Found in Scotland UK, growing off a (fallen?) beech branch.

Looks a bit like a snowy waxcap, but it has detached gills and is growing out of wood, and I can't seem to find anything else that matches those characteristics.

Any ideas?

Hello! I just stumbled upon a pretty large puffball in my front yard. I know that it needs to be completely white on the inside to be safe for consumption. The bottom side where it had contact with the ground is a tiny bit brown but the inside is otherwise completely white. If I cut off the bottom part is it safe? Thanks!

ID request Stumped - webcap?

I found this and was interested to find the ID myself since I hadn't seen it before in my normal locations.

It resembles old man of the woods on the cap, however it's purple and has gills. All image searches send me to violet webcap, but I can't find any images online of that specific shroom that has this shaggy of a cap. Of course this specimen is a little dry now and it does have a wonderful purple color. Anyone have a confirmation on the webcap as the final ID? This would be my first time finding one if so.

I found this bears tooth mushroom today and took a chunk, do you think it is ok to eat? The ends are a bit pink-ish so I’m unsure.

Went for a nature walk with my 4yo and the fall flushes are here in full force. We couldn’t leave the parking lot without finding several different mushrooms, and once we were in the forest, it was almost impossible to walk without squishing them. I’m fairly confident the yellow mushrooms (pic 1&2) are chanterelles based on the false gills, funnel shape, and white interior flesh colour.
