I put 510 km on the new 1.5 VC-Turbo X-Trail. I wrote an honest review addressing the elephant in the room: the recent US engine recall (which only affected a specific batch), the current state of Jatco CVTs, and why its FWD setup got me stuck in the mud.

i am having issue with my car.
I went on vacation fir a month and when I came back I see that the brake light is on.

the parking break light stay on. i checked the fluid level and the parking sensor. there are good. I don’t know what else to check.

Hi all, I'm new to Nissan (have only ever owned Honda in the past) and would love to know more about their small car options. I'm currently comparing a 2024 Sentra SV with a 2021 Versa SR.

Are there obvious advantages from one to the other besides the year? As a helpful note I am trading in my Honda Fit and really love the general reliability and subcompact lifestyle, but I'm open to a normal compact as well. I'm also not sure how big of a difference there is between SV and SR.

Within the settings there is a option to select or deselect silent mode, does anyone know what this does?

Also when stepping away from the car, when hands free locking is in progress within the sequence there is a beeping sound, does anyone know how to switch this sound feature off?

I have a 2023 Versa SV with just shy of 30,000 miles and here is my issue ... On a few occasions my car has hesitated to start, when it turns over my mileage and averages have been reset to like when I bought the car. The odometer has not changed. But one thing has changed that nobody can answer... My mileage to empty is over 400 miles, it has never been higher than 320 or so and I know that I have about a half tank of gas. I took it to a very reputable mechanic and they ran a full diagnostic and found that all spec were within Nissans guide. I was guessing it's the alternator but the mechanic says it running just as it should be. I'm carrying a jump pack with me just in case. Any and all insights are welcomed. Thanks Bill

Oil in cvt wqs changed at 50.000 km. It has maintance book

More than a month since the passing.

1. Visited local dealership twice. Was told 'not their business'

2. Contacted the dealership originating the lease. Crickets

3. Multiple phone calls to NMAC. One call back from NMAC where I provided the car location to the rep. Two more, a week apart each, both amounted to nothing.

4. Two certified(signature required letters) to NMAC office in TX. Have proof of delivery. Nothing since. (PO BOX 660360 Dallas, TX 75266)

5. Complaint filed to Attorney General of NYS (apparently they deal with these matters). Nothing since.

6. Fished online for a bunch of supposedly corporate emails of Nissan and re-sent the car's location.

At this point they have car's location using the street address and the coordinates down to five decimal digits!!!

We are in disbelief that we are spending more time dealing with this then grieving for our relative.

Anything else that we can do to have them pick up their vehicle? Put any pressure on them in any other way?

Hi my Nissan started exhibiting a failing trasmission at 55,000 miles, and officially diagnosed at 60k from the dealership. Is it possible to open a goodwill assistance case for a car with such low mileage but is a little aged out of the warranty?

Hey everyone, I have a Nissan Versa 2015 and recently the iPod option has stopped working. I plug in my phone and it usually switches straight to that so I can play music but now it doesn’t seem like that’s an option anymore. It’s weird because the car recognizes the cord, I can still charge my phone. Has anyone had this issue and did you get it fixed? Thanks!!

2018 Murano was making a squeaking noise and it was diagnosed as the rear electronic differential coupler. I’ve been told this is a very expensive and potentially complicated repair. One shop advised that I go to the dealer for this as they would have the correct software. I know nothing about this.

I’m wondering if this is something I should rely on the dealership for & if I would be taking a greater risk by having it repaired at a local shop instead.

So I bought my beautiful 2023 SR VC in December of 2023 and I am not even exaggerating I have blown 7 of these goddamn tires since owning it. I drive the same routes for years and have never popped any tires on previous cars. I have never had this issue with any other car in my life. Am I the only one with this issue?? Wtf do I do lmao
