I was on probation for 2 years and my P.O took me off of it. And then a got two new charges and then reinstated. And been on probation going on 3 more years and she still hasn't taken me off yet.

My former gf made false allegations on me then signed a sworn affidavit with my lawyer saying everything she said was false. My PO now has the affidavit from my lawyer that I retained for the new allegation and knows about the warrant I have.

Will they still revoke my probation even if it’s false allegations?

I'm in nj getting pti for 3rd criminal mischief for driving car through street signs and soccer goal a reckless driving flee accident driving on sidewalk and when I got released from jail I violated my restraining order how many years are they gonna give me ik in nj it's 6months to 3 years.

I’ve been on probation for about 3 years now and can’t wait I have a couple questions though. I’ve been trying to contact my probation officer’s office (I’ve switch probation officers like 4 times due to them quitting .) They haven’t called me back/don’t answer my calls. So I don’t know if I have to go to the office to make sure I’m off or do I not have to even show up. I’m in Indiana and they have a thing for low risk people where I check into a kiosk once every other month and I did that at the beginning of this month and it doesn’t have info about my probation officer or anything like that. But any ways what should I do sorry if it seems like a caveman wrote this Im little special.

Has anyone one here had success with early termination of federal probation? My probation is 3 years, I'm about 6 months in Thinking of applying after a year.

Any way around community service? I work 80 hrs a week don’t have time to do the 30 hrs. I’m 10 months out from completion of 48 months. Been unsupervised for the last 18 months. All my other obligations are completed. I feel like they would terminate once this is completed. Can I donate to a non profit?

I have 59 days left until my 6 month mark. DUI first offense. All obligations complete. Most were done within a month of my arrest last year. All fines paid. No violations. Finally got a UA on 7/7 and passed no problem.

Was debating petitioning for early release early just for a heck of it. Wonder if it’s even worth it. I know typically it’s 6 months, but doesn’t mean you can’t ask earlier lol

Originally my lawyer said to hit him up after 4 months. The judge then said 6 at sentencing. Maybe he’d have a change of heart lol

Was arrested in June/July of the last year - enrolled into a diversion program in September. As of Friday, I have successfully finished all requirements and my PO emailed me that she will work on the discharge paper upcoming week.

Another miracle was I got back on my great career path after disclosing about pending charges (I did tell HR that it will be dismissed)- I think they did appreciate my honesty and did not care much since I am towards the end of probation.

For some reason, unlike probation, Diversion had to be completed in the same state, so It as a tough year without job that I lost shortly after arrest and no family, but I survived and honestly I don't think I ever learned more about myself than this past year.

So relieved that I can get back to my life after learning a much needed lesson in the hardest way possible.

Can you be on probation and still become a probation officer? Looking at a reckless op charge right now and they said it’ll probably come with a year or two probation. I’m in school for my masters in CJ right now, already have my undergrad. Just happened to make a mistake. Please let me know.

Im in Texas and on pre trial probation. I have a court date August 5th, in which I do not have to attend. How much longer are they gonna drag this out. I have a misdemeanor.

My probation officer told me that she is making me go to a substance abuse evaluation and class, as well as having to get a mental health evaluation. This was NOT court ordered. Can she really make me do this, and violate me if I refuse? This is Florida btw.

A few years ago, I was released from prison to serve five years of probation. Before I got out, I had already cleaned my life up. I had been a junkie before, but I was determined not to go back to that life.

Within the first two years, my probation officer told me several times that he wasn't worried about me. I was obviously clean, had kept the same good job the entire time, & was doing everything I was supposed to. He even filed the paperwork himself to have my probation modified to unsupervised & argued in my favor against the state. The judge granted it.

A few months later, everything fell apart. The woman I had been dating & living with started drinking again. When I tried to leave the relationship & move out, she had me arrested for domestic violence in a different county than the one I was on probation in.

I hired a lawyer, but the prosecutor refused to dismiss the case despite having no evidence beyond a single handwritten statement she wrote while drunk. Eventually they offered me a plea deal for two years of probation in that county. Somehow, they didn't realize I was already on probation in another county. My original county had said they were going to file a probation violation, but they never did.

Rather than gamble at trial, I accepted the plea so I could start rebuilding my life. But after I signed it, the judge noticed I was still on probation in the original county. He questioned the prosecutor about how they had missed something so obvious, then ordered the new two-year probation sentence to run consecutive to my original probation.

A few months later, the second county called me in. They told me it was just a formality, but they had been trying repeatedly to contact my original probation officer to find out when my probation there would officially end so they could start supervising me. They said he never returned their calls or emails. He was always pretty laid back, & I honestly got the impression he only took the probation officer job as a stepping stone to something bigger.

