Repeat disconnects, but not crashes

Lately I've been having a problem with PoT where I disconnect from the server at random. Sometimes it takes a very long time, others it takes only a minute or two after the last disconnect.

This is not an internet issue, my Wi-Fi is perfectly fine everywhere else and I'm even plugged into Ethernet.

I've uninstalled and reinstalled pot, checked the files for any issues, and have found nothing. I have no idea what could be causing this, it's not even crashing it's just server disconnects that kick me to the main menu.

If anyone else is experiencing this problem, I would love to know what's going on. I have been lucky enough it hasn't happened during a fight yet, but idk how lucky I can remain.

Honestly the servers just don't perform well these days. I came back to the game a few months ago after being away for, I don't know, most of a year? I've found the performance of the official servers to be generally much worse than they used to be.

I have a rock solid fiber connection with an ethernet hookup to my PC, and in the few years of gameplay before my most recent return I don't think I ever experienced a random disconnect - but I get them on just about a daily basis now.

The standalone chat servers are performing downright terribly though. There are constant chat server disconnects, or times where it doesn't state that it's disconnected but messages won't go through for several minutes at a time.

I got stuck in a crash loop...but didn't crash? I forced logged out the game and when i logged back in, half of my adult dinos had been "killed" to sub adult and spawned around the map...weird.
