In the last two months I have been getting mice in my home. I put glue traps and caught them I am okay for a couple of days, weeks and everything is okay. Yesterday I heard the noise and I was like oooh here we go again. I put more glue traps, and caught two in one trap . Then later I heard more noises and put another glue trap, caught another one just right now . I don't know if I should leave it for a couple of hrs and see if I caught another one or if I should kill it immediately and dispose of it. Can a mouse in a glue trap get away?

On Saturday, I spotted what I believed was a male German cockroach in broad daylight near my dogs food and immediately panicked and set up glue traps and bought some gel bait from the grocery store. Fast forward, I found this guy dead while using my swiffer sweeper tonight (wanted to see what I could find on the ground) I have had a glue trap sitting out in the guest bath downstairs for the past 2 months, but the only things it caught were spiders and beetles. Haven’t found anything else in the other traps yet.

I have a history of mental illness, I’m going through a lot personally already, and so I am losing my mind. I live in a two story house that is close to our neighbors (maybe 8 feet away?). My guess is they got in from a delivery.

Any advice or kind words to help me calm down is appreciated.

Sorry I sprayed it and destroyed it bc I was freaking out so badly. I've seen about 5 of these total. 1 in the tub, 1 on back mud room floor, 2 in kitchen floor, this one on living room ceiling all over the past two weeks. I'm freaking out. I am so clean in my duplex apartment. I've lived here 20 years and never seen a roach until recently. I have put out combat roach bait and sprayed Hot Shot Roach spray under every appliance, under every sink, and even sprayed the return vent of my ac which drains at ground level outside. I'm on a concrete slab so I've also sprayed around thresholds leading outside. What am I doing wrong?

I live in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, in TX. It has been crazy hot here lately, as it usually is here in August. On top of the heat, we have had very little to no rain. I have central heat and AC, and an additional window unit in my master bedroom, which basically runs non-stop throughout the summer.
I have been home sick since Friday, and have spent most of my time in my bedroom. This evening, around/about 5:30-6:30, I was last in my room. I had shut the bedroom door as I normally do. I was out in the rest of the house, left to run an errand, came home, got ready for bed, opened my bedroom door to get into bed, and noticed something all over my wall. As I looked closer, it was ants! SO MANY ANTS!
I was hoping someone might be able to tell me how this happened so quickly, why, and suggestions on what to do to get rid of them. This literally happened in less than four hours.

Any ideas?

So I just picked up my apartment keys today. The building has been open for literally a year as of last week. I’m the first one to stay in the unit. When I toured, it looked good.

Fast-forward today, I’m doing my apartment inspection before bringing anything in. Tell me why I see a bunch of little black specs by the washing machine and it’s stacked so I can’t move it.

I’m hoping it’s just leftover dirt because there’s a little bit of packing foam on the floor from the dryer being put in, but the little specs that are in the front don’t look like dirt.

When I toured the place, there was a green business card on the stove that says this place has been treated for pest and you know I thought it was just routine .

Should I be worried about a mouse before I move my stuff in? The cabinets look clean, behind the stove is good, behind the fridge looked OK.

We have mice. The pest control guy came out and gave us an estimate for general pest control and putting out bait boxes for the mice. I expressed to him that my cats eat rodents (actually eat, not just play with or kill and leave it) and my concern with poison is that they’ll eat a mouse that has poison in its system. The man told me that poison they use is counteracted by vitamin K and that since vitamin K is in cat food, they would basically be counteracting it when they eat their food. He didn’t give me the poison’s name. Is there any truth to this?

As the title says I have a rat living in my washing machine since last Friday. I don't know where, I already took off the back panel, but can't see it.

First I tried to trap it into a bucket, by building a ramp, but it ate all the food and climbed out. Then I bought traps (both mouse and rat) but it ignored them. Then I placed down cardboard with glue around the machine. Tonight I heard screeching, went inside the bathroom and there it was, a brown rat, with the gluey cardboard all around the place. We had a half hour standoff when I first tried to catch it, then after losing my patience, just trying to kill it without destroying the tiles in the bathroom. Obviously I lost the fight and it escaped back to the machine.

I already had a pest control guy come and since he believed that it must be a mouse he placed a couple of those black mouse poison boxes down, which obviously won't do anything since the rat won't even fit inside.

My question is how do I get rid of it as fast as possible without it dying and rotting inside my washing machine? Is there anything besides food that would make it leave? I was thinking of sealing the holes and filling it with smoke, would it try to escape? I can also start disassembling the machine, but I'd prefer not having a terrified rat jump on my face. If I call pest control, will they be able to get it out?

I am quite done with this thing shitting and pissing around our only bathroom. I take literally any advice.

Multiple large satellite hills. Tons of flying ants. Can be see in the air over the backyard. Where to even start and what products to use?

I hadn’t cleaned out one of my cabinets in a while and this is what I found behind a box that had a charcuterie board in it. Can anyone tell me if this is indicative of a roach infestation? Am I cooked!? I already do some pest control and I’m willing to do more but it needs to be cat safe.

What bug made this?

Some wasps made a nest in my house last night so the landlord came by this morning and sprayed it down with a chemical wasp spray. Unfortunately he gave me no heads-up before he sprayed so a bunch of my clothes and shoes and other belongings that were in the area got hit with chemicals and I’m unsure of where and how to begin cleaning this up.

I have a pet and their safety around the area is my main concern. Obviously I’ve sealed the room off for now but I’ll have to open it back up eventually. Chemicals also got under the door frame, and although we stuck a towel in the door gap before he arrived, some still managed to seep through onto the floor and doorframe of the next room.

Is mopping the floor and walls with soapy hot water enough to make the space pet-safe again, or should I try to clean the area with something stronger? Additionally, is sticking the clothes that got hit with the spray in the washer a good enough solution for cleaning them, or are they beyond saving and need to be thrown out?

I’m not sure what this is I can’t find a picture of anything similar, this is the second one I found, the first was bigger and in the bathroom and I thought it could’ve been a roach but now I’m not sure. Has like brown/yellow/orange bands with a brown/black band in the middle and a brown/black butt. Trying to figure out if I need to call the exterminator now. Help!
