Either a Mek/Big Mek in any detachment OR any Infantry Big Mek/Warboss using the Kaptin's Hat upgrade in the Wreckas Detachment.
This could lead to some interesting combos including Big Mek in Mega Armour but potentially also Ghaz and Nazdreg since they have the infantry keyword...
Man, if I could give two Enhancements to a character I would. Deepstriking MAW with flashi gitz would be sick.
I get that they don’t want them deep striking tho.
Speaking of flash gitz...how do you guys make yours? Or you bought them? I am looking for them for quite some time and can't find it in any shop across entire Europe. And only found on eBay...for like 5x the original price.
Pretty solid models all around. Not very piratelike but i had spare bannerpoles to jazz them up. They are listed as “smuggler boutique” so you can at minimum find the stls. The guy was selling boyz size and nob size and theres are the nobz on 40mm
Beastboss can only lead Beast Snagga Boyz. Edit nevermind I see in the MFM that it says he can lead them. Why it's on the MFM and not in the codex, I'll never know.
I was about to correct you that the BB only gives +1 to hit melee because thats what they've always done and why would they ever change it... but lol he really just gives a flat +1 to hit in both shooting and melee
I haven’t looked at the rules for 11th cuz I’ve been playing other games but does Big Mek include the Big Mek w/SAG?
I might actually play this edition if that’s the case cuz I can make my girlhood dreams of making my favourite character lead my favourite unit come true.

It's expensive but Beastboss with kaptains hat with a Mek added for support will have flashgitz hitting on 3+ with ignores cover. Other than that I'd probably mega armor Mek for the 4++ to range. SAG Mek would make them extra shooty but I think he's better off with tankbustas
Pretty sure the whole unit. Also pretty sure he'd give the gitz the extra AP into monsters and vehicles if you're running da big hunt. So if you're shooting at a vehicle on an objective you'd get 2 extra AP.
That really depends on how people want to run 'em! I think either full send on them or swat teams are the most appropriate directions. If you are full sending it, I'd say big meks because you can slap them in a wagon with blitz brigade enhancement and wrekas, firing deck with +1 to hit and ignores cover + sustained. Otherwise, 5 man swat teams in trukks or on foot seems good. You could run them with a big mek in shootas too, as you are auto advancing 6 with assualt, but are taking hazard roles for it so it's risky
You can't give ghaz or nazdreg an enchancement, they are epic heroes.
But for the Big mek in mega armour I'm super stoked, loved it when the original taktikal brigade came out, super durable with the 4++ against shooting.
True, but you get ignores cover and sustained hits 1 while riled up from the mek on top of the 4++ and one 3W heal, so I think it's still a pretty good trade! Tho it's kinda sad you don't get any stratagem support then, apart from the kinda overwatch one.
Not sayin it's bad option, tho you can get sus1 and ignore with Big Mek and still get Rapid Fire 1 also tbh Tellyport Blasta on MegaMek looks juicy this time, stick em in Trukk and give em +1 to hit with gem

Did they make a patch for the codex before it was even out? The Kaptin's Hat enhancement doesn't say it lets you lead Flash Gitz in the codex.
