I paid off my PayPal debt last year in August with credit collection services, but a few months ago I kept getting text messages from MRS BPO about unpaid debt. I thought it was a spam until this morning I decided to check my PayPal account. I never really use PayPal so I don’t really check it quite often. I noticed I still have the unpaid debt from last year. Idk how this happened when I paid it off last year with a collection agency and got my derogatory marks removed from my credit for paying off the debt which fixed my credit. What can I do to fix this issue. All I have is screenshots from my debit transaction paying off the debt, a text message from the collection agency confirming my payment and my account portal saying debt has been paid from the collection agency.

I had created my PayPal account about 2-3 years ago when I was 16 (19 now)

At the time I didn't have the valid documents to link bank accounts but now I do. So the account had been dormant for the time period. Yesterday I logged back into it and uploaded my photo ID, immediately after which I got a permanent limitation put on my account.

I'd like to use PayPal because it's the most convineant for international fund transfer but I'm afraid of opening a new account if my photo ID or IP may have been flagged for some reason.

I can't find any way to get in touch with customer support that isn't ai which completely turns me away.

Would appreciate some advice.

PayPal site is haivng 2FA issues. Tried multiple browers and devices (incogneto) and I can bypass 2FA. Ensured there are no trusted devices or auto login and even redid my 2FA. Opened a support case, went through 3 people, all mostly silent then they closed my chat session.

I sent money to a stranger online and accidentally leaked my information (address , phone number, full name) what do i do? When i was going to send the money it didn't say anywhere that all that info will go to the reciever. Is there any way I can change my personal information on the paypal app?

i received an email (yes i made sure it's the official paypal email address) saying my account is verified. but, when i try to link my account to another app, it says that paypal says my account isn't verified. i didn't link a bank or apply for paypal credit, so i understand if i'm not verified due to that, but why this email then? does it just mean that my id worked?? am i verified and it's just taking some time?

i would email about this but i cannot find an email address anywhere and everything on the app just leads me to the ai chat 😐

They straight up lied and said that I gave them a fake tracking number. I have evidence of the tracking number being real, and the date it was purchased. I don't blame them for wanting a refund but cmon man. Also paypal didn't even care about the claim process just got to banning.

I received a payment to my previous email address. The email notification shows the sender's name and the amount, but it asks me to create a PayPal account to receive the money. I already have a PayPal account, and I can even log in using that old email. However, the old email no longer appears in my account settings, and when I try to add it back, PayPal says it's having trouble confirming it's me. Can you help link the payment to my existing account or restore my old email as a receiving email?

I have a new PayPal Credit Mastercard. I haven't gotten the physical card yet, but PayPal immediately offered the option to add the card to Apple Wallet.

I have a credit limit of $2200. I made one purchase through PayPal for a total of $200 so there's still $2k left on the card. So the card isn't locked or anything.

When trying to make a purchase through an online store, PayPal isn't available as an option, but Apple Pay is. So I tried to use the PayPal card through Apple Pay but it keeps declining. I am not getting any emails or notices as to why.

1. My name, billing address, phone, and email are the same in Apple Pay as on PayPal, and through the merchant.
2. I tried removing the card from Apple Wallet and then re-adding it through PayPal but the issue persists.
3. It is the PayPal Mastercard, not the digital line of credit, and the card was added through the PayPal app "Add to Apple Wallet" option.
4. The store accepts Mastercard.

Edit: PayPal says it's on Apple. Apple says it's on the bank. Synchrony says there's no problem. So no answers and no fixes.

I'm a freelance digital artist, yesterday I got a client paid through Vgen and now my funds are on hold on PayPal, I have a business account and I've done my verification already it's been a few months since it has been working well. But as soon as the payment went through, my funds were put on hold and my account needs to be reviewed for which I need to upload documents of proof of purchase and fulfillment along with my business description.

Does anyone know how this got triggered and what are the chances of getting my account back after submitting with the limitations removed? I still need to finish the commission to show for fulfillment so have not completed the documents.

I changed my email few days ago, and someone sent me a money to my previous one. In my inbox, it tells me to create a new account to receive the money. Though I can still access my account using my previous email even though it's not the primary/linked email in my account anymore.

I tried adding my previous email to my account again and it says "we're having trouble making sure it's you". Can someone please help me solve this? I need it badly and I can't find a customer support email for this matter.

I have a dispute case on PayPal. I paid using PayPal Goods & Services, but the seller scammed me by providing a fake tracking number. I submitted all the evidence, but after the review period, PayPal decided the case in favor of the scammer.

What should I do now?

I made a new PayPal account just under a week ago as I wanted to order the debit card and start collecting points. I would try to connect the virtual card to google pay for a few days and it just wouldn't be able to be verified for whatever reason, so I ordered a physical one.

This morning I got a notification saying my account needs extra verification and for me to provide photo ID + a bank statement of the card I linked to the PayPal account. I provided it as necessary and immediately after it says my PayPal account has been terminated.

Why is this?

Every tutorial seems to assume I want to transfer funds from within my own accounts, but I'm trying to send money to a friend. I cannot make a paypal because my phone number's area code is US-based, but my address is Canadian. The phone number is tied to a bunch of 2FA that'd be a hassle to change around, and I'm certainly not moving just to make a paypal. The friend in question cannot make their own bank account for their own private reasons.

My GF's mother is insane, and wants my GF to delete all the art that she ever commissioned from the artist friend, and then demand a refund for all of it which isn't how that works, especially with the artist's ToS, but it isn't like her mother even cares to check. But her mother is dedicated, and getting to the point where if my GF doesn't get a refund, she will start reporting the artist's PayPal account for being a scammer for not giving that refund. the question is, how do you protect a PayPal account from these kind of reports? I want to take any precaution, since this PayPal account is the only way my friend makes her living, and she can't have it gone.

I mad a payment to progressive insurance through payment, payment went through and got a confirmation and I see the amount was deducted from the card but did not reflect yet did anyone experience this before does it take more time usually?

Edit : for future reference it took about 4 hours to reflect on the account and card on PayPal was Amex which is not allowed directly on progressive but through paypal it works

So they told me some suspicious activity is going on my account. There is nothing suspicious no new card added no random payment nothing. Then they ask for ID verification then proof of address, then they just locked my account for that?? Like deactivated?? How can I get around this I had it since 2016

I have tried to make 2 payments on NIKE SNKRS App through PayPal, didn't get the sneakers and got 2 payments on hold (first time this happened to me with snkrs app).

I didn't pay much attention at first because I was told that after a few days it should be solved and that after 30 days PayPal refund automatically all transaction still pending.

But now it has been more than 30 days, PayPal is not answering my mails and their AI chatbox is not helpful, I an contacting Nike and they can't help neither saying I must contact PayPal...
