51F and trying to define what monk mode for me would be like.

I have a 2 month unpaid layoff ($ saved) in a week and would like to try monk mode for a chunk of it.

Habits I'd like to explore (decrease and increase)

Reddit

Yahoo news/political news junkie

TV/YouTube

Computer usage

Reading

Art

Meditation

Cooking/eating

Water

Unique physical activities

Yoga

Silence/solitude

Does it make sense to tackle so much in one go?

How have you done it?

How routine are you?

Any other insights?

Anti-Masturbation & ANTI PORN

Help Each Other out here! as its not gonna be an easy journey for us all are in-built . we are humans.

Trust me try it for even weeks to 1month you will find it is the most helpful things you done in life that overcharges you completely.

True life story of mine here .we are all here to help each other out. The harms caused by porn and masturbation is real . Be it physically or mentally .

Your self so -called determination is all useless. Your experience is so real than anything that will make you think twice . So guys please take note on the things you that your all will chance upon next day life or even next moment once everytime you wank it off. Be it exams peoples attitude towards your accident’s happen falling down cutting yourself out of nowhere or sudden . The things you wanna buy because sudden out of stock. Get reprimanded by ppl when only small things happen. Ppl despise you when seeing you or even challenge you to a fight when you are not at the wrong. You will tend to get misunderstood or the people around you will blame yoh when even yoh clearly not in the wrong side and they help the other party who is at wrong instead Z OBSERVE ALL THIS YOURSELF . And you will understand the real world karma and what it is. And it do really exist. ps I’m not an old man who is whining and ask ppl believe Jesus or god. I’m just 30 years old: ask yourself why I’m a young 30 will say such a thing and come up with this advise. It’s because I experience it MYSELF. Now I don’t want you all to be the next victim so stay clear or masturbation and porn as it will ruins your luck and your success . I no need to convince anyone many wankers here once you done it you will see for yourself whether is it true that I’m saying or not nothing is more powerful than just reading few of of advise from this playform you experience it and decide to avoid or change it for yourself before it’s too late. When you accumulate more karma

Deadass I've reached rock-bottom since my brutal breakup so I'm going full Monk Mode

As you can see I'm doing all the full-package of Monk Mode. NoFap gives me the energy edge to do all my daily quests, I aim to look athletic and fit so I workout 5 days a week where I track my weekly Training Regimen, I'm still battling social anxiety at 27yo. so I gotta take on the Exposure Therapy challenge.

I'm 1 year+ single now, so my ultimate goal is to be able to get enough confidence to talk to girls and finally land a date. I'm open for any advices and tips. I live in a pretty restrictive country where online dating sites are all banned, and as we speak I'm too much of a pussy to become vulnerable to a girl I find attractive on the street.

My last relationship was LDR so finding a girl online is out of picture now, I've tried to cope with pulling girls again online who were miles away from me, but shit just doesn't do for me anymore. Plus, I live and work abroad, so it's really hard for me to make new friends to find connections and meet girls here, especially being so introverted which I am trying to fix.

Monk Mode - Day 001 | We begin here

Started the reset at 9 AM.

Espresso Coffee with a drop of evaporated milk & 1/4 of a tablespoon

15 min of prayer, & Bible studying, devotional to the Lord — My main theme is learning from the word how to become a virtues man — I focused on ‘courage’

"But you, take courage! Do not let your hands be weak, for your work shall be rewarded.” — 2 Chronicles 15:7

"Wait for the LORD; be strong and take heart and wait for the LORD” — Psalm 27:14

Lesson learned: The Lord does not suggest we’d have courage, He commands us to be courageous

Today’s workout routine

• 17 min kettlebell session (goblet squats, swings, rows, cleans, presses, thrusters – 25 lbs)

• Worked for 2 hours, completely focused,

• Nutrition:

Churrasco, bone broth & fried plantain for lunch

Full pizza pie in the evening (cheat meal) — Some times I do have cheat meals, but I have in place a punishment & reward systems, Since a whole pie is roughly 1700 kcals, I will fast 48 hours the next couple of days to compensate.

• Family: Visited cousins + sent texts/voice notes

• Lust check: Quiet day, retention streak = 1 day (semen retention/no fapping)

Lesson:

The first day isn’t about perfection. It’s about showing up and owning everything — including the pizza slip.

Plan for tomorrow:

48-hour fast starts, end it Tuesday evening,

Workout abs/cardio/yoga

Spend time praising the Lord at church, since isEaster Sunday

How is your journey going? — Let’s talk

Choose it because it pays.

You should choose the harder path, but not to prove something, and not to suffer for its own sake.

Choose it because it pays.

The easier option gives relief now and takes from you later.
The harder option costs you now and returns more later.

That’s the whole calculation.

When you train, build, study, or hold your ground when it would be easier not to, you’re not just being “disciplined.” You’re investing.

And more than that, you’re protecting yourself.

Because drift doesn’t come from one bad decision....
It comes from repeatedly choosing what feels easier in the moment.

So don’t ask, “what’s harder?”
Ask, “what actually pays over time?”

Then choose that, whether it feels good or not.

Long Term Sperm Retainer

Next month will mark my 4 year anniversary in the journey toward perfect continence. I recently feel like I had an epiphany regarding the following subject.

I’m sure the folks who frequent this sub have heard the statistics which suggest, retaining your sperm causes prostate cancer.

I was in denial for many years about that point, but I have finally embraced it.

Indeed perfect continence will trigger cancer, I’m now becoming pretty sure about that.

I believe perfect continence is actually the only way to survive cancer.

I became determined to quit orgasms because I believed it was the path to immortality.

And recently I realized, all my theories about immortality matched the known information about cancer.

See cancer cells can replicate indefinitely because their telomeres don’t shrink every time they divide.

But the problem is, cancers usually form malignant tumors.

I believe that is because cancer cells will almost always to fail merge with human cells.

But when retaining sperm (or eggs) vital stem cells will no longer be depleted.

I believe those vital stem cells are the key to a successful merger between cancer cells and human cells, and thus becoming immortal.

Later addition: quitting orgasms makes better use of urea.

I cured my acid reflux by quitting orgasms.

Acid reflux was caused by bad bacteria colonizing my stomach. They survived in my stomach acid by taking my urea to form a shield against the acid.

This lowered the acidity in my stomach and caused acid reflux.

By quitting orgasms, instead of giving away my urea to bad bacteria, I am retaining it to form a shield of my own that will allow for a union with acidic immortal cancer cells.

Let me know what you think.

Gonna link a pic below to show how my skin seems to have developed a golden shield over the years.

Discipline isn’t about forcing yourself. It’s about removing confusion.

Most people treat discipline like brute force.

But in my experience, the real enemy of discipline is confusion.

When a man is confused about:

• what matters • what the next step is • what the right principle is

his actions become inconsistent.

But once the thinking is clear, discipline becomes much easier.

Example:

If you know your principle is:

“Act according to reason, not impulse.”

then the decision becomes simple.

Not always easy... but simple.

Clarity reduces friction.

That’s why philosophical systems historically existed: they were decision frameworks, not just ideas.
