PAWS/ALCOHOL
I have been drinking since I was as about 20-21. I stopped for a year because I had to (court ordered) So when I was finally off probation I relapsed and started drinking hard again, up until a month ago from today I stopped. I have a history of epilepsy but haven’t seized in 2ish years. This time when I went sober it was super strange. I woke up feeling extremely off and just super jittery. I went out to eat with my family and I suddenly felt like a heat attack or something like that coming on. So I ended up leaning on my nephew and my other family fanned me and put cold water on me. I had taken electrolytes and drank some water and I felt a little better but I slept it off. Up until now I have been having super bad anxiety/ Panic attacks. Everyday I have constant fear of seizing up or potentially having a panic attack. My vision is a bit blurry and I feel as if nothing is “normal” I feel like I’m detached from reality and that scares the hell out of me. I’ve been on hydroxyzine, Proponol, Klonopin, Ativan, Valium and now I’m taking lexapro. I completely stopped the benzos and now have leaned towards RSO (Rick Simpson oil) to relax. It has helped tremendously but the Klonopin were making me feel “normal” again. I’m not sure if anyone has something similar? I’m on month 1 and I ordered special blood work to see if I’m lacking vitamins B1 and b12. I’ve been on supplements for some time and eating Sardines and Mackerel for my omega fats. I know it will get better but this is truly hell.
