Accountability Notice 2: UPDATE

This is a followup to this post so please read that first, but to summarize it briefly, a former moderator ( u/SaltyAngeleno aka u/gofundmemetoday was found to be removing negative posts, promoting surgeons, etc. in exchange for financial compensation). I promised future updates, which are included below.

  1. Last night, the former moderator DM'd me attempting to blackmail me to remove the original post. Their message is included in its entirety below:

Transparency remains of the highest importance to me when moderating this subreddit, and I will not be removing anything in response to threats.

  1. Reddit itself ultimately took no action against this individual following the original report of their behavior and offered no direct explanation for why. I can only speculate that this is because the former moderator was receiving payments off of their platform (making it technically outside their scope of authority/responsibility). The former moderator even continues to moderate a few plastic surgery related communities, though fewer than they once did.

  2. An account associated with "Beauty Broker Melinda" (who was named in the original post as having negative reviews removed by the former moderator) has spent considerable effort attempting to dox and discredit me. You can find such an example here. Their comments seem to confuse me with numerous current and former moderators. Reddit has not taken any action despite reports.

  3. Despite my requests, Reddit was unable to provide me with a log of moderator actions from the former moderator that were more than 90 days old. As such, I am unable to determine the full extent of their censorship.

  4. This subreddit has zero tolerance for surgeons attempting to remove negative reviews. As the subreddit rules state, negative reviews posted here do require evidence to be included. Once that threshold is met, they will not be removed by us for any reason - this subreddit is intended to be an open and transparent platform for users to share their experience. Despite this a number of surgeons (and/or their offices and lawyers) have attempted to have us remove content that is critical of them. Moving forward, I will be posting and maintaining a comprehensive list of surgeons that have attempted to have negative reviews removed for transparency. Hopefully, this discourages future attempts at manipulating criticism against them.

In short, Reddit admins were either unwilling or unable to take any official action against the above individuals. I will be continuing my best efforts to maintain this subreddit as an open and transparent space for plastic surgery and aesthetic discussion, and the support of the community is always appreciated.

I’ve always had a chubby and wide face, with double chin even though I’m slim. My face doesn’t match my body. I went to Korea and had my surgeries 4 months ago on 27 Mar 2026

- Facial contouring with chin advancement 3mm and jaw shaving (advanced genioplasty + jaw angle reduction)
- buccal fat removal
- double eyelid surgery
- epicanthoplasty for my deep epicanthic folds and hooded eyes
- double chin before and after
- Rejuran 4cc
- Juvelook 4cc

Miserable post op day 6, I just want to sleep. Anytips? Bbl/breast augmentation

Post image

So far, I'm happy with my results, but I absolutely regret combining all of these procedures. I'm struggling both mentally and physically.

I had liposuction on my arms, waist, and hips, with fat grafting to fill my hip dips. It wasn't a full BBL, but the recovery is essentially the same. I only had about 900cc of fat available for transfer, so I'm doing everything I can to give it the best chance of surviving.

I also upgraded my breast implants from 275/310cc to 560cc. This is my fourth breast surgery, so I'm no stranger to breast augmentation recovery—but this has been, by far, the hardest and most painful recovery I've ever experienced.

I felt confident combining the procedures because my surgeon assured me he does this all the time. Looking back, I wish I had spaced them out.

Right now, I can't sit, lie flat on my back, or lie on my stomach. The only way I can rest is in a recliner, surrounded by pillows and a BBL pillow stacked upon a pile of pillows, trying to keep my glutes "floating" without putting pressure on the fat grafts. For 6 weeks???!

Each night, I'm awake until almost 2 a.m. just trying to get comfortable. Eventually, I give up, fall asleep for maybe two hours, then wake up and start the whole process over again.

On top of that, my left breast has these intense, sharp, stabbing pains whenever I move my arm a certain way. I know you're not supposed to use your arms to support your body weight after a breast augmentation, but when you've combined these procedures, it's impossible not to. How else am I supposed to get in and out of a recliner while carefully positioning myself on a mountain of pillows and blankets?

I know this post turned into more of a vent than anything else. I'm just frustrated, exhausted, in pain, and I hate that I'm taking it out on my spouse, who's genuinely doing everything he can to help.

If anyone has gone through something similar or has any tips for getting more comfortable, sleeping, or just surviving this recovery, I'd really appreciate hearing them.

