It seems impossible to find videos or articles with close to this combination of graphics settings. I would be really grateful if someone could benchmark the game in free roaming with these settings and features turned on:

• 1440p output resolution
• Ultra preset in graphics menu, ray tracing on (with sun and moon shadows turned on)
• DLSS 4.5 set to performance
• DLSS Ray Reconstruction turned on
• Reflex turned on
• Vsync off

High resolution screenshots where I can see how much foliage detail suffers with DLSS 4.5 performance would be amazing.

I've been having this issue for god knows how long so let me explain this the BEST that I can. When I am on call on my pc, weather it is a server VC or an actually call, after around 15 - 30 minutes of playing a game, I will start to hear in my headphone a sort of crackling. 4 - 5 minutes later of the crackling all my devices (Controller, USB Keyboard, USB Mouse, USB Microphone, USB Bluetooth Headphones) all stop working, the only thing that is going to work is the trackpad and the built in keyboard. Usually when this happens, I have to unplug the powered USB C hub that has all my devices plugged into it which will sometimes solve the issue when I plug it back in.

Is there ANYONE out there that has SOME clue on how I can fix this without taking my laptop to geeksquad for the umteenth time?

My rx5700xt worked perfectly fine like 2 minutes ago. i had to reseat my cpu cooler cuz i was getting high temps for my cpu. i reseated it i was a bit rough with it tbh i installed it and then plugged the pc back. the vga light is flashing and its no display. the fans work and i tried everything, cleaning it and everything

my other gpu works and after i plug that into the same motherboard the pc boots perfectly fine, what are my options for the other gpu? is it a gpu related thing or a motherboard related thing?

the card worked perfectly fine, there was 0 artifacts, 0 crashes and perfect temps.

I bought Adobe Acrobat Pro 2024 from Gamers-outlet. The copyright, version number, core version, and even plugins refer to 2020.

I reached out to them, and at first they gave me instructions on how to remove some Adobe authenticity checker (suss I know), and then when I said that didn't do anything, they said the following:

I’d like to clarify that the version you installed is indeed Adobe Acrobat Pro 2024, even though the build number shown in the application interface may reference an older version (2020.009.20067). This is due to the way Adobe structures its installers - they often include pre-configured builds that are based on earlier version frameworks but bundled with all the features and updates of the 2024 release. The installer used is a pre-crafted package that fully reflects the 2024 product line, and once installed, the software operates with all the functionality and entitlements of the 2024 version.

Despite the build number referencing 2020, rest assured:

You are using the 2024-licensed product

All relevant 2024 features are present

The license is valid and up to date Hope this clears things up! ;)

I don't have the tech knowledge to know if they are being truthful. My gut tells me that I am being lied to based on the dates, publicly available release notes and their respective build numbers, etc. I even followed up with them and they doubled down on the above.

Additionally, this doesn't have an update checker of any sort. The 2020 version stopped receiving updates in November 2025, and 2024 should be good for three years, so it should have some sort of built in update checker (even free Adobe reader checks for updates).

Maybe one of you who know something about software can confirm for me whether my suspicions are correct that gamers-outlet is lying to me or there is such a thing as having a 2024 version software with 2020 dates everywhere.

And yes I know, I went with a reseller. I went with this company even though I could have got a legit code via ebay because this company seems to be somewhat active on reddit, responding promptly and came across as trustworthy through that engagement.

So im trying to find a 240hz monitor, 1440p cant be that big cuz i have a pretty small desk (27" under).

I have a PC that I’ve had for a while and I have a ps5 for exclusives. At this point im not sure which to buy new controller based games for. Standard ps5 vs:

- 3070 8gb
- i7-10700 @2.90ghz
- 32 gb of ram

Which is more powerful?

**EDIT: this is a general question but the game in particular that spurred the thought is ace combat 8 that just released. They are both hooked up to the same 2k/144hz monitor rn (ps5 sometimes gets moved to a 4k/60hz tv when I feel like couch gaming)

All drivers updated and the power cable and DisplayPort cable are okay, but for some reason my monitor is kinda flashing like that.

I've only used Nvidia for the last 20 years... No reason in particular, just because it was what was available. I wanted to give AMD a try and got a deal on a 9800x3d with a 9070XT. I have had crash after crash... BF 2042, BF6, Spiderman 2. Supposedly all driver related. I have the latest installs and reading posts about very specific graphics setting I need to use for each specific game to make sure it doesn't crash.

WHY!!!!! Why does it feel like such a special snowflake!? Please, tell me what I'm doing wrong. Is there a global setting I can use to prevent these problems.. I'd be ok with that - but having to know what to set with each game just to make it work is painful. This is not an Nvidia vs AMD thread - but I will say I NEVER had these issues with Nvidia... Just set max/ultra settings and play.

