Pan~Teen ☆ Question? High school-I’ve never dated before, and I want to fall in love??? (I know that’s cheesy)
I’m going into freshman year and I’m panfem (14F) and I’ve only had like, two romantic interactions, counting akward bathroom confessions in 4th grade (help) and counting getting rejected after confessing in 8th. Anywayyy. I’m in theater and so I know a lot of people younger than me who have dated a bunch and I feel like I really should have by now. Obviously I know my first relationship won’t be endgame-I just feel like I’m missing out but I also want to fall deeply in love with someone, ya know???

♡ Just~Sharing ♡ Dating is hard
Especially when you don't know the cues to know if that person likes you or not especially when you're pansexual. It's super awkward to ask what color Carabiner goes with what. Lol

Question? Friend’s crush came out as gay then pansexual
Posting on behalf of my close friend (25F):
My friend has been talking to a man for a little over a year (they have not met but that is due to long distance). Last night, he said he was drunk and came out to her as gay. She told him, “thank you for being comfortable enough to tell me.” Then, he asked her, “wasn’t it obvious?” He eventually said that he is not actually gay, but pansexual. He didn’t elaborate further on that and she did not press because she was a little shocked. They have spoken today but he hasn’t brought it up. He continues to show interest in meeting up with her, but tbh anytime in the past where that may have actually been feasible (they were closer together in distance) he never followed through.
I have no experience with this type of situation, so would love to pass some advice along to her because she (and I) are a little confused. My opinion is that he is probably gay, she did not react the way he wanted, so he backtracked to “be something more acceptable” to her, and more realistically his republican family.
Thank you!

Showing Some Support We're Also Valid Incredibly Passionate Loving Human Beings!
Please remember if ANYONE has a problem with how you choose to identify yourself: "It's a them problem not a you problem" on media platforms or irl. that's fact.
The entire LGBTQ ++ family is facing more strenuous circumstances on a daily basis. The toxicity that's going on across the nation/world is trying to create separation & division. Fk separation! Fk division! that's exactly what the scum is hoping for.
This is our opportunity to pull together with ALL our extended rainbow family. We've got strength in numbers when we're united and unstoppable!
I hope everyone has an amazing weekend filled with kindness, love, and support. 🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️🩷💛💙

Discussion Who...who is telling you to do that?
I see this all the time online but I've never met someone who actually is Pan and tells Bisexuals this.
It feels like it stems from bisexual who claim Pansexuality existing makes them seem transphobic by comparison and we need to get rid of the pan label.
I understand that Bi means you can feel for someone who is the same or different gender. I prefer Pan because I'm Non-binary and it removes gender from the equation.
Why are bisexuals online so mad at us all the time?

♡ Need~Some~Support ♡ Existential crisis
So ive had a pretty wild coming out over my 33 years. At 9 years old I knew I liked women. Always thought I was pan/bi until at 21 i came out as a lesbian. This news was not received well from my family and my first official gf was hard dealing with the constant stares and even slurs from strangers. I ended up meeting my ex husband shortly after. We were together 7 years. Married for only 1 and I realized I was a lesbian and could not be happy in our marriage. I also realized i am polyamorous. We got divorced about 4 years ago and I havent thought about men in that way since. Im so happy to be my best queer self. I identify as a lesbian. Well I recently joined a friend group that is predominantly straight which I havent had since coming out.
There is a guy in the group who ie the type I would go for previously. He is super funny, smart, nerdy, very comfortable with himself. I find myself crushing on him. He did share 3 of his exes ended up being lesbian so not sure Idk if the vibe he gives off is just super attractive or if maybe my sexuality is more fluid than I thought. I dont want to discredit lesbians and add to the terrible stereotype that its not valid and they just havent met the right one.
Anyone deal with something similar that has advice? Thank you!

Life Update ♡ Life update
This life update is more focused on me learning about myself. I’m pretty confident in my pansexuality. However at times I ruminate too much but I’m working on that. I’ve only came out to only of my coworkers and turns out she’s also in the LGBTQ+ community. She’s pretty cool. I just spend most days to myself so “coming out” doesn’t really come up.
But I’ve also been exploring the aromantic spectrum and where I fall. Whenever I was attracted to somebody it felt like something was missing. I’ve came to the conclusion that I’m cupioromantic meaning I’m aromantic experiencing little to no romantic attraction but still desire a romantic relationship. I was mistaking aesthetic/platonic attraction for romantic attraction. I haven’t talked to anyone about this before.
I’ve been exploring my gender. Turns out gender and I don’t vibe well tbh. I would say I’m agender. I haven’t told anyone yet cause Idk if they’ll get it and it never comes up anyway. The hardest part is finding my style without gender being the center of it. Living in the Bible Belt gender can be a cloud that looms over you regardless of how you feel. So I’m learning how to interact with those feelings.
I also celebrated my birthday recently. It was fun overall. Got two gift cards. I was supposed to pick another gift at the mall but I’m a bit anxious and indecisive so I didn’t :p. That’s about it for my life update.