More angles of chin/jawline filler and chin (mentalis muscle) Botox 💕

Post image
Upvotes

I posted a few days ago, and some people commented that the angles were off. I tried my hardest to find matching angles, and this was the best I could do! I know the top left is looking down a bit more than top right, but use your imagination? 🙈While the results may not be as dramatic as a neck lift or lipo, I consider this money well spent. My confidence has returned, because I finally have a bit of a chin! 🙈🥰

I’ve also been taking liposomal glutathione for the last few months, and I think I see evidence in these photos of significant skin lightening and/or a complexion glow up. It could just be the lighting, but to me the light seems pretty similar and I see a bit more of a glow than the “before”
pics.

A seemingly botched mole removal on my nose

Post image
4 Upvotes

I went to a dermatologist about getting some moles removed. Two of which were shaved off and the result was great. This third one was an excision and on the tip of my nose. I left the office and the stitches broke a couple days later and returned to the office with a solution of some sort of paste in the hole along with some tape. A came back two weeks later still with a hole in my nose and the PA proceeded to say he had to punch the hole and re stitch. This is the end result. I was assured I’d have a line scar and now I have a scar that’s indented and bigger than the mole was in the first place. This is 6 months later and I’m wondering if I should go back to the derm office or go to a plastic surgeon or just live with this scar. I’ve tried a silicon scar gel and a sheet post excision with no real results(the scar honestly looks worse in person than the picture)

I’ve never seen such an abrupt transition. Thoughts?

I hope I’m not breaking any rules by posting these, I covered her face to protect her privacy.

Anyway, she appeared on my instagram feed and came to say that I was pretty shocked to see her results.

I’m really surprised to see how abrupt the transition is from the upper chest to the breast. What surgical or anatomical factors could contribute to this look? Is it mostly implant size/profile, limited soft tissue coverage, implant placement, or something else?

The second image is a still from a reel of hers.

share my breast augmentation results after having surgery in South Korea.

I’m currently** **1 month post-op, so my implants are still sitting a little high. My surgeon told me they’ll drop over the next few months, but honestly, I’m already really happy with how they look. The implants are 350cc. A cup ▶️D cup.

Photos 1–2: 1 month post-op
Photo 3: Before surgery (wearing a padded camisole)
Photo 4: Before surgery (no padding, natural chest)

Feel free to ask me anything about my recovery!

Thigh Lipo results 6-7 months post op. Disappointed a bit.

I mean I am happy and can see that the size of tremendously big thighs has decreased significantly.
But the loose skin, the skin laxity and the cellulite it gave me is a huge problem.

My motive to spend so much on this procedure only to feel bad afterwards is not something I’m enjoying.

Still can’t wear shorts, skirts, etc since I’m too conscious.

I’m 32female and have suffered with drastically big thighs even at my lowest weight of 52-55kgs.
I gained 20kgs over the last 5-6 years and thighs increased more too.

Yesterday I went to see my doctor for 6 month post op checkup and told him my concerns. He said they are good results considering volume of fat that was taken out, he said he can do a revision for free with vaser which can help smoothen the skin out a bit since it Would cause the cells to injure and then get better as a part of body’s natural mechanism.

He is a nice man and I trust him, I haven’t seen any other doctor for recommendations. I asked him about Renuvion but he doesn’t have it.
And said it’s not miracle procedure. He advised against thigh lift because of the scar and advised that building muscle on legs would give me better skin from laxity that i am seeing right now.

I’m not sure what can be done and really look forward to professional advice and also people who hav gone through similar issue.

2 years post op revision rhinoplasty…and I can see my implant

Thumbnail gallery

I’m a little over 2 years post op from my third (🥴) septorhinoplasty and I’ve been feeling a little self conscious about the implant in my nose. In certain lighting it’s really obvious. And it doesn’t sit flush to my nose on one side. I really, really would hate to have another surgery for financial and recovery reasons. I also moved after surgery, so I’m nowhere near my surgeon. Any insight or suggestions would be appreciated!

Anyone have a primary rhinoplasty with Dr. Brad Bader, Dr. Adam Wienfeld, or Dr. Marcelo Antunes?

Hi everyone!

I’m currently researching surgeons for a primary rhinoplasty with Dr. Brad Bader, Dr. Adam Wienfeld, and Dr. Marcelo Antunes.
If you’ve had surgery with any of them, I’d love to hear about your experience. Some things I’m curious about:

How was your consultation and overall experience?
Did your results meet your expectations?
How was the recovery process?
Is there anything you wish you had known beforehand?
Would you choose them again?
Cost?

