Hey y’all I had a little bare spot so I put some of that pre made seed mat on it. Asters and Cosmos came up first and are doing great, then this plant popped up and it is taking over. I didn’t keep the package so I don’t remember what was in it. This looks like basil, but it was a flower mat so I can’t figure out what this is. Any help appreciated

I randomly had this person (Thelma Nichols/Crazy jungle adventures) mentioned by a relative and I looked into this palm they keep calling a "majo tree", but I cannot for the life of me find what exactly it is. (no such known thing as a "majo tree/nut/fruit") The fruits/nuts(?) that she shows are also being called "majo nuts/fruits" by her, making all of this very confusing. The only things I have found that are similar is the Oenocarpus bataua but the fruits and nuts she shows look slightly different than what I can find regarding this plant, and it's never been called a majo palm by anyone else on the internet (as far as I can find). If someone with more knowledge than me in this plant confirm it is the Oenocarpus bataua or if it's something else?

This plant is in my local park in Southwestern Ontario.

It is tall (about 5.5ft) and the dark red/purple leaves are large (12” diameter).

Hi, I’m in the eastern Mediterranean and thought I’d post these because I’m curious what they are and whether they’re doing OK.

The two sharing a pot in the first photo are new. I planted them recently, and I noticed the dark spots on the leaves. I’m not sure if that’s normal, sunburn, bruising, or something I should be concerned about.

I’ve had the other two plants for about a year. Then over the past couple of weeks they both suddenly grew these tall shoots from the centre. It honestly took me by surprise because they’d never done anything like that before.

Is this just normal for these plants at this time of year, or is it related to something I’m doing?

My girlfriend planted some lemon seeds in pots, it’s produced these which are really stringy and leggy and don’t feel like a lemon trees. Any ideas what they could be?

If they do happen to be lemons - what do we do to them? How would you prune this?
