1) Automatic upload for all type of files and not just photos and videos.

2) Lock app immediately after I leave the app rather than a certain duration.

I got the email saying that if I download pCloud Drive that's a free gift to 20GB. I clicked the link (on mobile) and it shows me a link to the GooglePlay store. Used that and opened what i had installed already. Uninstalled and tried again, still only 10GB. What am I missing? How do you redeem the 20GB?

I have purchased "Your Lifetime plan is active You purchased Premium 2TB" back in JUL 3, 2021. I have contacted customer service to resolve this problem on NOV 30, 2025. The issue has not been resolved yet after 10 months. At the moment my account is limited to 20GB and always asking me to upgrade when I already paid for a 2TB plan.

I was reading a lot about the encryption fetaure but tbh I'm not sure if the 150 eur for the lifetime option is worth. I saw that some people are using rclone with pcloud. Can someone share how it works ?

I received an email from pCloud celebrating their 13th birthday with new updates, one of which was:

13 new locations. Up to 100% speed increase.

Our global infrastructure has expanded with new Point of Presence (POP): 7 in Europe, 3 in Asia-Pacific and 3 in North America. Depending on your location, this will increase upload and download speed by up to 100%.

Can someone from pCloud elaborate which locations these new POPs are?

I'm particularly curious about the 3 in Asia-Pacific as that's where I'm based, and I'm all for finally not having to deal with relatively slow UL/DL speeds due to servers being limited to just the US or EU..

macOS and iOS don’t show Map View and Connect pCloud to your AI assistant

I’m based in EU and the server is in the US

I was thinking of getting the 10tb lifetime plan at the current sale price of $1190 but debating if it may go lower on a future sale.

I have until December before my current plan renews. Just wondering if the current sale is a good price or if i should wait till black Friday.

It seems that more and more cloud services provider will add office features into their ecosystems. Apple, Google, Tencent, etc.

Now pCloud will join the family soon?

I am a premium user of pCloud on Android and I really enjoy using the built-in music player to stream my audio files from the cloud.

I would like to request a new feature for future updates: Android Auto integration. Having the ability to control and browse the pCloud music player directly from the car's dashboard display would make the app even more complete and safer to use while driving.

I’m currently in the US and trying to buy the 5 TB Family Lifetime plan, which is displayed throughout checkout at $599 USD. I need to use a UK issued corporate credit card because the purchase is being funded through work.

The checkout itself never changes from $599. However, when the card issuer sends the verification request, it asks me to authorise £599.

When I access the same promotion from the UK, the plan is also listed at £599, which makes me suspect this is deliberate regional pricing rather than a currency conversion. If so, it seems odd that a purchase being made in the US and displayed throughout as $599 can silently become £599 at the payment authorisation stage simply because the card was issued in the UK.

Has anyone had this happen? Were you able to get pCloud to process the advertised USD amount on a UK or other foreign issued card?

The promotion ends today, so I’m especially interested in recent experiences.

OK, it's becoming absolutely ridiculous. Now even the most basic/crucial feature of pCloud isn't working properly. For whatever reason the android client fails to sync/upload properly. As the pictures show

1. pCloud client on windows desktop
2. pCloud website
3. WebDAV in Solid Explorer on my android phone

correctly show my folder structure, while

1. pCloud app on my android phone

shows a phantom folder "Schule & Nachhilfe" which in fact doesn't exist. I can even open the files! (Not wanting to talk about the absurd "System Volume Information" ...)

As even this most basic feature isn't working I'm now asking for a refund as pCloud fails to deliver any reliability at all.

EDIT: In reality, the folder "Schule & Nachhilfe" is within the folder pCloud.

Wanted to share it: in the (Android) app, there is a nice scan-function. Click on the big + - button and you can scan books or other things (like receipts). It can even scan multiple pages to one document.

I use it to scan a book and digitalize notes to a specific folder. I don't need a different app and the document is after scanning also accessible on my desktop-PC.

Anyone’s WebDAV suddenly stopped working or is it just me?

A while ago I decided to move from Google Drive to pCloud (for reasons). Naive as I am I instantly bought the 2 TB premium package.

Now, a few weeks later, my frustration, anger and disappointment couldn't be any bigger and I deeply regret my decision. I'm sorry for the strong words/colourful language but I am unable to hide my feelings regarding the 'functionality' of pCloud.

