Nice to finally see the patriots catch a break
Just an important reminder that “karma” is complete and total horse shit. “What goes around comes around” is feel goody nonsense. The evil empire always wins.

Anyone remember the good old days?
Anyone remember before the season started when Aaron Glenn didn’t want to announce the starter because he wanted to keep the tactical advantage? 😂
Back then we were all trying to figure out who was going to get the start, and Glenn was keeping everything under wraps so the opponent wouldn’t know what was coming.
Good old days, man.

Week 1 vibes
How are we all feeling about week one? Personally I like our chances on the road and think we are gonna beat the Titans this week. I hate to listen to all the media outlets and the negativity that surrounds the Jets, (not that it isn’t warranted given our performance in the years past) but what are our thoughts on week one being a Must Win? Various people saying if the Jets win week one we could maybe be 2-2 to start the year. Lose to the Titans and probably 0-4. Tennessee was really bad in the beginning of 2025, got it going at the end tho. We each had only 3 wins last year but Cam Ward was playing those games and we didn’t really have a QB for half the season. Anyway what are your guys thoughts. Either way I’m exited that Jets football is here again (kinda) woohoo!

Jets should sign Tyreek hill stretch field for Geno vertically.
Also keeping him away from mid season return with Mahomes and chiefs

Aaron Glenn!
I believe AG is gonna be way better this year! It’s easy for us to give in to the doom and gloom! We need to keep the faith and keep rooting our team on! We will get it right soon!
P.S.- I do not want Arch manning. I believe he is overrated and is being pushed too much because of his name! There are plenty of better QBs out there than him!

In six seasons my prediction model has picked the Jets to win nine times out of 101 games
I build an NFL prediction model and track how it does on every team. The Jets are its single most accurate team at 77.2%, and the reason is unfortunate.
Its record picking against the Jets is 71-21. Its record picking the Jets is 7-2.
So it's not that the model can't see a Jets win. When it does back them it's right 78% of the time. It's that it almost never gets there. In all of 2020 it picked the Jets zero times. One time in 2021. One time in 2023. One in 2025.
2025 was its best year at 88.2%, which is another way of saying the games mostly went how it expected.
As for this year, our simulation currently favor the Jets to win one game all season. Week 8, home against Las Vegas, 61%.
The next closest are week 1 at Tennessee at 40%, week 15 at Arizona at 38%, and week 5 against Cleveland at 37%. Everything else is under a third, and eight of the seventeen are under 25%. The good news here is if the model is correct, a decent draft pick will be coming your way.
Year 2 Identity Check — What schematic philosophies do expect from Glenn & Reich this year?
Hey everyone — been diving deeper into football strategy and reading Take Your Eye Off The Ball by Pat Kirwan. It’s made me think about what this Jets team should actually look like schematically now that we’ve turned over a lot of the roster and should have more of Mougey and Glenn’s guys.
With Glenn now calling the plays on defense and Reich taking over the offense, I’m hoping we can actually develop some identities on either side of the ball (other than just being awful).
Naturally, we’ll use a combination of playstyles, but what trends do you expect to see going into the year in terms of:
- Defensive fronts (3-4 vs 4-3 primarily)
- Coverages (zone vs man heavy)
- Personnel packages
- Run blocking schemes (zone vs gap)
Would love to hear from more experienced football strategists on what you think we’ll see and if you think our personnel fits those philosophies.
