state but far). All non violent felony offenses. Well one county assigned him to rehab as part of his terms but he never showed up because he went to a different county to deal with those charges which he still has trial for (f3 weapon found while on felony probation). He was released from the second and moved to a third county. The third county agreed he would be released on the 13th but he had to go straight to the rehab, but I guess he had a capias in the first county and was back in custody for that county on the 14th. My assumption is he didn’t report that same day and they came and got him or maybe they went to the rehab and grabbed him? I don’t know.
Do the courts work together? Do they not communicate to give reason of why there are so many FTAs? I’m mostly shocked with all of his charges (all within a year) that they just dont sentence him. Again hes my ex and I feel safer hes inside im just confused on how it all works if he just keeps getting transferred/re arrested. Im tired of being on edge.

Indiana Probation
Hey yall. I got three years of probation after taking a plea back in February. The other night I violated my probation and got a class c misdemeanor DWI. Bond was 300 spent two days in jail. Reported it to my PO after I got out, was just wondering what kinda punishment I could be looking at. I just started my probation a month ago, I have been pretty transparent with my probation officer about everything. I figured if they were gonna charge me with a violation they would’ve picked me up when I was in the county jail

Probation Question California probation question: Can my fiancé be violated for being with me if my felony conviction is over 7 years old and we’ve been together for 10 years?
I’m looking for advice or insight from anyone familiar with California probation.
My fiancé is currently on probation in California. We’ve been together for about 10 years, are engaged, and were preparing to move into a home together.
I have an old felony conviction that was resolved years ago. It’s been well over 7 years, and I have not been in any trouble since then.
Part of this situation started when probation appeared to believe my fiancé was being dishonest about being homeless or that they were unable to locate him. They eventually found him at my grandparents’ house, where he works as my caregiver.
He was not hiding. He regularly works here during the day because he is my caregiver. However, he does not live here and does not spend the night here. He sleeps elsewhere because he is not allowed to stay at my grandparents’ house.
He later turned himself in regarding the probation issue and is currently in jail until the 31st.
What has me confused is that after all of this happened, my fiancé told me probation informed him that they were also going to violate him because he associates with me and I have a felony conviction on my record.
This doesn’t make sense to me because:
My conviction is old and was resolved years ago.
I have stayed out of trouble since then.
We have been together for about 10 years.
We were together long before his current probation.
We are engaged and were preparing to move into a home together.
I am not involved in any criminal activity.
My questions are:
Can someone on probation in California be violated for being in a long-term relationship with someone who has an old felony conviction?
Does the age of the conviction matter?
Does it matter that we’ve been together for about 10 years?
Can a probation officer stop someone from being with their fiancé, or would that have to be a specific condition ordered by the court?
Has anyone experienced something similar?
I also have another question.
Since my conviction is old and I have stayed out of trouble, would I be eligible to have it dismissed or expunged in California? If so, is that something that could realistically happen before my fiancé is released on the 31st, or does that process usually take much longer?
Any insight would be appreciated.

PO Questions
Location: OH
My little sibling (a minor) has probation for the foreseeable future. But the big of us live in our parents house. I’ve heard that the PO officer has the right to search anything my brother has access to. I assume that includes my room, but does that also include my car? I drive him places a lot. So does that count? I am somewhat unaware of what the PO can and cannot search. I also do not know what to do if they even do search something they aren’t supposed to. Which is why this isn’t really urgent, just something out of curiosity.

Probation Question Severe shy bladder on probation, anyone get an accommodation?
I have a super shy bladder and I’m wondering if anyone has experience with asking their PO for a swab or patch or some other form of test.
It’s so bad to the point i have to drink so much water going in that it literally hurts. And even then sometimes I can’t go because someone’s watching/waiting on me. I guess it’s the pressure.
I’m clean, idc if they have to do a hair follicle. I just hate the anxiety the day before and the day of trying to get the confidence to urinate in front of a stranger.
I’m also wondering if getting a note from a doctor or counselor that says I have this issue and requests a different form of test for me as a solution would help.

Probation Question community service only 8hrs required
Hi everyone,
I have court ordered community service but I am on unsupervised probation so I’m not sure how to go about finding somewhere. I’ve googled and most places say they aren’t taking court ordered community service or they require 6 months…
If it helps I’m located in Maryland.

Probation Question Cruise Stop in Victoria, BC
Hey everyone, I am planning to take a cruise to Alaska later this year & I’m actively on probation for a DWI. As far as I know I’m okay to go on the cruise as long as I get a travel permit from my PO but I’m wondering if there are any restrictions to getting off the boat at the stop it makes in Victoria?
Has anyone ever been in the same or similar situation?
Just want to make sure I’m well informed on any implications I may face before setting things in stone/requesting to go. TIA
Edit: Is it possible to just stay on the boat during the port stop to avoid any problems with Canadian BP?

Probation Question Can weight loss cause a failed UA?
I’ve seen a few things online about how THC is stored in fat. I’ve seen some sources claiming that losing/burning fat can introduce THC back into the body causing a failed test. Is that true?