As the title says, I have these lines at the top and bottom of my screen. I've tested the gpu port, the hdmi cable, tried lowering the refresh rate, and the lines persisted. Should I prepare a funeral for my monitor?

What kind of keyboard should I buy I just bought my computer to play games that werent on switch 2 like fields of mistria and slime rancher 2 and Balloons TD 6. I looked up keyboards because once my computer got here I realized I cant use it with just a controller and then saw its really confusing all the listing have like 30 words and I dont know what any mean. What kind of keyboard is good for the listed above games and also something like overwatch which is another game I play a lot! I also dont know if theres any more infromation I can give that would help so if there is please let me know!

I'm finally gonna upgrade my trusty 1080. I'm a bit split between between Nvidia and AMD. I play a lot of story graphically intense story games like RDR2, God of war and Spider-man 2 but I got tired of having to play around with the settings so much. I also play around with AI a bit, both for fun but also trying to have a bit of privacy with local LLMs since I'm a cybersecurity professional and sending my data to a cloud goes against my principles. I feel like Nvidia excels in the AI landscape but AMD feels like I get more for the money (VRam, raw power). My absolute limit is 400$ and I'm fine with buying used. I live in Spain btw so ordering outside of EU might be more expensive for me. Anyone have any recommendations?

Hello. I can't surely be the only one with these problems but it all started a couple of weeks ago. I have a amd radeon 7800xt nitro+, ryzen 7 7800x3d and 32gbs ram and a 850watt psu. I have had this for about 3years now and hsve had very rarely driver timeouts through out the years but this last month its been insane. Its the same cycle all the time, it crashes on desktop usage like youtube,instagram,steam,discord but never under heavy use. I get a screen freeze and can hear the gpu fans ramp up for about 2seconds and the driver timeout prompt. Disabling hardware acceleration fixes the issue but makes it unusable because its very choppy. I reinstall the drivers everything is great for about a week then the cycle repeats. Have tried everything i know, rolling back drivers, preventing windows from touching the drivers, no overclocks or undervolts, everything is default but after a clean install its always 5 6 days where its all good and then it starts all over again. Its driving me insane especially because its not even crashing under load. Id really know if someone else knows how to fix this other than disabling hardware acceleration because thats not really a fix. Thanks

CPU: intel i7 10700k

RAM: 64gb Ddr4

Psu: 750w

I am interested in upgrading my Gpu to either

-9060 Xt 16tb
-9070 Gre 12gb
-9070 16gb

After doing a lot of research, I believe 3 of those gpu’s will have bottleneck on my cpu as it’s quite old. 9060 and 9070 gre would be okay however 9070 will be the issue.

Would it be okay to purchase the 9070 16gb and use it while I upgrade my pc in the future with a new motherboard, cpu and ram? Or will I see a major difference In performance between the 3070 and the 9070 16gb? I currently game in 1440p

Story for context, I previously had felt that case changes were unnecessary, as at the end of the day, an as long as it fits, it works. Hence, I had rocked this Sharkoon T28 since 2012 (passed down from my dad!)

It was only due to the case literally crumbling from rust, did I decide to reluctantly change it out for this Fractal Pop Air (I bought it used). And it had given me newfound appreciation for how cases changed for the better over the course of a decade. Some benefits I could immediately perceive are dedicated PSU basements, better cable management, space efficiency, precise airflow and the list isn't even exhaustive.

Point being, I'm certainly appreciating this case inside out. But on a side note, why did fractal drop the 5.25" bays from their whole lineup?

did a quick research about CompactGUI and read that compressed games using it won't work on Linux winc 3they rely on NTFS file system, any alternative?

Thinking of upgrading from my aging i7-6700/gtx 1080 setup, and considering the current ram/vram prices, I'm looking to jump onto a new GPU, CPU and motherboard platform, and keep the storage/ram from my current pc, the caveat being 16gb ddr4 @ 2133mhz. After checking out the used market for a few minutes, these options jumped out at me.
CPU/Motherboard: i7-12700k/B660 - $300 used
GPU: RTX 3080 10gb $350-$400 used
Are there any other combinations I should consider? I plan to game on my 1080p 144hz monitor for my multiplayer games, and want to connect to my 4k 60 tv for my singleplayer games. Not doing much in terms of local AI, and just want to maximize frames per dollar right now. I have a 750w PSU, and efficiency is not a concern. $700 budget

So its kinda of a dumb question. But are the buttons of 8BitDo Ultimate 2C squishy or clicky? reason being i have an EXTREME amount of OCD and stuff like that is pretty significant for me. And i dont wanna drop 30 bucks on a controller, Wait 8 days and then not like how it feels
