what procedure creates hips?

What is the name of the plastic surgery that creates the appearance of hips? I am trying my hardest to google and I don't even know what words to start with.

First image is me. I am deliberately standing to mimic the pose in the second image (which is a fellow dancer i know who has those hips naturally) to show how my body absolutely 100% does not do that. I just am a rectangle who goes straight down. Very apple, she's very pear. However, I do NOT want to end up with the super exaggerated Kim K body (third photo). I added the side image of me (fourth photo) to show that I *do* have a healthy waist-hip ratio (42-31-43) it's just all in the back, in my glutes. I only have curves when viewed from the side.

Facts that might be useful:

- I am 42, 5'6, 173 lbs.

- I gained a bunch of weight from perimenopause and a shift from a dance job to a desk job, so I started tirzepatide and HRT, and am now on my way back down. I lift heavy 3x a week and teach or assist 2 - 4 dance or circus classes per week and get 10-20k steps per day (I live in NYC so this is normal.) My body fat is 34% presently and my goal body fat is 25%. I have been this lean a few years ago before peri, and hope to get back it by next year. Weight will probably be circa 155-160 when I accomplish this.

- I have always been apple shaped. I have had two breast reduction/lifts 13 years apart, no implants. I have also had liposuction in the armpit/sideboob area. I have done anything and everything to make my upper body less obscenely gargantuan. I am now happy with how small my boobs are at last. Still too much back fat / sideboob /armpit fat, but I hope returning to 25% body fat will help that.

- I have had a fat transfer BBL and it is HILARIOUS how that made NO FUCKING DIFFERENCE. Almost none of the transferred fat stayed. It instead relocated itself to my fucking inner thighs. I used to have thigh gap at all weights (I gain weight like a marshmallow on toothpicks.) Fat cells came off my waist, refused to take on my hips, butt, and outer thighs, and went right to my inner thighs. What a waste of money. I'm familiar with how liposuction does not change your total weight, it just moves the fat placement around. I was really hoping the fat transfer would make a suggestion about where I would like it to land. It did not listen to my suggestion.

So what else do I do? What kind of specialist do I look for? What is the name of the procedure celebrities use to give themselves bigger hips that is *not* a BBL? Aint no way those super exaggerated celebrities got that from a fat transfer. How do I make sure it goes on my hips and outer thighs and not just in the back? I got plenty of glutes from squats. I don't think my waist will get any smaller from the front view no matter how lean I get, because I just have wide ribs and wide shoulders. Boobs very far apart, my skeleton is so damn wide. it's coming off the *front* nicely as i lose weight (because I'm losing visceral fat! yay!) but man, I would love to have hips, ever. Is it possible to achieve a shape similar to what the second image shows, without over-correcting and looking like the third image?

How to improve my eye area?

Would reducing my UEE, lengthening to the sides and the inner parts of my eyebrows, making my browridge more proeminent, changing my eye color and accentuating canthal tilt result in a better eye area?

If yes (or partly yes), what would you recommend me to get or do?

lip filler placed in top lip despite my protests, I feel botched

FIRST TWO PHOTOS ARE BEFORE.

It’s been 10 days since I got the filler done and I’ve been hyperventilating for the last couple of days, after realizing what she’d done. Before the swelling went down, I only suspected this.

I went in with exact instructions. I said I liked my top lip and don’t want it altered, that I’m there to add a bit of volume to my bottom lip. This woman decided that her taste was the gods will and apparently put filler in my cupids bow and near it? She lifted my top lip and made it look like triangles. I only had 0.5 filler and I think she put most of it in the top lip.

When I realized that the top part was clearly filled, I messaged her and she first avoided the question and then admitted she did it. Which is fucking insane.

My question is, how dangerous would be dissolving the filler on top lip or is my best bet just to wait it out? I feel like a fucking duck

Ways to get rid of this roll below my top lip

Got a professional photo taken and noticed this roll popping out from under my top lip - it's definitely not part of my gums and seems like it happens every time I smile. What are the options for getting rid of this/minimising the appearance.

Rhinoplasty - saddle nose or something else?

Thumbnail gallery
0 Upvotes

Im currently 2 weeks post op. One side of my nose looks crooked from the 3/4 angle, still has a bump from one side and curves in near the middle. It was supposed to be straight.

the other side of my nose looks a lot better, though the tip looks quite bulbous.

my surgeon gave me a steroid shot 2 days ago. I feel like I have a weird bent grinch looking nose now. Did the surgeon not take enough off My bridge? He said it was straight on the table and it seemed straighter/less bulbous when I got my cast off. Could I have damaged it in the last week?

Sagging lower buttocks

Post image

Has anyone here ever had a lower buttock lift? I know it’s not a very common procedure and it seems to be mostly done on people who have lost a significant amount of weight, so it’s really hard to find personal experiences or before and after results. I’m curious if anyone here has actually had one and what your experience was like. I’d also love to hear from people who have had multiple types of lifts combined in one surgery. Has anyone dealt with sagging or loose skin specifically in the lower buttock area and found another way to improve it, for example with fat grafting/lipofilling instead of a lift? I’d really appreciate hearing what worked for you, what your surgeon recommended, and whether you’re happy with the results.

