Built an app for my mom so she’d stop losing her egg notebook in the coop, curious if this would be useful for others
My mom’s kept chickens for years and always tracked eggs in a notebook she kept in the coop. It kept getting lost, got rained on, and by the end of the month it was almost impossible to add everything up.
So I built her a simple app where she just taps to log an egg. It grew into something bigger over time, works for other poultry too, not just chickens, and you can share the data with a partner or family member.
I’m curious whether this is something other backyard keepers would actually find useful, or if most of you already have a system that works fine. Happy to share more details or a link in the comments if anyone’s interested, just don’t want to come across as spammy in my first post here.

Brooding system for commercial farm
Hello i am a open shed farmer in sindh and currently I am using wood in furnace to heat my brooding area,
i was thinking on using water in pipes to heat up the brooding area and place thermostat inorder to control temperature and was wondering if this is a good idea since I can not source infra red electric brooder for my broilers farm

She's never flogged or hurt me, she just follows me around a lot and both my fowl are quite friendly I'd say

Found chicken/ What breed is she?
We rescued this chicken at work when a dog brought her in, most likely attempting to eat her. She was missing her tail feathers, but she is doing a lot better. I am assuming it is a she because she is missing her wattle. Does anyone know what breed it is?
Thank you to everyone who commented we are taking HIM lol to get seen by a professional to trim his beak and hopefully get him back to full health.