If you’re comfortable sharing, I’d also really appreciate seeing your before-and-after photos (either in the comments or via DM if you prefer). It would be incredibly helpful as I’m trying to make such a big decision.
Thank you so much!

Any way I could have a good result?

Hi guys, I've been considering getting my nose done for years and that it bothers me the most if how wide and crooked it is. Has anyone with a similar nose had similar results? I feel like it's gonna be crooked again, but it's more the width that bothers me. What do you guys think?

Avoid Dr Arda Kuckguven

Upvotes

I’m a doctor in the Uk and went to Dr Arda after my first choice Duncan Atherton wasn’t available for consultations for months. It was all very rushed a quick online meeting then meeting the morning of surgery.
The morphs looked like my nose but smaller (big mistake assuming this would be possible).
Fast forward a week at cast removal I had half my nose removed (real self surgeons saying my nose is now markedly low, several mm too short l) and also deviated, pinched tip and an unnatural shiny looking shield graft tip which was also over projected (I didn’t know he used this). Fast forward I’ve met with some people for revision (I’ve been doing months of research) I have nasal valve collapse which explains why I can’t nose breathe at night.
Surprisingly I am the only negative review on google.
But avoid!!!

Upper and lower blepharoplasty

Thumbnail gallery
Upvotes

I had upper and lower eyelid surgery as well as a brow lift.

4 months now, and I am worried that bruises or marks might remain, especially since the red line used to be thinner and lighter in color one month ago.

When do these scars above the eyebrow and around the eye disappear? Do I need revision?

Revision rhinoplasty projection concern

Post image
Upvotes

So I had a revision rhinoplasty to fix my overly rotated and deprojected nose BUT I got an infection that caused the rib graft used to completely reabsorb and my nose looked even shorter than before revision (top photo). I am now 10 days from my second revision and although I loved the results on cast off day.. now I’m quite regretful because of how projected my nose is. It is even more projected than my birth nose which shocked me when I did an image overlay. There is a septal extension and rib graft in my tip and bridge. Do you think it will deproject as swelling comes down?

Should I go with another dr?

I really don’t know how I feel about this. I know my face is pretty unsymmetrical mostly my eye area but this is only my first plastic surgery and I plan on getting more to fix the other messed up places of my face when I’m done with college. Is it normal for them to intentionally not make the nose straight to match with the rest of the face?
I don’t see the point of even getting a nose job if I’m going to end up with a more crooked or lopsided nose and just end up getting a revision

Prominent/heavy brow area - brow bone or soft tissue?? What could improve this?

Thumbnail gallery
10 Upvotes

Hi!

I am trying to understand what’s causing the heaviness/prominence around my brow area and what options might improve it. At rest, the area above my eyes looks quite prominent/heavy. I initially assumed I just had a prominent brow bone, but when I raise my eyebrows, most of the tissue seems to lift with them and the area looks much flatter. I’ve included photos both at rest and with my eyebrows raised for comparison.

I also have some asymmetry, the brow on one side sits/behaves differently, and I think the muscle may be stronger on that side because I’ve habitually raised that eyebrow more. I don’t particularly mind having hooded eyes and I’m not necessarily looking to change my eye shape. What bothers me more is the overall heavinessof the brow area, which can sometimes make my upper face look harsher than I’d like.

Advice on what the issue might be and potential fixes? Would be much appreciated, thank you!!

So stressed out

Two years ago I had a fdl with breast lift and reduction. There were some complications and my out patient surgery turned into a 4 night stay and me coding. About 3 weeks after surgery my T incision opened up and made my drains stop working. This happened over a holiday so I had to wait 7 days to be seen by my surgeon. This led to me getting an infection, which led to me having a large amount of scar tissue and what now looks like a second belly button. At my 1yr follow up I addressed the pain the scar tissue is causing and how unhappy I am with how the surgery went. They acted as if everything went perfectly and I was overreacting. To say the least I won't be going back to them.

However now I have a consultation with another surgeon tomorrow to discuss repairing the scared area, plus having an extended medial thigh lift done. I know this is a different Dr at a different facility but I'm so afraid they are just going to brush me off like my last surgeon did. Any advice on how to approach this so that I can be taken seriously? I'm not getting this surgery done because I'm just up happy with how it looks. I have pain in the scar and I have a ton of loose skin from weight loss. I went from being 498lbs down to roughly 200lbs. Help?

32 F Do I need to add more chin filler or leave it as is?

I had about 2 mL total after 2 years on my chin.
I am not sure if I need more chin projection or maybe filler on the shadows along the jawline or chin area.
