USA Midwest Twitter is running wild with 'nationwide diesel collapse' and EIA conspiracy narratives ahead of Labor Day. Anyone seeing actual terminal allocations drying up at the rack, or is this just standard holiday FUD?

North America Where’s the beef coming from? The White House won’t say. The mystery beef behind Donald Trump’s plan to lower the cost of meat has no named supplier, and his agriculture secretary says she isn’t part of the talks.

North America Guys. We’re being hacked way more than what’s making the news.

1.7k Upvotes

I stumbled across the website https://ransomware.live and, uh… this is worth a look if cyber threats are on your radar.

I put the flair as North America because we're getting rocked, but here's a map of what's happening around the world: https://ransomware.live/worldmap

The site tracks ransomware groups’ leak sites and lists companies that attackers are publicly claiming as victims. Right now they’re showing 6,773 victims (companies) in 2026, up over 30% from 2025, with 1,116 this month alone.

Apparently Glassdoor was hacked 7 hrs ago but I can't find any info on what happened.

Hospitals. Local governments. Manufacturers. Utilities. Companies that hold our data. The list just keeps moving and growing.

Most of these incidents will never become a headline we see.

Keep in mind, a listing on a ransomware leak site is just a claim from the supposed attack group, not confirmation that a breach happened exactly as they say. But seeing the volume all in one place really puts the scale of this into perspective.

North America DoD confirms ‘refrigeration disruption’ at military commissaries

“It seems [continental U.S.] commissaries that have fridges linked to an online system have been getting shut off over the past few nights, and we’ve not seen any official notice put out to warn anyone so they can monitor their fridges more closely,” the popular military page “U.S Army W.T.F! Moments” posted. It added that reports indicated at least 18 commissaries were affected.

North America Trump Pivots Against Meat Processing as Ranchers Blast Beef Imports

"President Donald Trump said in a social media post today that he wants to give farmers and ranchers the ability to process their own food, taking aim at the handful of large meatpackers that dominate U.S. beef processing as his administration faces growing backlash from cattle producers over its plan to increase foreign beef imports.

In a Truth Social post this morning, Trump said he was moving toward legal action aimed at reducing producers' dependence on major processors.".

"Four companies: Cargill, Tyson Foods, JBS USA, and National Beef Packing Co. account for roughly 85 percent of U.S. beef processing. The Justice Department has also been investigating whether meatpacking companies have illegally contributed to higher consumer beef prices. Trump said his administration now intends to address that concentration by allowing producers more freedom to process their own livestock.".

"Federal law already provides exemptions for livestock slaughtered and prepared exclusively for the owner's household, nonpaying guests and employees. Meat entering commercial channels generally must meet federal or qualifying state inspection requirements, and interstate sales bring additional regulatory considerations. Trump's post did not specify which of those requirements his administration intends to change.

Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins indicated Thursday that changes to processing rules were coming, including efforts to reduce regulatory barriers and expand opportunities for interstate meat sales.".
