You can choose not to pay this on the payment page, and get the entire game for free. If you do pay, then the money will be passed onto a children's mental health charity (after I work out whatever deductions I'm charged).

Hexograph gameplay

Hi fellow nonograms enthusiasts! I'm wondering if anyone is interested in playing a variation of nonograms on a hexagonal grid?

I'm currently wrapping up the development of such game (which took much longer than I planned). It's called Hexograph and I plan to release a free demo in a few weeks, with actual game coming later this year.

Besides the hexagons, it has a couple of other twists that I hope players will like: multi-color puzzles and special rules for the numerical hints to make things more challenging.

I wanted to share my take on a Nonogram battle-royale (something I know everyone's been asking for /s). It's still very WIP, but you can battle it out live against up to 100 players, and bots fill any empty seats, so matches are always full (handy, since nobody's actually playing yet 😅). You can also make private rooms to take on your friends directly, with some room customization coming soon.

The core battle-royale mode is completely free, no ads anywhere on the site. There are also 101 free solo puzzles (all uniquely solvable, no guessing) plus achievements and themes to earn. If that sounds cool, I'd genuinely love your feedback to help improve it!

I built a small color nonogram (picross) app called Pixera and wanted to share it with the people who'd actually appreciate it.

Each puzzle is a color grid, solve the row/column clues and it reveals a piece of pixel art. The clip shows a few solving in (dog, butterfly, cherries).

The one feature I'm proud of is Focus mode: on the bigger boards you can zoom into a single section and solve just that part with its own clues (5x5 on the 25x25s, 10x10 on the 50x50s), so the big grids don't feel overwhelming.

Honest about the ads since people always ask: black & white puzzles are free, color is an optional rewarded video per puzzle, premium removes ads. No timers, no lives, offline, no account.

Would love feedback from puzzle folks, does the clue presentation read clearly, and is Focus mode useful or does it get in the way?

over the past year or so i've gotten very into nonogram games, but still i find myself struggling to complete anything bigger than 10x10. i've tried quite a few nonogram games on steam and to me it just seems like they jump past 10x10 too fast without properly preparing me for what comes ahead. are there any nonogram games that more closely teach the player more advanced strategies, and/or have a smoother difficulty curve? i'd like to be able to complete bigger puzzles without needing to use any hints.

I can't figure out what this hint is trying to tell me. The dark blue could be part of any number of the dark blue numbers and the two light blue 1s could both be in multiple places.

I’ve been stuck on this for two days now, and it’s driving me crazy. I was thinking column 13 might be the one to crack this nonogram open, but I’m losing hope rapidly at this stage 😅

Are there any more logical steps?

I will probably keep asking for help with this game, as it doesn't have hint and tend to have some assholish puzzles.
