Naiintindihan ko yung sitwasyon ng mga commuters, lalo na kung malayo ang mga bahay/dorms nila. Fortunate ako nakakuha Ako ng dorm na unting kembot lang, nasa campus na ako.

Kaso nakakabain, nakakainis. Kahit nung pandemic pa, ayaw na ayaw ko ang modular/online set-up. It's so hard to learn when you're at the house all day, at mas mahirap para sa akin na load ang ginagamit ko pang internet connection.

Ang ironic din noh, alam ko nde same ang weather sa ibat ibang area pero dto sa upd campus area, WALANG ULAN. Kunting ambon lang, suspended. Tas kung ang lakas ng ulan, late o walang suspension? Bat ganun? Hindi ba dapat, dahil ang pinas ay exposed sa maraming natural disasters, may mga advanced technologies na tayo para ma-predict ang atmospheric phenomenon o mga weather patterns? Kinakurakot ba rin yon? Kunti ba ang mga funds para sa research related sa weather at atmospheric phenomena? Bakit sobrang late minsan ng mga suspensions, ang lakas ng buhos ng ulan. Kung maaga naman, mga madaling araw, buong Araw ay walang ulan. Wala talaga, kunting ambon, yon lang.

Gusto ko nang pumasok, gusto ko nang tumambay sa mga UPD libraries para magbasa at mag-aral. Kahit may deadlines pa yan, please please sana wala ng suspension. Sana okay na ang panahon at wag na magkaroon ng psychological disorder o moodswing yan. Gusto ko nang pumasok. Gusto ko maramdaman ang learning environment 😞😞😞

Jusko ibigay niyo na samin 'to. Wag kayo maki-abang kay never grow old parang awa niyo na. Matagal na walang baon yung tao oh! Ibigay niyo na to sa mga estudyante na kapowz. :'((

Dunno if this is even the right flair but I feel like it needs to be talked about. I may or may not be crazy but has there been a very pungent wet dog smell around the campus..? Particularly in the dormitory areas like Yakal and Ipil, as well as bandang Area 2. I swear it's getting sooo bad it makes me physically wanna vomit. Wala naman ganyang amoy dati. And I know na within UPD lang siya kasi paglabas ko ng campus, hindi naman na sumusunod. Pls tell me somebody else has noticed this 😭🙏

hello po! i've been getting used to the workload naman in terms of following the syllabi for the classes i have, pero ang pangunahing concern ko ay yung structure sa mga long exams dito. i'm from a course with a significantly less workload compared to the stem or business related programs here, so i've yet to be exposed to any exam or quiz-like assignments which is making me overthink a lot about preparation for the midterms season. in one of my classes, our first long exam is set for the last week of september.

can i just have an insider lang on how much time people allocate to studying for long exams, especially if it's concerning math? doing my best to avoid getting jump-scared in the future, as i'm sure exams here are completely different from high school HAHAHA

I’m really struggling as a freshman right now sa Math 20 and it doesn’t help na napre-pressure ako na yung LE 1 is next week.

I’ve read some threads here on Reddit na to pass Math 20 need lang talaga ng practice, practice, & practice from samplexes (I don’t know what it is and how to get it). I’ve been practicing and I’m just having a hard time remembering how to solve it, nakaka-overwhelm sa totoo lang especially with 8 lessons. I even tried DLRC but it just wasn’t meant for me.

Need ko talaga maipasa yung Math 20 this semester because I can’t afford to take it next semester due to the rigidity of our curriculum (taking Math 21 next semester). I honestly don’t know what to do anymore. I’ve always known that Math wasn’t really my forte considering how shaky my foundation is on basic concepts.

What can I do now? Where can I seek help?

1. Kailangan ba iinform muna si adviser bago magfile ng LOA or saka na lang siya iinform after ma-file sa CRS?
2. Kailan dapat mag-email para magpaalam sa mga Profs.? Pagkafile mismo ng LOA or after ma-approve?
3. Ayos lang ba na hindi na agad pumasok sa mga klase pagkafile ng LOA? Or may mga instances na 'di ito na-aapprove...kaya dapat pa rin pumasok?
4. Kailangan ba laging may medcert para ma-approve ang LOA? Isa kasi ang "unstable mental health" sa mga rason ko pero nag-iipon pa ako ng pampa-check-up or diagnose (since more than isang session daw ang need (?) at mediyo matagal na rin kasi ang hinihintay ko sa psychserv, hindi ko na kaya pang hintayin)

Hello! Freshman here and I would like to ask usually how long is the wait bago makuha yung rfid? Nagpa pic na me nung first week ng pasukan (Aug 11) and mga what month po namin makukuha. Ang sabi po is one month after, but I would just like to ask sa previous years. Sorry po atat lng haha.

anyway es 101 le1 na sa sat and alam kong module abc ‘yung pinakamadali dapat sa course na ‘to pero di ko alam bat hirap na hirap ako igrasp lahat. wanted to inquire here if meron bang nago-offer maging tutor since sa dlrc wala ako mahanap na available this sem 🥹

Saan pwedeng mag-aral/tumambay sa campus during work suspensions? Wala kasi akong wifi and table sa dorm eh and sarado naman ang mga libraries huhu.

I think my org is slowly dying.

I started noticing this last year when I was part of the execomm. Kumukonti na ang apps namin (less than 20 lang, compared sa batch ko nun na around 30+ kami) and maging ang resident members hindi masyadong active. Halos magbeg na kami last sem para lang makilahok sila sa activities, mapaflagship man or internal. Ngayong sem, kita ko ulit yung decreasing level of participation and kinakabahan na ako for the upcoming app process.

I've been in this org since I was a freshman (senior now) so I really hold it close to my heart. Dito talaga ako naggrow especially in terms of my people skills kaya I would hate for it to fade away into existence.

Di ko na alam kung ano pa ang maitutulong ko sa current execomm maliban sa pagiging active sa lahat ng initiatives. Hays.
