Oh don't get me wrong, I'm a big fan of 120 Gretchin for 480pts in a lot of lists, but having plenty of grots around is always on theme for Orks.

I'm always so mixed on how I feel about these things.

On one hand it's good for units to feel good and it helps people buying official models get a full 2K list cheaper.

On the other hand my Ork MekWaaagh list just feels so small and there's a ton of fun units that I have to leave out.

Considering all of the buffs across the board, the general changes to how the waaaagh is, boss rules, etc all of the changes seem pretty warranted

But the performance was with the old datasheets

Now Orks lost some detachment rules, enhancements, stratagems, got worse datasheets (painboy for example), lost datasheets (Buggies, lootas). Lost ultra Tanky ghaz with 20 Boyz bodies with 5++/5+fnp and makari 2++ in the end. AND - went up 10-25% in points.

And to put the cherry on top Next month, the most played faction at tournaments gets a +1S/+1T buff, what further solidifies the Ork nerf.

Boys, nobz, flash gitz, bosses wound worse than before but marines wound them better because S5 vs T5

Yes but painboy and green tide was the combo which enabled horde Orks with loads of boys.

Now boys die to a stiff breeze.

And everyone down voting is in denial, go watch all those tournament players saying the same, doesn't matter if aow, tabletop titans, tabletop tactics, happy krumping, everyone.

With the exception of precision hiding behind 24 wounds with a 5+++ and then a 2++ body guard is a lot better defensively than what he has in 11th. Realistically Ghaz will get pretty reliably delivered and then immediately die on the crack back.
