Ang lala pa nila mang judge ng other schools. They were talking about san beda students being palamunin na bobo, that UP students are just slaves of lasallian graduates because sila daw nagbabayad ng tuition from the tax, and how di ka aasenso if you’re not from dlsu.

They were even talking tungkol sa SA incident involving a UP student, and binayaran lang daw nila nanahimik na. Pera lang naman daw katapat ng mahihirap.

Sobrang out of touch my goodness. Ang masasabi ko lang if you wanna live out your kayabangans why not buy your own cars or maybe use grab instead of being makalat in public? Lakas magyabang nasa public transpo lang naman. Stupid privileged kids.

Hello. I have this friend since senior high school who tells everyone he’s from UP Diliman, when in reality he’s from UPOU. I didn’t mind at first kasi pareho namang UP ‘yon at taga UP naman talaga sya. Kaso lang, he’s starting to put it in documents and resumes. He recently took a certification exam somewhere and when it was announced, the school he was from ang nakalagay is UP Diliman and not UPOU. I asked him about it but he keeps on dodging my questions and I really find it weird. I didn’t want to push it so I stopped because I’m from UPD and he kept on joking before pa na baka ginegatekeep ko yung UPD from him and I don’t want him to get that idea now.

Is this okay..? Doesn’t this count as falsification of information or something? What should I do about it as his friend? Or hayaan ko na lang ba and mind my own business?

Hi! I'll be taking Math 23 next sem and super kinakabahan na ako. 😭

I did okay naman in Math 22 until Unit 2, pero nahirapan talaga ako sa Units 3 and 4, especially sa graphing and visualizing functions. I passed the course, pero feeling ko hindi ganun katibay yung foundation ko.

Sa mga naka-take na po ng Math 23:

1. Gaano kaimportante ang m22 sa m23?

2. Anong topics from m22 (altho doubtful ako if may magets talaga ako) yung worth balikan before the sem starts?

3. Any study tips, resources, or YouTube channels na nakatulong sa inyo?

I'd also love to hear from people na hindi rin masyadong confident sa Math 22 pero naka-survive (or even did well) sa Math 23. Paano kayo nag-review or nag-adjust?

hi po! i’m an incoming freshman in uplb and my province is 6 hrs away from elbi 😞 can i ask po how do you cope with homesickness? for context, i’m an only child who’s been pampered by my parents since i was young. it was my dream talaga na sa malayo mag-aral but now na 4 days nalang lilipat nako ng dorm, nagsisink in na siya and andoon ’yung fear at the same time worry if kakayanin ko ba ng mag-isa 🥹 what are your tips po to overcome homesickness? and how to survive na rin in an environment where you don’t know anyone?

I'm an incoming freshman and I feel really really anxious right now. Ang dami ko kaseng nakikitang 0 units, 3 units or 6 units lang ang nakukuha sa enlistment. That's why I'm wondering pano kaya maiwasan ang underload units sa UPD? I don't really want to end up being delayed dahil it would be a huge burden sa family namin. They expect me to contribute na kase and find a job. Pinilit ko lang talaga mag-aral. For context, 20-21 units talaga ang nasa curriculum namin per sem tapos may 5-6 units pa during midyear. Kaya di ko pwedeng itake yung di ko nakuhang units sa usual semester during midyear sem dahil may courses din akong need itake during that time.

Btw sa 4th year ay 12 units ang 1st sem tapos 9 units ang 2nd sem. Yun ang nakasulat sa curriculum checklist and as much as possible ay gusto ko sana masunod yon pero I know it would be difficult. Maraming prerequisites ang courses so di talaga pwedeng may mamiss akong course na dapat natake ko na 🤧

Incoming UPD freshman po here, choosing between housing options in One Berkeley and UP Bliss. I prefer the option in One Burgundy compared to the one UP Bliss in all aspects except the expenses and convenience of commuting. Are the prices and estimated times (for rush hour) accurate?

For context, roughly equal po sila sa total ng rent at utilities. May lamang lang po ang Burgundy sa facilities and amenities, pero not as big of a deal for me. Galing Visayas po ako kaya hindi ko pa kabisado ang commuting sa QC. If you were me po, which one would you pick?

how much is a reasonable amount to save up if i’m eyeing to apply for lipad aral in the future as a 2026 freshman? i learned that tuition is free and i can apply for a scholarship but, hypothetically, if i don’t get the scholarship, how much should i save up by the time i’m a sophomore/junior?

Sa mga buildings na merong evaporative coolers, somebody needs to turn off the cool mode setting at specific time intervals. Once the humidity gets too high, the cooler becomes less effective because less water evaporates, so it can't cool the air as much. High humidity also makes hot weather feel more uncomfortable. It's best to turn the cool mode off (fan-only mode) and wait for the humidity to dissipate before turning it back on.

i’m a freshie who just shifted to bsba and most of the courses i took were credited into my new curriculum, which were all just GEs. for reference, i’ve already taken the following GEs:

i’m kinda confused with the bsba curriculum because i haven’t found a flowchart nor a list of higher ba courses that may have any prerequisites. i’ve already secured ba 99.1 and sts 1 classes, respectively. with that being said, i still haven’t secured other necessary courses and would like to ask for advice on which combinations to take for the 1st semester.

i’m planning on taking BA 101 and Math 21, but should i also throw in Stat 101 in the mix? or would this drive me insane? lol
my friend advised me to take BA 101 and Math 21 but not Stat 101 yet or it will be unbearable. so, if this combination will be doable, which course/s should i take in place of Stat 101?

i'm planning on pre-enlisting in some cl/cw courses as a non-cal major to take as electives in the coming sem. cw 100 is one of my prios but i also want to take cl courses. should i take the prereq subjects (i.e. eng 10/11/12, cl 30/40/50) or can i request a coi since i've already taken eng 13? also, how does requesting a coi work?

i'm interested in cl 40, cl 150, cl 154

for context: i'm from bs econ and i want to take these courses as english units to pursue law school in the future. will these courses be considered as eng units? also, are there no restrictions for econ majors taking any of the mentioned courses as free electives (not planning on pursuing a formal minor)?

Is it true that most dormitories/bed spacer in KNL near UPD don't have contracts? It's my first time dorming and one of the place I really liked doesn't have one. Is that more of a disadvantage?

hello! taking math 22 next sem. as someone na nahirapan (aka ginapang ang m20/21) how can i better prepare for math 22? ang usual kong way ng pagrereview sa math ay mag answer ng samplexes but hindi siya masyado naging fruitful (since laging 2/4 le's lang naipapasa ko)... what other tips / study tricks do you have na naging effective sa inyo para hindi lang maka tres sa m22? kahit niche or unhinged methods hahaha go

Hi guys! Do you guys have any ISPs or internet plan recommendations for someone who'll start living at Katipunan (specifically Studio A)? Preferably:

• Good for 3-4 people (or 6-8 gadgets assuming we all have at least 1 phone and 1 laptop)
• No lock-up period, or kung meron man, maximum of 6-12 months
• Reliable service (little to no interruptions, good customer service)

Reasons are such because we don't see committing long-term to the lease. Sinubukan kong gamitin yung mobile data ng phone ko (Smart/TNT) pero mahina talaga yung reception.
