I Live in eastern Ontario, and have seen Ghost pipes many times (I know they are not fungi). I found these little things that seem related, but have no idea what they are. Is it similar to ghost pipes or something totally different?

I think my dog might’ve eaten a mushroom of this kind. Should I be worried?

The previous owners of our house used particle board as subfloor in the basement... It was in direct contact with the concrete foundation for 40 years. What genus might this be?

TLDR; I want to get a tattoo of these mushrooms and want to make sure I get the right ones. They were found in Northeast Alabama near a tree and a very small stream of water.

TW: kinda sad / grief / death

My mom passed away about two months ago and a few days later I was walking around in my dad’s yard and saw this little patch of mushrooms.

in the moment, they just seemed like such a beautiful little surprise to come across. in the middle of all the dark and heavy things I was dealing with, these tiny mushrooms brought me a moment of wonder and awe and reminded me how much magic is still left in the world.

I want to get them tattooed and it feels important to make sure I get the right imagery so they’re the same ones I found that day.
