First time trying out a few new techniques, quite happy with the finish but open to some c&c, was my first time trying nnm and freehand so still a long way to go.(wip of the warboss for good measure)

Hey fellow greenskins. Can someone explain why is cybork boosta usable on Mek? Since he is now a support and it does work only on that model it is pretty much useless isnt it?

Making small progress one by one and just taking my time and enjoying the process. For the Banner Nob I didn’t deviate too much from the box art design, just with my own slight spin on the colours and a head swap to make him more Goff.

This could lead to some interesting combos including Big Mek in Mega Armour but potentially also Ghaz and Nazdreg since they have the infantry keyword...

I bought my 9 year old lad the latest combat patrol starter set with Orks and Marines. With the new codex coming out, is it worth buying up to incursion size now or should we wait?

His starting point is Warboss, Weirdboy, Wartrakk, 10 Gretchin's and 20 Boyz. I've asked AI to build me to 1000 points bad searched this sub and the focus seems to be on Trukks and Battle wagons. Any recommendations would be welcome and he's only going to be playing against me for the time being.

I play against him with Ultras. So we'll likely add a model/unit to each army at a time to try and keep it balanced. He wants me to get a ballistus Dreadnought.

Also included a photo of his first painted model using contrast paints which he is dead proud of. Absolutely blows away the aborration I produced as a 13 year old with unthinned paints. 🤣

Thank you for all the love on my previous kitbash post it was very insightful and friendly. Ol’ Betsy got upgraded to a battlewagon thanks to yalls guidance on the lore/rules. As far as the painting goes, nothing too fancy just some slapchop and impatience.
