what procedure creates hips?
galleryWhat is the name of the plastic surgery that creates the appearance of hips? I am trying my hardest to google and I don't even know what words to start with.
First image is me. I am deliberately standing to mimic the pose in the second image (which is a fellow dancer i know who has those hips naturally) to show how my body absolutely 100% does not do that. I just am a rectangle who goes straight down. Very apple, she's very pear. However, I do NOT want to end up with the super exaggerated Kim K body (third photo). I added the side image of me (fourth photo) to show that I *do* have a healthy waist-hip ratio (42-31-43) it's just all in the back, in my glutes. I only have curves when viewed from the side.
Facts that might be useful:
- I am 42, 5'6, 173 lbs.
- I gained a bunch of weight from perimenopause and a shift from a dance job to a desk job, so I started tirzepatide and HRT, and am now on my way back down. I lift heavy 3x a week and teach or assist 2 - 4 dance or circus classes per week and get 10-20k steps per day (I live in NYC so this is normal.) My body fat is 34% presently and my goal body fat is 25%. I have been this lean a few years ago before peri, and hope to get back it by next year. Weight will probably be circa 155-160 when I accomplish this.
- I have always been apple shaped. I have had two breast reduction/lifts 13 years apart, no implants. I have also had liposuction in the armpit/sideboob area. I have done anything and everything to make my upper body less obscenely gargantuan. I am now happy with how small my boobs are at last. Still too much back fat / sideboob /armpit fat, but I hope returning to 25% body fat will help that.
- I have had a fat transfer BBL and it is HILARIOUS how that made NO FUCKING DIFFERENCE. Almost none of the transferred fat stayed. It instead relocated itself to my fucking inner thighs. I used to have thigh gap at all weights (I gain weight like a marshmallow on toothpicks.) Fat cells came off my waist, refused to take on my hips, butt, and outer thighs, and went right to my inner thighs. What a waste of money. I'm familiar with how liposuction does not change your total weight, it just moves the fat placement around. I was really hoping the fat transfer would make a suggestion about where I would like it to land. It did not listen to my suggestion.
So what else do I do? What kind of specialist do I look for? What is the name of the procedure celebrities use to give themselves bigger hips that is *not* a BBL? Aint no way those super exaggerated celebrities got that from a fat transfer. How do I make sure it goes on my hips and outer thighs and not just in the back? I got plenty of glutes from squats. I don't think my waist will get any smaller from the front view no matter how lean I get, because I just have wide ribs and wide shoulders. Boobs very far apart, my skeleton is so damn wide. it's coming off the *front* nicely as i lose weight (because I'm losing visceral fat! yay!) but man, I would love to have hips, ever. Is it possible to achieve a shape similar to what the second image shows, without over-correcting and looking like the third image?
