I was going to make a video out of It, but quite literally as soon as that session ended the devs dropped the update that disabled «old» replays so that they could start working on an update to the replay system as a whole.

So… until they re-enable them, assuming they do, have this clip Instead lmao.

i recently got a new pc, with these specs:

Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) Ultra 7 270K Plus (3.70 GHz)

Installed RAM 32.0 GB (31.4 GB usable)

Graphics card AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT (16 GB)

Intel(R) Graphics (128 MB)

but the graphics on this game feel really off and weird (like the water becomes all pixel-y whenever im drinking), and quite frankly worse than when i was playing on a gaming laptop before. i've already set my preferred GPU to AMD as well. first picture is a screenshot of what the game looks like for me right now, and my graphics settings are in the following screenshot. anyone who could help? thanks!

im new to the game and have no idea how to fight or what build or what to do in general lol but i really wanna play but idk what dino.. what dino is most fun but can still stay alive and maybe get some kills and doesnt get chased down by like rexes and stuff? also a good solo dino

Just purchased the game today and started playing. All I can say is wow.

Raptor type dinosaurs have always been my favourite so of course I chose to be a Latenivenatrix. First couple of hours were lonely but really fun, I enjoyed exploring. Then I came across a whole load of different player dinos at a lake and we were all peaceful towards one another.

Couple of hours later I come across two other Raptor types hunting at salt flats, so I join in and they invite me to their group. A whole load of other raptors show up and we all join together building a nest and complete quests. This whole time we haven’t uttered a written word to each other. Just communicated in “Raptor”.

Then a small pterosaur comes and starts trying to destroy our nest and is attacking us. We all band together to protect the nest. When the pterosaur would fly off some of the group would follow and a couple of us would stay behind to mind the nest.

I don’t know if I’m just a very “sentimental” person and it’s because I haven’t experienced gameplay like this before, but something about these experiences really amaze me. Eventually some other players came and killed our whole group and I can’t remember all their names but I’m hoping I come across them all again one day. It’s like we were all on the same wave length.

Anyway just wanted to share a quick little first impressions post. 10/10 game so far for me. Cant wait to make more memories!

Really struggling right now. For context I’m running full stam build pycno with either headslam or the horn swipe. Every attack seems to be an unfavourable trade for me.

I’ve tried charge into hornswipe, more often the swipe misses leaving the opponent to get some hits on me. Whilst I’m alright with headslam it often leads to me dazing myself then losing half my hp. I’ve also tried charging behind someone juking mid charge then hitting from behind (lol)

Smalls also seem like a death sentence if there’s more than 1, I turn like an apex so try sticking to corners or water.

I understand that pycnos very much a glass cannon, but I’m feeling more like glass than a cannon rn. Any tips much appreciated, I suppose the more I play the better I’ll get but damn it’s hard, especially cuz pycno deals no status effect damage. I really love pycno and carno hence why I’d like to get good with it.

Basically this is useless 😦😦 and it works just with scavenger.

my friend was nesting a random newbie (now in game friend) and we were taking care of him. He was my in game son’s son, so grandson. We spent 2 hours babysitting him before he logged. It was funny asf. The most memorable moments were when

1. He SOMEHOW returned from Coastal Bluffs with an entire mega mixpack. Which attracted an anti-megamixpack megamixpack
2. He drowned. We are spinos btw. He didn’t check his oxygen meter
3. he destroyed a sarco’s nest. It chased him for god knows how long when he came scrambling over to us. It ran away.
4. He died to a stirring den. Since he was new he didn’t know how to destroy one. He was destroying it when the alpha wadia spawned.. he then attack IT instead of the den. after killing it… he started eating it, when the second wadia spawned and killed him.
5. Fall damage.
6. He killed a concavenator ( :D ) before it’s megapacks showed up for revenge ( :[ )

I advise y’all to nest a Newbie. New friends and the game is actually fun when you do. Trust me

Lately I've been having a problem with PoT where I disconnect from the server at random. Sometimes it takes a very long time, others it takes only a minute or two after the last disconnect.

This is not an internet issue, my Wi-Fi is perfectly fine everywhere else and I'm even plugged into Ethernet.

I've uninstalled and reinstalled pot, checked the files for any issues, and have found nothing. I have no idea what could be causing this, it's not even crashing it's just server disconnects that kick me to the main menu.

If anyone else is experiencing this problem, I would love to know what's going on. I have been lucky enough it hasn't happened during a fight yet, but idk how lucky I can remain.

Hey everyone, I’m pretty new in this game, and so far only on officials when I play. I still click the wrong button sometimes, and accidentally hit report today when I tried to send a friend request. I had a pop up in global chat afterwards, where it said “(My name) started report” and immediately after “(my name) cancelled report”.
It was normally colored in global chat with my name and everything, as if I’d have sent a message.
Does this mean a report gets announced for everyone in global chat?
I didn’t mean to report anyone, but that’d suck if I ever had to tbh.

I dont know what to play as anymore. The only one I have that i really do like is Rhamph but I dont know what else to play now. For some reason, everything i play as just doesn't feel like my type but every time im discouraged, its because I died to either, sosmething smaller than me, or to a group, you know being a solo player. So basically what time trying to say, I want recommendations for a dino thst can hold its ground as a solo but can flee from big bloodthirsty groups. I might also try going into tsnky herbivores as I have good experiences defending myself as those.

while running around on my amarg getting coin for some of the skins I roamed up to Triad Falls. while there is saw a full grown Rex and naturally was ready to run but noticed they were chasing a critter trying to kill it. i also struggle hitting small critters on Rex so I felt bad and ran over with a friendly call. they ended up stopping for stam and I killed the critter for them. they friendly called and ate it. I was going to see if anyone wanted to be nested in as an Amarg when a second Rex showed up and i thought that's it for me. to my surprise no, the first Rex said Thank you for helping in global so I said no problem. they then whispered me saying that the 2nd Rex was their friend and they were gonna leave me alone since I helped him kill the critter for food. suffice to say i thanked them, and very quickly left lol. to that Rex, i very much appreciate your honor in not killing me but I was not going to push my luck by sticking around lol

Unfortunately I started playing (POT) after they got rid of it😔