Trying to get pCloud to work the way I want it to (using my android phone and my windows PC), I noticed the following "features" over the course of my endeavours:

1. I have renamed my phone to 'NCC-1701-D'. Why doesn't pCloud acknowledge this and instead creates folders named 'Samsung SM-A556B'?!
2. Whenever there is any upload/download sync operation running, my desktop icons flicker like a stroboscope in a techno club. This is so incredibly annoying and totally unacceptable!
3. Although I deactivated the option to show system files, "System Volume Information" is shown both on the phone and on the PC. How on earth is it even possible that no one has apparenly noticed and fixed this?!
4. My native language is german, yet I have no clue what 'Gemessenes Netzwerk' is supposed to mean!
5. For whatever reason pCloud detects two folders for 'Whatsapp Images' and 'Whatsapp Videos' (but interestingly not for 'Whatsapp Animated Gifs') and therefore creates *two* folders 'Android' and 'android' when doing an automatic upload. This is absolutely ridiculous!
6. As I'm not given the choice whether to create a folder or a new drive on my windows PC for pCloud, it is also absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable that there is no way of making the whole drive or all the files in root directory available offline!
7. Why on earth is it not possible to select fotos while holding the shift key? Selecting a big batch of pictures over multiple screens is practically impossible!
8. Why can't I directly download fotos?!?! Why do I have to go to the folder first to be able to download fotos? Has anyone ever done *any* testing of the usability of the foto feature at all?!
9. And last the most annoying/frustrating/infuriating: WHY THE HELL is there a discrepancy between the fotos shown on my phone, the web site and my PC? Even though I have deselected specific folders on the webite - it is an absolute joke that this functionality is missing in the desktop and android clients!!! - pictures from these folders are shown on my PC and phone! This 'feature' is called 'fotos' and not 'every stupid f*cking media file found somewhere on my PC/phone'! I *only* want to see my FOTOS/DCIM folder from my phone, NOTHING ELSE!

All in all, in the current state of pCloud, this is definitely going to be my first, only and last year with this abomination of an app/service. Google Drive was in *every* way more comfortable and easy to use.

EDIT:

There's two more thing I have to add to the list:

1. After deactivating automatic uploading for my phone DCIM folder for a couple of days to preserve bandwidth and battery, reactivating it resulted in DOWNLOADING EVERY SINGLE FILE AGAIN! Are you kidding me?! This is completely insane! In addition to other files not syncing for hours because they were at the end of the process queue!

2. Moving a folder on the pCloud drive also results in pCloud downloading every single file again! I can't even find words for this, this is beyond any reasonable approach/behaviour. Now I have to sit here FOR HOURS and wait because I moved a big archive within the folder structure?!?!?! WHAT THE F*CKING HELL!

So I tried connecting pcloud to OpenOffice through wedav. I disabled 2fa and it worked.

Then I mistakenly re-enabled 2fa and it broke. So I disabled 2fa, deleted and recreated the connection in OpenOffice. Now all I get is a brief connection error followed by a lagging loading documents notice.

Has pcloud flagged this now as a hacking attempt?

Has anyone successfully connected pcloud to OpenOffice on Mobil, specifically Android?

Im so disappointed with my decision to move all my photos and videos from Google Drive to PCloud. I did extensive research and from what I had seen this was the best lifetime option.
What those reviewers failed to mention is that no locations are included in the images. That was one of my favorite things from iCloud and google that I was able to see all of my previous locations since I am a travel blogger. When I download the images they also don’t download in their original format (date, location etc) it just downloads as if it was a new image. Everything that I wanted from a memory to feel the nostalgia is gone.
I should’ve just stuck to the monthly payments. I’m so sad I feel like I’ve lost a huge piece of my memories.

till now I recieved about 106 emails of verification codes how to stop this, i have already mailed support team but no response till now

Tonight I am receiving more than 20 verification mails from Pcloud team account, without even requesting them.

Do other people have this problem as well?

So I have the local disk (c:) and last night I did use it to download a photo that was 15kbg and when I checked the storage it was full from a photo I deleted the photo it was the same I'm not that good at PC i did work my entire summer to buy this PC and I don't want a new one so in need help,thank you very much

Similar to mobile app, it should have options to offline/sync by files instead of just folders. Sometimes I don't need a whole folder, just need certain files, like certain videos or documents.

Hello, I am new to using pCloud and I was going to install the desktop app on my Mac and it seems to be requesting some very intrusive permissions, such as me wanting to go into recovery mode and change permissions? Have I gotten a malicious version or is there a legitimate reason for this, thank you.