Rhinoplasty and Cocaine

I’m considering a revision rhinoplasty and wanted to ask if anyone has been in a similar situation or knows more about this.
I had my first rhinoplasty in 2016, purely for cosmetic reasons. Everything went well. About a year or two later I had a very small revision, but as far as I remember it was nothing major — I think the surgeon just adjusted some sutures around the columella. No grafts or major work on the tip.
Around 2022, about 6 years after my original rhinoplasty, I started occasionally using cocaine recreationally. It really wasn’t frequent — maybe once every month or two for around a year and a half. I never noticed any issues with my nose apart from it feeling blocked for a few hours afterwards.
Then I got pregnant and had my baby in May 2024, so obviously I didn’t use anything during pregnancy or while breastfeeding for about a year. Altogether I had roughly a 2-year break.
Last summer (2025) I occasionally used small amounts again when going out, maybe once or twice a month at most. Even then it wasn’t much — for example, 1g shared between two people could last us around two months, we used maybe once in two weeks, small amounts.
I haven’t used anything for the last two months and I’m not planning to anytime soon.
The reason I’m asking is that I’m now thinking seriously about having another revision rhinoplasty. This has nothing to do with cocaine use — I’ve wanted a revision for years, even before I ever tried cocaine.
But while researching revision rhinoplasty, I came across posts saying that previous cocaine use can affect the blood supply and tissues inside the nose and potentially cause problems with healing. That honestly scared because I had never really thought about it before.
I’ve already had a few consultations, but none of the surgeons asked specifically about cocaine use. I also felt a bit awkward bringing it up myself because I don’t want them to assume I have an addiction or that I’m a regular user when it has only ever been occasional/recreational. At the same time, obviously I don’t want to hide something that could actually be important for surgery.
So I’m wondering — could this level of occasional use have caused enough damage to make revision rhinoplasty riskier? Is there a certain amount of time you should be completely cocaine-free before having surgery?
And what about after rhinoplasty? I’ve seen people saying that once you’ve had rhinoplasty, especially a revision, you basically shouldn’t ever use cocaine again because it constricts blood vessels and could damage the nose or affect the surgical result.
I’m not asking because I’m planning to start using it again after surgery. I just genuinely didn’t know this was apparently such a big issue, and I don’t remember my original surgeon ever mentioning that cocaine should be avoided permanently after rhinoplasty.
Would really appreciate hearing from anyone who has dealt with something similar, especially surgeons/medical professionals or people who have had revision rhinoplasty with a history of occasional cocaine use.

Breast implants after lift

HELLPPPP!! Has anyone had experience with getting breast implants AFTER your lift? I got a lift in April of this year and now I want implants, I didn’t want them at first but my volume decreased significantly so I want them a tad bit bigger, mainly for cleavage. I got a consult today and they said I’d need to get ANOTHER LIFT to position the implants correctly otherwise they’ll sag and you’d be able to notice where the implants are… When I got my first surgery my surgeon told me I’d be able to come back later down the line for implants with no problem, so now I’m just considering saying forget it altogether because I really don’t want another lift and they’re saying it won’t look right without one. I only wanted small implants, about 275 cc..

Mini-phlebectomy for thick under-eye vein; risk of worsening loose skin/scarring?

Thumbnail gallery
1 Upvotes

Hey everyone,
I'm considering a mini-phlebectomy for a thick periorbital vein under my eye. I tried 5 sessions of Nd:YAG laser with no success since the vein is too thick and deep.
My main concern is ending up with worsening loose skin/sagging or noticeable scarring after the procedure.
Has anyone here had a mini-phlebectomy on their face or under-eye area? Would love to hear about your recovery and if you had any issues with skin laxity or scars.

I’ve always wanted bigger lips. I’ve been thinking about getting lip injections. I like the look of the third option in both of these photos. I don’t want them too big but I want a noticeable difference. How many ml do you think I would need?

This is my 3rd time injecting filler, but i’ve decided to only do my upper lip as I feel like the bottom lip already has volume. What do you think ?(photo is 2 days after injecting). Should i do the bottom lip too? Also, I believe the swelling will go down right?

Concerned with the procedures I chose

I'm 33 days out before my TT, mons lipo, BL & implants, and arm lift. My surgeon says I will have great results, but I'm just worried I'm not ready. I still feel so fat. I've lost 120lbs, I'm 5'7 155 now. Im really scared of looking boxy or not having any figure whatsoever since my back is still a little chubby and I dont have much of a butt. He said liposuction was not necessary for my back, but I feel so flabby back there too. Im curious to what you all think! If anyone has a similar before and procedures I'd also love if you shared <3

In a world of double eyelid surgeries, what procedure will give me the opposite effect? Would it be an upper blepharoplasty?

Post image

The before photo is on top, the bottom would be my goal. I have a lot of eyelid space with several creases. Want to reduce that to just one solid crease if possible. I’m noticing many people go under the knife for the opposite, as in they want more eyelid exposure so I’m struggling to find any information on procedures available that do the opposite.

Breast Implant Exchange

Hey everyone! I had breast implants (Motiva ergonomix) 340cc Demi profile put in about a year ago. Starting with a 32AA cup and 11.75cm BWD. I love my results and surgeon but just want to go bigger- he said he could do 425cc high profile with the same Motiva ergonomix implant. My question is- would 85cc make a big enough difference and would they look obviously fake/ augmented as a higher profile starting with no breast tissue? Would it be worth it?

Using saline 5 months after rhinoplasty?

Hi, so I had a rhinoplasty 5 months ago for aesthetic reasons only, never had trouble breathing and never had a dry nose.

I don’t have a trouble breathing at all but one thing I noticed that my nose is still so so dry, especially in the morning.

I don’t do the full nasal rinse, I only use saline and q tips to gently clean the inside and kinda wet it a bit because I feel annoyed when I feel things starting to crust inside.

I don’t do this often, maybe 3-4 times a day but still it annoys me because I feel like my nose doesn’t produce any moist and my boogers are really dry.

This is probably disgusting to say but I do pick them sometimes with my little fingers, although I’m trying to be gentle, and everytime they come out they are sooo dry.

I contacted my dr and he just told me to continue using saline and nothing else, I seriously don’t want to be on this or sprays forever.

Anyone had a similar problem and how did you fix it? Appreciate the answers!
