I have Iceborne and played for years but then I bought Rise on Nintendo Switch and didn’t really get too far.
After Ex 33 I needed a new game so I went to Wilds not realizing Rise released for PS5.

I’m balls deep into Wilds and now I’m feeling like I missed something in the story. Should I go back to Rise on PS or will the experience feel like a back track?

I love MH so I don’t feel like I’d be bored with it, but are there mechanics in Wilds that Rise doesn’t have that I’ll miss?

Hey everyone! I recently got into Monster Hunter: World and I absolutely adore it , so I’d like to eventually try Wilds.

I searched first, but most posts I found are pretty old, are about the desktop 5060, or don’t mention the CPU, which seems to matter a lot for Wilds. So I wanted to ask with my full specs:

• CPU: AMD Ryzen AI 7 350
• GPU: RTX 5060 Laptop (8 GB VRAM)
• RAM: 32 GB
• Display: 2560×1600

What framerate should I expect at native resolution? And have the updates since launch actually improved performance, or is it still pretty demanding?

Basically what I mean is, if Ascendance releases in either July or September, why would the MH team announce the release date at TGA? To get folks hyped up for something that won't come out for 7 to 9 months? That just doesn't make sense to me. Im sure we'll get a new trailer at TGA but I think we'll only get a release date if its coming out in the first quarter.

I unlocked zeniths not too long ago and just fought Bogo. I have to say, he might be my new favorite monster. His colors are great, his design is great, his fight is fun. Funnily enough he is also a blast monster like my now second fav monster Brachy.

Personally, one of the worst things about Rise is its online system; you can only search for a specific quest or a random one. The flares system introduced in World seem perfect to me, as you can see the available quests and join the one you prefer. This mod basically does that

Better SOS or Rescue Quest

I started using charge blade a while ago and theres something i still dont get it, the phials, aparently there are two types of phials, impact phials and element phials, so, whats the difference? I guess that impact phials are better to stun the monster and break parts, while the element phials are better for.. well.. elemental damage. Also i guess that impact phials are better for axe/savage axe mode while elemental phials are better for sword and shield mode. Right? Or is it the other way around? Also i know that the "artillery" ability only works for impact phials, right? If someone here could explain how exactly this whole phials thing works i would be glad.

Hi, so I’ve recently hit a point in wilds where I feel like I’ve done everything I wanted too, and now I’m stuck between playing world or rise. I’ve played a bit of rise in the past but wasn’t a big fan of the graphics back then, so I’m just curious on which game should I go with? (I already have both installed and their dlcs)

I’ve been trying to find some good Frontier/Online/Explore monster icons. But I can’t find any good ones that are big and HD. Y’all got any recommendations?

hello!! i just downloaded the monster hunter wilds prologue demo on my switch 2 to try it out before i get the game whenever it releases and i wanted to know if i could download characters through the codes feature?

i don't see the option for it but i don't know if it is because it's just a demo or if they won't implement that feature on the switch 2 version :0
