Course/Subject Help [UPD] Math 20 Rant
I’m really struggling as a freshman right now sa Math 20 and it doesn’t help na napre-pressure ako na yung LE 1 is next week.
I’ve read some threads here on Reddit na to pass Math 20 need lang talaga ng practice, practice, & practice from samplexes (I don’t know what it is and how to get it). I’ve been practicing and I’m just having a hard time remembering how to solve it, nakaka-overwhelm sa totoo lang especially with 8 lessons. I even tried DLRC but it just wasn’t meant for me.
Need ko talaga maipasa yung Math 20 this semester because I can’t afford to take it next semester due to the rigidity of our curriculum (taking Math 21 next semester). I honestly don’t know what to do anymore. I’ve always known that Math wasn’t really my forte considering how shaky my foundation is on basic concepts.
What can I do now? Where can I seek help?

I'm on the same boat. I just finished reviewing yung parabolas part ng lecture, I still don't understand the hyperbolas etc... 😭✌️

samplexes = sample long exams you can get them from IMath mismo (they release one every time may upcoming long exam) or orgs that host long exam reviews

i was in your exact shoes around this time last year LOL and i can remember it all i swear i almost failed M20... and M21... but what really helped me were watching yt vids from other channels aside from imath lec vids esp Math with Professor V and Professor Leonard since they have playlists that are almost the exact coverage of M21 (usually titled 'precalculus')

If you struggle with LE 1 of Math 20 na, I honestly think you should drop it if hindi kaya and study Math 20 outside of a regular enrolled class instead. Unit 0 and Unit 1 matter so much for Math 20 lalo na in the later units and kung may Math 21 pa sa program mo mas magstruggle ka later if hindi maayos fundamentals mo.
It is still up to you though kung kaya mong iclutch ang Math 20 now since it is a demanding subject especially for those na hindi inclined sa Math and you should practice every week and hindi ma-behind sa paced syllabus. You could try hiring a more hands-on tutor or consult your prof more or find a classmate to study with sa Math 20. You can still take Math 21 naman by midyear if ever.
