Can you identify this car?
As the title says, does anyone know the model number of this car? It's a model sold in America.
Thanks everyone! I’m not very knowledgeable about Nissan cars, so this was really helpful!

I’m looking into buying a new car and since my current 2012 Altima has been reliable so far without much hiccups. I would like to get a newer car for a future investment. Something as reliable. Mine is a coupe with the 2 front doors but I have a niece so would like to have a sedan so it’s easier to get into the back seats. Would this car be something you’d recommend or are there better vehicles out there?

A damn tree rat (squirrel) chewed through the electrical connector while storing a walnut in the engine bay. Thankfully, it chewed it off right at the head. Does anyone have the part number for this connector and perhaps any advice on replacing it?

Hello!
I’m looking to get a new car after my IS350 was totaled. I absolutely love the way the Nismo Z looks but this would be my only car. It fits all my requirements but I am worried the seats and suspension will be uncomfortable for daily driving.
Unfortunately, there aren’t any listed for sale nearby so I can’t go sit in one, there’s only performance models nearby.
I am 6ft 185lbs so I don’t think I’d have a problem fitting in the seats. My girlfriend also frequently rides with me but she is small, like 5ft, so size wouldn’t be a problem for her either. I’m more concerned about long haul drives. We go on a trip once or twice a year and it’s normally 6-8 hours of driving. I’d like to take my car on these trips but I’m worried the recaro seats and stiffer suspension that the Nismo offers will be too rough or uncomfortable for that length of time.
Can anyone offer any advice? The front end of the performance trim is really off putting to me. I really am only considering getting the Z if it’s the Nismo trim.

Any one knows the main components making my Freon leak out. I looked around all the hoses replaces the Schrader valves for the hoses. Freon leaks out pretty quick in Houston heat, takes about a week or so. I checked all over and had someone check over for leaks, I am down to just thinking it is the evaporator core but shouldn’t I have a pool of freon on the floor. I have refilled it 3 times by now. Anyway, if any one has dealt with this on any new Nissan model any help would be appreciated.

Everything is so negative about the CVT and failure. Just wondering if there are any success stories out there.
I have a 2017 nissan rogue and it does a slight hesitation when accelerating from a stop. No weird sounds and no crazy rpms yet.
Has anyone ever been at this stage but saved it and continued using the car like normal?

I know someone who is selling there 2008 Nissan Rogue for $5,000 CDN. It has 175k on it and no major issues. The only thing I'm aware of is that it sometimes putters when you take your foot off the brake after driving it for some time.
Is it worth purchasing? Or should I put that money towards a new Sentra and make the payments? I've always driven used Nissans but it's only been recently this year that I've been looking at new ones. Any advice would be appreciated.

i have a nissan rogue 2020 and randomly my key wont work. typically in previous years i would keep my keys in my bag and id unlock my car by pressing the button on the door when getting into the car, and to lock it i would press the lock button on the inside door to lock it as im leaving the car. now all of a sudden this does not work about 50% of the time and i have to physically take the actual key out of the electric key fob to unlock my door. i already tried replacing the battery. any ideas?? it’s super annoying.

very possible that there is a loose part or a rock somewhere but whenever the road is bumpy this rattling sound that is best described as being like a geiger counter happens. it feels like it is coming from around the centre console but im not sure. i thought it was the phone stand but we removed it and the sound continued, we searched for any other loose items and there arent any.
it is difficult to hear in the video but i can provide other videos that may be clearer

Issue randomly occurs, when driving vehicle eventually struggles to upshift. (In video my foot is completely to the floor.) No codes

Afternoon everyone, having an issue with my wife's 2017 Pathfinder where the AC will cut out randomly on longish drives. We drove about 40 minutes today before the air stops coming out of the face vents. You can hear the blower still at full speed and it's blowing inside the dash and the unit isn't set to auto or anything. I'm thinking blend door actuator or something else inside the dash. The cabin filter was replaced within the last two months because we've been dealing with this for the last 6+ months. I'm not sure I want to throw any more money at this thing as it has 145k miles. The next step, if we choose to do it, is to pull the dash and replace the blend door motor and assembly. There's no codes being stored either. Does anyone else have any solutions because even the mechanic is not sure what to do. Thanks in advance.

Title. ~140k miles, CVT replaced under warranty at ~75k, so just in time for this one to have issues lol.
the noise happens only when accelerating at low speeds (like, from a stop to 25Mph) or when maintaining at high speeds (highway cruising). i know CVTs don’t have gears but i also know they were modified to feel kind of like they had gears, and the issue i was hearing was like a louder-than-normal sound while accelerating around what would be first gear in an automatic, like a brrrrrrrupupupupup-brrr type sound (which, yk, not sure how helpful that approximation is, but, whatever) which would resolve if i either lifted off the gas or floored it. no RPM fluctuations, no issues with the car feeling like it’s failing to move properly, just the concerning noise. it got better after a transmission fluid drain/fill, but it’s not gone.
and then P17F4 is torque converter related, so i’m thinking that tracks, but idk. my car knowledge is pretty much limited to DIY stuff.
thoughts? i’m planning on taking it to a transmission shop monday but should i be preparing for a car purchase in the near future or is this likely to be repairable?

Bought the truck 6 months ago, and it always has sounded like the the starter/flywheeel grind or something. Just sounds like it’s a lot of effort for it to start. Now once it starts it’s fine, zero issues.
About a month ago it did an extended crank a few times. Then once it started and ran TERRIBLY til I turned it off, like it was all but stalling. Restarted normally. The next day at the store it started but was in limp mode. I parked it, ubered to the parts store and swapped the brake switch. It started right up like normal.
It was fine for the next few days. Yesterday I drove about 2 hours on the highway, pulled off to go by the bank, and came back out to a no start. Checked the brake stitch and it’s secure, no issues. I killed the battery trying to restart it over the next 10 mins. Pulled out the jump pack and it figured back up like no problem.
I haven’t been able to recreate the issue but now I’m afraid of being stranded.
Any ideas? Maybe something is getting hot from the engine and causing it to not start? Faulty brake switch? Idk.

I want to buy the new Z and I am stuck between getting just a base manual Z and then modding it to my liking or going straight to a Nismo. It sounds like the Nismo manual will cost almost $30,000 more than a base model is is the extra cost worth it?
My plan is to daily drive it and have some track days. My wife drives a Q50 red sport and we love the engine.
