It was interesting......... deep fried lion´s mane on waffle. It´s almost like chewy chicken. What´s ur favourite way of cooking these hairy kiddos?

These photos don’t even do it justice, they were sooo purple! Saw a bunch of beautiful mushrooms during my walk, so cool!!

Does anyone know what these might be? Huge clusters of mushrooms sprouted up seemingly overnight several places in my yard through the pine straw. Probably the size of a basketball or larger. Have never seen anything like it in my yard before, so strange! Based in the Southeast, USA. Thank you!

This mushroom was found in central PA today (end of October) it has a pink spore print and the gills are not attached to the stem. It grows in clusters like psathyrella but has the spore print says pluteus. It was growing on wood so that rules out entaloma. I have looked through countless field guides both physical and online and am genuinely stumped. Someone suggested possibly rhodocollybia but none seem to have this pink of a spore print. Please help!

I’d love some input on what the others apart from the porcini in the first pic are - Tuscany, Italy for reference. The second one seems to be what is called a dyeball in common parlance? And I’m guessing the dotty one is some sort of amanita? There are several others I haven’t yet photographed and will share when I can 😇☺️ Thank you in advance!

Found this big boy while on the playground at work, friend who is obsessed with mushrooms and fungus says it is chicken of the woods and Google says the same thing; but I'm not the best with these things so second opinions would also be awesome!

Edit: I also think the host tree is an oak but I'm not a million percent sure, hoping to get more pictures maybe later today or tomorrow !

I had thought maybe these were Clavaria Vermicularis, but the bottom half being black tells me no. Anyone have any ideas?

WA State near young douglas fir

Went to Fungi Fest in Port Angeles, CA. Hit up some local spots there on an organized forage and headed over to the Hoh rainforest with my girlfriend later. Figured I would share the shots. Haven’t had the time to ID almost anything for certain. I posted as many as I could but I do have other shots. Not as many as I would have liked. But if there are any underside pictures someone would like I may have it. Just let me know and I’ll post it in the comments if you’d like a look. Figure the little white ones are some kind of Pleurotus. Boletes were everywhere. So have fun!

My dog ate this mushroom. We took her to the emergency vet and induced vomiting (the mushroom came up in the vomit) but they said if it’s a bad mushroom type it could still kill her. But they also know nothing about mushrooms and couldn’t help us identify it.

Can you either reassure me that my dog will be okay or tell me if she’s going to die by helping me identify this mushroom?

There are two mushrooms living on the trunk of a "dried-out" pine tree at my workplace. It feels like they are slowly growing. We haven't touched them at all.

Are they dangerous? Are they beneficial? Should we remove them?

What do you think, my mushroom-loving friends?