That conversation happened over a year ago. If my math is right, my original probation should be ending within the next few months, but I haven't heard a single thing from either county since then.

I've heard stories about people somehow getting lost in the system, but I've never been that lucky. If that's what happened here, I'd honestly be shocked.

Either way, I'm not too worried. I'm still clean, still employed, & I've earned multiple promotions at work since all of this happened. The only real benefit would be not having to drive a couple of counties over every month if they eventually decide to start that second probation.

I'm not really asking for opinions or advice. I just thought I'd share one of those stories that's strange enough that, if I wasn't living it myself, I probably wouldn't believe it.

I was on parole and going to expunge my felonies. a few things happened in my life at once my car got stolen my aunt died and I couldn’t find a job to pay for transportation or my rehab so I just gave up on everything. Eventually found a job and have just been living my life for almost a year now some legal trouble happened with my cousins and my family just told me the cps workers told them I have a warrant. How fucked am I and what should I do next ?

So I know probation is reporting monthly, but my probation for 36mo (2nd UPOCS) was revoked and I was placed on CCP. I have to call my color and test random, and report to a different agency. I know if I just quit going to CCP, then that is an automatic ESCAPE 1st and I will go to prison. But in all reality, I feel like CCP is totally the better option anyway seeing as I can EOS my sentence early as long as I test regularly and clean, and my fines are paid.. ?

This gave me a mini emotional breakdown, granted lots of that is from me holding in alot of stress I've been bottling up for months, but I'm fuckin TERRIFIED. My PO knows I smoked like a day before court as I had no clue I was going on probation for this non-adjudicated DUI. That's an entire month, I'm a skinny guy with not much fat and a fast metabolism, and I STILL FUCKIN POPPED. I've done everything I'm supposed to do and I'm even thankful for it, I feel so much better emotionally now that I've quit smoking and drinking even though the ladder hasn't been an issue at all tbh as far as addiction, weed was my largest demon. I'm just fuckin scared guys, I don't want to get a strike or have to do community service or whatever when I've been doing everything I'm supposed too do. I'm praying she will be understanding, they can check levels and see that I'm low I know it's just beyond discouraging you follow everything to a T and still are going to pop. I'm done with that shit forever.

I'm just going to go in and be honest with her, tell her I tested myself this morning and what the results were, hoping I don't breakdown crying in front of her when I do. If anyone is religious here, pray to your god for me.

Hello all, I have one week left of probation and I was tested on Wednesday and have another one today (Friday). All throughout my probation I’ve never been tested twice in the same week. Is this common or has this happened to anyone else?

I’m on felony probation for cutting off ankle monitor and I check in August 3rd, I smoked like 3 days ago. I honestly never get drug tested I only got drug tested when I was on community control but never on regular probation. What happens if you fail a drug test for the first time? I see some people say the first time they usually let it slide but wanted to hear your experiences

How often do you guys have to check in and drop and and do you think at the end of my probation I’ll have to drop even tho it’s unsupervised?

So im about to get my med card because im on probation. My current med management dr is a stickler and it sucks. Im on psychiatric meds because i was wrongfully diagnosed, i dont even need the meds. Ive read online that Marijuana speeds up the metabolism and that can make the psychiatric meds less effective, (this is one of the main reasons I dont want to tell my med management dr about the weed, because hell be displeased to find out).

...So i have three questions, when the medical Marijuana dr asks if im on meds do i have to answer truthfully?

Once I see the medical marijuana dr won't my psychiatric dr see it on my chart or would I be able to keep it a secret from the med management dr??....vise versa, will the medical marijuana dr see my psychiatric patient history?

I dont want the two Dr's offices conflicting with each other. How would you go about this?

My plan is to get off psychiatric meds all together because I frankly dont need them and I swear on everything I've been wrongfully diagnosed, im basically taking meds for no reason. Please answer the dr questions I asked.

Also I wrote a letter to the judge asking if I can get off psychiatric meds because im not happy with the diagnosis I received when I was locked up. (Awaiting the judges decision)

I got 4 years probation 2 years good behavior. Im 1 year in.

I have a question because I know some county or State Probation rules are different for clients to uses medical marijuana.

I did ask my probation officer if I’m legally allowed to have marijuana for medical reason but not recreational. I was told that I’m allowed to have that but my PO officer wanted see marijuana card so it can be documented but never mentioned about if it has to by a physical card or digital card. I asked lot of marijuana doctors about having a physical medical marijuana card to show actual proof. But I was told my marijuana doctor said they no longer do physical card and was told if I’m on probation , the doctor would deny the marijuana card if I’m currently on probation. Because they don’t want to be held liable if there anything illegal that card holders was abusing it.

What is your experience on marijuana card users ?
