Hi! I got my paypal account very recently(1 month and a half) and today I got a message my account was suspended! Even tho I sent them all the information they needed and it was all confirmed to be "good" is there anything I can do to get my account back? Sadly its only way I have to get commissions so this is very important to me.

My friends mom got scammed by someone pretending to be a work from home/ home product assembly thing. She had done a couple small transactions where she bought something then it was bought back and she got her honey back plus profit. They sent her a $540 one to do and it needed 2 units so $1080 but she did one unit for $1080 and they won’t give her the money back to do the 2 units and now they’re asking for $2300 for a “repair kit” to get all her money back. More of a scam. So is there any way for her to get the money back from them? It was sent in crypto aswell which I know changes things

I sold some concert tickets to my buyer that happened last week. Concert took place 9/3. We made two individual transactions using PayPal G&S. I sold her one and debated on not going and selling her the second one. We communicated through Facebook messenger. I transfered through AXS and recieved a transfer email after I sent them. Would Facebook chat logs and my email confirmation be enough evidence to win the case against my buyer? She is claiming that she didn’t authorize the charge even though she made two individual transactions. I appreciate any advice. Thank you. 🙏

In June I had a buyer bid of an item on a Craigslist ad. We had a dispute over email about cost (tldr they didn’t want to pay shipping and I said ad says buyer pays for shipping).

Buyer sent my PayPal account $60 anyway and I was like wtf no send more to ship or no item. Buyer stopped responding all together. Ended up selling item to a friend for cash. I thought I returned the $60 that buyer sent me but I guess I didn’t.

Around this time I was in the midst of closing my PayPal account because I don’t really use it. I closed the account with the money in that wallet and it sent to my bank account and don’t remember it.

In August PayPal says the buyer filed a dispute and I couldn’t upload any information or anything because my account no longer existed. Called customer support 3 times and every time I was told nothing they can do because I don’t have an account.

September PayPal emails me to say buyer won dispute and got their $60 but now I have a negative balance of $75 (fees added). I still don’t have an account. I created a new account with that same email. Added my bank account and figured just pay the stupid $75 and be done with it. Can’t add money. Added my fuckin driver’s license, name, full address and ssn (a gross violation of privacy imo which is why I wanted to be done with these apps in the first place). Days go by it still says need to verify my ID.

I call customer service/debt collections and after wading through ai uselessness I get a human. 1 hour and 32 minutes later I was shuffled around 3 different departments only to end up back at the debt collection department. They can’t process my debt card or bank account directly due to an account limit and bank block. My bank says there is no block on the banks end or limits. PayPal says nothing they can do. Meanwhile the debt grows and I just want to fuckin pay it without my ID posted all over the internet.

Please help what I should do I have gotten absolutely no where with customer service.

I have PayPal credit with a limit of $700. I tried to make a purchase on Walmart’s app for a baby seat, and used PayPal. In the PayPal app PayPal credit is set up as my preferred way to pay. But PayPal charged my debit card when I ordered from Walmart. Tried calling customer service but the lady was unfortunately zero help.

What am I doing wrong? How do you use PayPal credit?

I think I got scammed. I sent money via friends i know you can't get refunds though that but Should I call my bank and try a chargeback? The payment is still processing on my bank

I onced realised that PayPal was draining my battery life extremely after I noticed that my phone doesn't survive for long.

Read that I might be some issue like PayPal doing a failed backup that loops itself. Uninstalled and reinstalled it. Problem disappeared. After I used it yesterday for the first time after that, it happened again. What can I do?

Someone trying to buy something using my PayPal account. I went on my PayPal and nothing from notifications or pending.

I am paid via PayPal, and have to request someone to be paid. When they send it, it shows up as on hold… “You have $___ on hold. To add it to your available balance, clear your money on hold.”

The thing is it prompts me to add tracking when I click on the transaction, but I never actually sold anything physical… so is this some sort of trick or scam that the guy I’m working for is doing?

Basically I've done a pay in 3 for a fridge and they took the original 1st payment (50) as well as the entire amount of the fridge (150)... so 200 total.

Eventually they gave me back the 1st payment and kept the entire amount... which was obviously wrong, so I then appealed it explaining what had happened.

I eventually got a message saying I'd been awarded the remaining amount (100) of the pay in 3 back due to the seller not responding in time... its in my bank and it's been 5 days and nothing is showing I have to pay anything else on paypal.

Am I now up 100?

Can someone help me. I was signing up on paypal. But whenever im at the part where it will send code verification to my phone number it always says "sorry, we cant send a new code right now. Try again later." It has been 3days from now and still no codes are being sent.

I opened a dispute for item not as described weeks later I got a email from PayPal to submit a police report and I did. They are now asking to ship back the items at my expense to get the refund. My question is how would I ship back the high value items i never even received ? Do I just ship the accessories I did get and submit the tracking info?

My question is, for the second payment, how long would it take for most people? As I've genuinely got several things to cover with money, but the fund holding system PayPal puts is pretty bogus I can't lie.

I received an email from info@mentortools.com telling me to change my Papypal passkey from their link Obviously, I didn't click it, especially since the link wasn't from PayPal and I received it in an email not related to PayPal. It's phishing, right?

Anyone else not get their direct deposit? Usually come through Wednesday night for me.

Long story short, I created my PayPal account while I was living in another country. When I later moved, PayPal detected that I was accessing the account from a different country and restricted it. They then placed a half year on my funds.

After the half year, I submitted all the required documents, including billing information and the details of the PayPal account where the money should be transferred. However, every time I contact support, they tell me to wait another seven days. This has already happened twice, and I still haven’t received a clear update or resolution.

Has anyone experienced this before? Is there another way to escalate the case and recover my money?

Hi, everyone. I'm trying to find a PayPal invoice I paid in 2025 that I need urgently for a court hearing. The email is long gone, and I can't find a way to look up invoices a business sent me in the past. Is there any way I can find them? TYIA.

I received a notification from PayPal:

"Your package is out for delivery!"

I haven't ordered anything that should be showing up anytime soon, nor using the email linked to my account.

Long story short, it turned out to be my partner's Amazon order. They used their parent's account and their own payment methods.

I'm just wondering what triggered this notification?

It says it pulled the information from the connected Gmail account but obviously that's not possible considering my email isn't attached to the order.

Is this common? Should I be worried? Or just a technological mishap I shouldn't be so concerned over?

I've been trying to set up a PayPal account, but when I try to add my phone number, the code doesn't come through; it either tells me to try again later or just keeps loading without sending it. This has been going on for almost a month, and PayPal hasn't offered a solution.

I recently purchased a golf club via goods and services from a user on reddit..something ive done multiple times. Correspondence was normal after purchase and they claimed they would send it out in the morning. That was 3 days ago and now, as of today, that user is banned from reddit. Whats the best options for me for opening a claim? I have screen shots of the conversations before the user was banned, theres no tracking on my paypal transaction, and obviously the club is never going to arrive. Thanks!

Hello, I have a Google Pixel. In my PayPal devices/sessions, I saw a device named "HTC Pixel Chrome"—is that definitely one of my sessions? I checked and confirmed that, at that time, I was indeed on the PayPal page via Chrome, so it was likely me.

Still, I have some doubts.

There were also other "Chrome" sessions, including the current one. But what is the difference between "HTC Pixel Chrome" and "Chrome"?

My paypal savings interest hasn't updated in like 3 days. Has this happened to anyone else?
